First I wanna say...Congrats Amber for this GREAT forum!and lots of kisses for everyone whos reading all these interesting posts here!
I'm new here,on this forum,and first of all I want to share with you some of my experience in this crazy"hobby"
I'm a webcam girl for more than a year!First I've worked from home,but at some point I was bored and looking for a change, I took all from zero in a studio from Bucharest.Now I realise what a bad decision I made then!
Working in a studio as a webcam model its like keeping a wild beast into a cage(and I'm not really into this!),of course this could be only from my point of view!I'm not the type of girl who really enjoy to be restricted and strait-laced to a set of strict rules!That's so fucking boring!Or maybe its just my craziness :think:
You have to work a number of hours,you don't have legal working papers,You can't(or you are not allowed) do outdoors shows or any other kind of interesting shows or contests,you have no privacy(studios employees like tech support guys,trainers and managers have full access on everything that you do on your pc; rooms may look personal but not really, like if Im in a show trying to please myself besides my moans, guys could hear the girl next door laughing crying swearing and even farting or the cleaning lady using the vacuum) ,you have to share your income with them(and trust me...you have to give a big percent of what you are making),to many girls working at the same time(this can generates so many frictions between them),sexual harassment(yes...it sucks!when your boss is calling you in the middle of the night asking you to have a quickie,otherwise you'll take the consequences!
I agree... you can find good things aswell in a studio. Like good quality equipment, 24h tech support, trainers, photographer... but still, I prefered putting all away and leave it.
God this is a long post lol, but hope it will help some other girls to think twice when they make a decision. Be brave girls and leave the crap studios!!!Kisses and keep up the good work! :dance:

i have a friend in mfc, who has an asian girlfriend, from mfc
the things there are worst
the studios there make you a quota, like 5.000 each week, if u dont make those 5.000 they pay u anything!
that's just unfair


i used to have a boss, but not working from studio, since today i am working by my self

Well...Anita working in a studio in Romania its still not the same thing as working in an asian studio!Things are a bit different!You don't have a quota to make or something!Most of the people think we are(romanian models I mean) just a bunch of whores kidnapped and kept prisoners into a studio with the boss staying behind the cam and threatening us with a baseball bat in his hands..."hey girl...you have to make 5000 today,otherwise I'll beat you to death!"No...it's not like that!And I don't understand a thing...why everyone think...hey,you are romanian = you are a whore(and there's no doubt about it!)? :think: maybe you all can answer me to this cuz I'm really curious!We are so MANY romanian models having long relationships with our boyfriends,husbands or being single,without dating members or doing esscort!Yes,I agree ,maybe are some romanian models who date members and do some "things" for money,but not all of us!But you dont have to be romanian to be a whore! :snooty: I'm living with the hope,maybe oneday the things will change a bit(about this "romanian "thing) from now!

I have always been curious about the relationships studio models hold with each other. I have watched quite a few do oral on each other, touching and kissing ect. Is this considered a strictly on cam thing and it's totally professional off cam or do the models stay "friendly" with each other all the time. Ladyprada/eve - Inessia/teasinglara (manager ?) - angelinaxxx/chantell.

Hehe...I can see you know my exstudiomates very well!LOL...!Depends...on the models!Most of those relationships are strictly professional stuff,but always the girls involved in this kind of shows are good friends!But few of us are really into this(bisexual stuff or even better - are gay).I did a lot of girl/girl shows and its quite fun to be honest,but also in real life I explored this side of my sexuality!So...for me this isn't a new thing!I know it isn' fair on them to be so honest with you,but thats the way I go always!You can see a girl/girl show wich is just a fake,and you maybe will enjoy that for a wank,but after this you will probably say..."it was ok ,yeah...but it's the last time I pay to see a show like this!"The secret key to make a good girl/girl show is not to fake it,everything should be 100% real,and the girls to be really into it!This is the properly way to have fun and to make your fans respect you and appreciate your shows and your work!
 
I do agree on the realness being the key thing. Authenticity in a show is everything. The privates from my archives I rewatch most often are the ones where the model seems to REALLY be enjoying herself. It doesn't have to be over the top. Facial expressions tell so very much about how real it is or is not I suspect and it is one of the main things I look for besides the obvious naughty bits. :p

While I personally am not a big fan of Romanian cam models in general, this is still quite enlightening. The Romanian studios don't seem quite as bad as I imagined in many aspects but I'd never considered some of the other things that may go on such as the boss calling an employee up for sex. I think the studio aspect still leads to a more business feeling to everything in a room though as compared to watching Amber where you feel like you're just hanging out and chatting with a pretty cool woman.

Do the studios train new girls? Are there suggestions for getting guys in your room? Maybe it's more of an Asian studio thing but it seemed like I received a lot of uninvited PMs from studio models back when I had PMs open to anyone... though it may be coincidental. *shrug*
 
i visited romania, Bucharest is a big city just like any other big city, they have casino and malls and this Huge govt building, bigger than the pentagon it is freaking huge. the trains can take you just about anywhere, except some reason it does not go to the airport. i found that the people that think the worst about romania are the romanians :) a long time ago (1950's) people would talk bad about the gypsy just like any other racist statements against a group of people. Some Romanians are gypsy and some are not, some are good and some are bad, they are a very religious people also i like the churches there, they are are very very old and small and quaint. It is a great country lots to do and great food..(send me papanasi:) ) there was a studio in cluj that closed down, but the girls there had it bad.. like you said with the bosses asking for sex, but they also had quotas and after 2 months of delays the boss ran away with everyones pay. Julia has had public war with her studio for over a year. i would recommend to any girl in romania to skip the studio, you can find a place and a cam and make money with out the studio. i can put you in touch with a model if you need help let me know. same name on MFC or my email is listed on my profile here.

Yes....you have trainers to help you(for the ones who really need help)and are some suggestions for getting guys in your room!But I still don't think I'm quite the right girl to be trained like this,I like to do it on my own way(I hate to beg for being tipped,I don't like to use tricks to win simpathy and I hate to lie and stalk premium members!I just love to be ME...always happy and polite,with a big smile on my face and having a good word for everyone!

Personally I don't believe camming is porn, however every culture has its own ideals and laws.


What do the studios do about this? Do they cover it up or have their own way to describe camming?

What do the models do and how do they feel about camming in their society?

Thanks sweetheart...You are pretty cool aswell! :clap: Well, here on MFC we can say that is not about porn, but camming in general on other sites involves porn. And yes in Romania adult camming is illegal. How do studio works? Easy! They register legal as location rented for freelancers offering non-adult, romance, whatever camming. And they keep going with bribing autuoritties sent to check them. We don't feel verry comfortable with what we do... cause romanians are still leaving under comunism influence. Some of them accept and encourage our hobby, some of them judge and blame us... but we keep going on our way.
 
Yup, they go totally illegal. We don't get legal working paper, no medical inssurance though from what we earned, after their percent they take 10% which they say goes to taxes... lol... bs
And about the way a cam girl feels in romanian society ... I'm not ashamed with this on one way, on the other way my parents don't know and I wont tell them ever. It's strange that camming is seen so bad here taking in consideracion that a lot of girls are doing it. Probablly, as Lisa said we still have comunism and old principles in most of the people minds. Guess that in 20 years girls will be able to do this without beeing judge..dammn I'll be a grany by then... hmmm maybe I should take Lisa and move to US... anyone offering a shelter :think: lmao
 
You said associate with the Romanian model as prostitutes. That's true and it is wrong to say this, but in my free cams models through some Romanian friends who left the studio profiles put meetings on skype and other things for 15000, 20000 tokens. But is reality meet . States that go to Romania to have meetings with them or the models go to their country. I have a crazy friend who did this paid to move a model mfc Romanian. And spent the weekend with her. Dinner .. and more. It is known that one gains little in Romania. The minimum wage is 114 € is normal get tricked with € 1,000. But they should not ...
I had no idea what studios do but some models have Romanian independents of my free cams do these things. is normal to associate. Unfortunately.
 
Sad but true...like I said ,not all of us accept a compromise like that!
 
I understand. You also can not earn much money. Even mfc gives only half a token 0.05 cents.
Much of the models in Romania must be students? Need money for studies, income from home.
€ 1,000 offer is attractive. Winning it in two days.
But not all do it and do not accept. It must also be taken beginning. is wrong but understandable.

But what to call the boss of models and have sex. true? Ever happened to you. The boss of the studio to call you and force to have sex with him?

Among the studio and now at home independently. is a big difference?
Even the work of the mfc is never right. For days that will earn 1500 or 2000 tokens and another 200 or 300 tokens. and are not all working days. on average how much it should achieve.
So I understand why some models in the profile speak at meetings of 20 000 tokens and paypal.
is life ... have to survive.

I have meet some models of mfc of usa tell win for day 200/400 tokens.. others a lot.. but make videos.. videos conference. and some girls..porn star...


but is true in romania and of europe est earn little.. is life
