I decided to use the model finder to increase my model list.

Apparently I have unique tastes. Anyone have better luck than me using it?

No idea what this even is..

It is a doohicky that shows you online models that are like the model friends you add to it. The bigger the green bar the closer the match.

I'm assuming you cut out the names and just showed the levels of correlation. I get some results with much higher correlations, including one that looks to be just about 100%, but looking at the models, I don't find the results very useful. Using various ones of my favorites as seeds, I'm getting some strange matches. For instance, a mostly non-nude model who focuses mostly on teasing and music correlated highly with someone who does frequent full-on cum shows and games. They also have very different personalities. I'm not sure what data they're comparing, perhaps the self-reported tags?

I think self-reported tags would probably be the best bet... you could take a manual look (they're all listed on the model's profile and we have a limit of like 30 tags) and count them up.

From the little I understand, search type software is about the hardest to get to work well, and requires lots of time. My guess is this was an option thrown in on the last software upgrade as an extra, or additional premium member feature to sell Leo the goods a bit easier, or maybe someone thought, "the more we can show em the better", idk I do think anyone who knows much about such things never had any expectation it would work very well - I didn't.

They might be able to come up with something that would work somewhat well, by having the members who want to use the feature, input a personal preferences page. Also all Models would have to do an honest self critique. I see three problems with all that tho; One, most MFC members have little idea what they want. Two, tho it would work well with Models like Evvie, or a lot here at ACF, I think you would have a lot of models worried more about hedging the biggest # of hits, than being honest. Three the WMD of any high end feature at MFC, is Leo's not going to buy it. And lets face it, it would be silly if he did. Like putting Lambo seats in a dune buggy. A somewhat slow, pieced together buggy at that.

I just popped in 10 of my favorite models for shits and gigs. The 100% meter bar slowly dwindled down to around the 10-20% mark for all the recommended models. It must go by however they tag themselves
