Who are your viewers?

I think it is important that cam models know whom they are performing for as well as what their audience is seeking. As an active, participating and somewhat generous viewer I, of course, have my own opinions about this subject. Now I would like to limit the discussion to viewers who are actively participating and tipping. They are, naturally, a model's target audience. In your opinion, what is the actual profile of the viewers models are seeking? For example, age group, relationship status, income range and desires?

In a big company, it's easy to be disconnected from your consumer. You could be making a product that's being bought by millions of people at target, and you really have no idea who your customer is. That is, unless you do market research.

Camming is more direct. A model is directly interacting with their customers. There a feedback loop built into tipping. Models can asks their customers what they want, and customers can easily ask for the services they want.

Plus PH publishes a ton of statistics about the yearly trends in porn.

Pornhub is publishing the statistics about free-porn consuming, not about actual members of live content, at the best case scenario, we're talking about VOD subscribers. Their data scientists and end of the year report are amazing, but are not always insightful to us.
Unfortunately, there's a big hush hush in most if not in all big cam websites about sharing carefully selected data insights. Ad that to the fact that there are no real time data aggregators, it's no wonder we constantly lose traffic to the tubes. I'll explain that in simple terms, when you search for a brunette, you will get to PH, or Xhamster first, and wouldn't see which ones are live on Streamate or Imlive for the matter (I love these guys by the way, it's not a personal grievance). When you search for a flight to London on the other hand, aggregators like SkyScanner will show you an abundance of real time availability.
We were the pioneers in e-commerce and business once, yet somehow our big egos are keeping us stuck in 2008.

English speaking people, primarily straight, bi or pan men, with disposable income who are interested in the kind of stuff I do (so interests that match mine) and have internet access and basic tech skills to operate their computer etc. So, the age range is usually 35-60. They come from countries which are not high in fraud. Relationship status isn't a factor. Desires when talking about live camming customers = sexual + sense of connection. Desires with ppm who primarily purchase clips = sexual and sometimes more niche fetishes that are harder to find mainstream.

Btw the target audience isnt always people who are tipping it's people who COULD reasonably be converted tip also.

thats the thing with us streamate and clip models. we aren't really trying to have social interactions, because it isn't a necessity for making money.
