Do you think its fair CB allows someone to use a cartoon cam girl?

Reeeeee

Anime is from Japan. This is just animation.

This reminds me, side-bar, of a friend of mine. She was married to this guy who was a stoner for 8 years. Dude did nothing but lay on their couch and eat all day, while she worked and took care of their kids. Finally, when he started to cheat on her in addition, she left. She told me after the divorce she had made a miraculous discovery... during their entire marriage, she had been getting constant yeast infections. She thought this was a problem with her body, because when she met him they were still in high school so it had been happening kind of her whole sexually mature life. As soon as she stopped having sex with him for good, and left, she stopped getting yeast infections. She said his dick was always smelly, he didn't take good care of himself or wash much. Well, the smell is an indication of bacteria... and hence her constant infections. Now she's serious with another dude, who has his act together (but no big surprise, has a ton of commitment/intimacy issues), and no more infections. So yeah, if a body part smells, it's a pretty good indication that body part is NOT safe to put inside the most delicate location a woman has.

I had a friend who had the same experience. Her ex wasn't a stoner, he just never washed his damn dick, so she had constant yeast infections and UTI's until she divorced him.

On topic, I really don't get the hate that some people are directing toward the cartoon model. Yeah, people are throwing tokens at a novel new thing, but at the end of the day, guys to to camsites to interact with REAL PEOPLE, and they're still going to want to partake of our services. We're not in competition with a cartoon.

But of course as a human woman, I am bothered by what the trend indicates in society. And the fact taht they said she was literally just 18 the day she started camming, which is nauseating, and highly unrealistic to the kind of persona she portrays.

I'm confused what's so bad about a camsona saying it's 18? That is the legal age of consent and majority in most western cultures so...what's the problem? In regards to the "unrealistic part" I don't see how it's all that unrealistic. Unlikely for most people, perhaps (average age is about 23 if I recall correctly) but not entirely unrealistic. Source: started camming full-time the day I turned 18 and have continued to ever since.

I think, ultimately, the issue

Good for you, no sarcasm or snark intended. If I could have when I was I was 18, I would have. Sadly, at the time, the only option was stripping or straight up hooking and neither seemed appealing. I struggled through so many normal jobs before I gave up and started camming full time. Even on my worst nights online, it's better than any 9-5 office gig I can think of out there.

Nothing like listening to two men who will never cam talk about how to cam. I feel like this little bear and his friends would've had a slightly better reaction if they weren't so cocky about the average quality of their animation. From this interview, they seem to think they can take over easily because "cam models tend to only care about themselves, we care about the viewers". But then they go on to condescending chatter about the industry itself, how they doubt anyone will be smart enough to make a better cartoon camgirl, how they don't even care at the end of the day, etc.

Idk, I'm not bothered or annoyed, definitely not scared of losing my viewers, just think it's interesting the way they've approached it all with a clearly biased take meant to offend anyone who isn't cool enough to think they are funny.

Just to quote the video.

"How do you think about what your doing right now is going to impact the industry?"

"uh, I expect allot of crying, and moaning, that's the mane impact. I really don't fucking know. We hope to mix in people, do colabs, we like to get some live, you know real humans in the the cartoons. We'd love to do that. We don't spend all that time about the whole industry.

We spend time thinking about what is fun, what would be cool, what people want. I think people spend enough time worrying about the models. I think allot of models would do allot better, if they worried more about the fans, and the viewers, and what those people want.

As much as they say the models are the back bone of the thing. The people carrying in cash in door, uh play a pretty significant role in the whole thing, and that's what we're catering to, the viewers. if models are our viewers great; they're more then welcome. But if not, what ever, that's not what our focus is.

We want to find people who do what we're doing. who think it's funny, who think it's cool, think it's sexy, think it's interesting, who get a kick out of it. Get what ever heaviness in life is weighing them down lifted up a bit. We want them to come over and enjoy themselves. And the people who are loving it, seem to enjoy, we'll make more of."

It's the Drag Queen of camming. Queens parody roles of women for shits n grins while being (normally) cis white males (of fair wealth). This is no different. Cam models have a right to feel insulted by it.

You have a great point, but the morons tipping this shit aren't reading this stuff. Only we are. Are you not constantly surprised by guys who are like "hurh durh had no idea it worked that way"? 99% of tippers aren't even aware that their name color means they've tipped [x] amount or however other sites amp up tippers. Pussy, pussy, pussy. I came, I came I came. The burden is on us. Not the viewers. So they are not wrong there. We need to cater to what they want. Cartoon porn does have a following. So why not exploit both? Let's all do it. Leak the secrets and corner the market.

They remind me of shock jock radio shows. Fart jokes, applause buttons, trying their damndest to be offensive but in a "unique" way.

Edit to add:
They also seem like the type to call out any "haters" and put them on blast if this loses steam. They already are actually, just haven't started naming names. Idk how I feel about that.

Which I don't get because their characters look like a Flash animation from 2001. This is just novelty; the real market is for actual hentai artists.

I will happily lend my voice and personality to an artistic hentai collaboration. I guess that is where the future is?

What arrogant little jackasses! I was curious at first, but after reading that, I'll not even look at it.

My favorite part of the video though was when the landline started ringing and the voicemail in the background revealed he was in his mom's kitchen.

Okay some things:
Abby Oddly (the animated character) is a creation of FigWiggy, run by some other business called @TheDirtyFolk on twitter, which is owned and operated by a cam girl. (HarperTheFox)
She is in collaboration with a male, who plays that bear character, which is the animation Nate interviewed.
As animations, they won't break character, shits fuckin' weird.
Yes, Nate is the face behind the WebcamStartup account, as well as the operator of WebcamStartup.com. If you check out more videos on that channel you can see what other ventures he does (I'm involved in them, some are really cool!)
FigWiggy is meant to piss people off, that's the whole joke behind it. This isn't a bunch of random jackasses trying to make money out of camming without the hassle, it's actually adult industry workers who cam outside of being cartoon characters.
Although their style is unusual, and I'm not a fan, I think they accomplished what they came to do, which seems to be causing controversy and making raunchy cartoons. *shrug*

I am one of the models who is in favor of it and I tipped the toon a ton on its first night. Still I now believe the people behind it are simply idiots.

It seems ridiculous to me that the company claiming to be doing things to cater to the viewers, to give them what they want, because the other models don’t is fronted by the likes of Harper who as much as I thought she is cool, has no idea what viewers want otherwise she would make the first page more often. Instead she cams for a room of 100 on a site where the top cams have 10000. If she knew what viewers want to watch one would think she would apply it to herself.

Got to say that I am really surprised that Chaturbate even allowed this to happen? To be quite honest with you I kind of feel it’s like mocking hard working webcam models.

Honestly, I couldn’t really stand more than 5 minutes of it before I got bored of it though. It’s only been about 3 days though since that cartoon character was on. Is she going to return or anything? I just remember it coming across my Twitter feed and clicking on it and being like WTF?

Anyone else just think it's a way to market their writing service? I mean if you check out their contact page it looks like they just want to write articles for people?

The profile was offline so I checked out the blog.
It links to a blog that has pictures of toddlers and babies describes how you should beat your child for stealing (supposed to be satire I guess). Seems it would be unwise to link that directly from an adult site.

I guess I shouldn't be surprised considering what I've seen on Chaturbate in the past.

maybe their writing disservice.

stuff is really pretty bad.

Probably got their foot in the door with Chaturbate's higher-ups. It's a dog eat dog world we live in.
In the interview linked above that's how they say they got approved. Harper approached Chaturbate at AVN, pitched the idea and "left with an rd", as the interviewee called it? He laughed it off and said that's all it takes to get things done with chaturbate is to ask.
