Not gonna lie. I’m kinda looking forward to setting the clocks back an hour. It’s been an exhausting few months. That extra hour of sleep will be well received.

On a similar note, people who tend to be packrats - meaning they have a hard time getting rid of belongings they don’t use or need anymore, like a less destructive form of hoarding - often seem emotionally attached to the items they’re passionate about, in some way. I’ve always collected things...

So do you also mean passion for things like a favorite hobby, or a line of work someone feels strongly about? I don’t know the science behind it, so I may be wrong, but I feel like anything that brings out a passionate response is linked to some kind of emotion.

I had the exact same thing happen to me this summer. Insurance denied two requests from a specialist to get me an MRI for an injury to my back/neck. They said I had to complete a schedule of physical therapy first. I truly didn’t understand the logic. First - the specialist was trying to rule...

Agreed 100%. The way the providers and insurance companies conspire to keep costs high for patients and low for themselves ought to be criminal. I recently got some routine blood work. It’s fully covered by my insurance, but the provider made a clerical error and didn’t enter my insurance info...

    Sleeping on stream

I’ve seen the reason for sleeping bans explained as an implied lack of consent (or inability to consent, since the person is “asleep”). Which makes sense coming from a major site that’s trying not to get themselves into trouble.

Yeah, I’m in the U.S. I don’t think I worded that very well. I agree it’s stayed popular, but over the last maybe 10 years, it feels like it turned into more of a fad.

Great song, but I definitely feel like it flew under the radar for a long time before suddenly getting popular again. Chalk it up to the internet & easy access to just about any song on earth, I suppose?

Things Members Say That Make You Go "WTF?"

This comes across like a guy who reads way too many superhero graphic novels inventing an origin story for his own junk.

Do I continue with this situation?

OP - I can’t tell you what to do, nor do I know what the model’s motivation is. But I can tell you from having read probably hundreds of these types of posts on ACF over many years, that your situation doesn’t seem appreciably different. The good news is if you’re approaching this as a...

I’m choosing to interpret this as you’ve received an offer to join the band Skid Row.

    Brazil is potentially banning twitter.

I’m still hoping against hope for one of the Twitter alternatives to steal away enough market share to make leaving Twitter a viable option for those of us that begrudgingly need to use it. Twitter is just… massively infested. Best way I can sum it up. It is a valuable tool marred by...

I definitely agree on banks being pretty good at stopping fraud these days. I’ve also gotten the occasional fraud notification, sometimes legit and sometimes false alarms. But usually, once they confirm whether it was actually me attempting the transaction, they don’t ask what I was trying to...

I’d have told them the same thing. It’s not really any of their business what you’re buying as long as it’s legal. And if it wasn’t legal, what did they think you were going to do? Confess, just because they asked?

Things Members Say That Make You Go "WTF?"

If you pick your location well, there are many parts of the Northeast that are a good compromise between pleasantly rural (with nice scenery, etc) and close enough to bigger cities that you can go there pretty easily when you want to. Thinking VT, parts of upstate NY or PA, etc. I do agree with...

Model to Viewer Question about Lush Use

I voted that it doesn’t matter to me, but to clarify: it’s not that I don’t care, it’s just that I don’t feel entitled to know the reason. If the model wants to explain why, I’m down to listen. But I wouldn’t ask for a reason and wouldn’t expect it. It would make no difference in whether I kept...

Not without an obvious circumstance that causes it (betrayal, for example). I’m almost the opposite. I wait until I’m thoroughly convinced that I am over something/someone, to the point where the last X amount of time I spent on it was sort of a confirmation phase. If something was enjoyable...

This reads like the member’s only sexual knowledge comes from watching Cinemax After Dark in the 90s.

    No-show to prepaid show

I’ll add to the chorus: I’m on team non-refundable. You did a nice thing letting him reschedule, but in that case he at least gave you a small amount of advance warning that he couldn’t do the first show. Ghosting the second show without warning is definitely no-refund territory.

    What's your astrology?

I don’t know about anything aside from my basic zodiac sign, which is Gemini. The rest sounds interesting, though. Maybe I’ll look it up.
