I'll answer the only couple that apply to me:

I'm doing better in the minimal hours this month than I did the last 2. December/Jan are normally a bit better for me personally, but everyone has different experiences when it comes to "slow times."

For the ladies on here that actually make enough doing camming to invest money into things, what do you invest your money in?

I have an IRA that I contribute the max per year to for tax purposes, and within that I invest in just a few stocks but mainly mutual funds. Also have a 401k set up through my corporation.

For all of the women on here that are currently selling panties, how much are you selling them for?

Sorry I know you said "currently" but I've done it on and off through the years just through MFC. I always priced them like a luxury item to cover the effort that goes into the process. So it was always at least 2000 tokens, up to 3500 tokens (so around $200-300'ish to the customer, then $100-175 for me.) for international, since we have to get crafty with customs and it's more $ to ship. I use priority mail USPS and Stamps.com to create postage labels from home so I never needed to deal with clerks at the post office.

1) cam sites and OF. Never had an issue. Years ago before camming used to sell on Craigslist haha!

2) always a tiny bit slower in November but I upped hours and still made my low goal

3) paying off RV mortgage this coming year and everything else is already paid off. Only debt is house mortgage and RV mortgage. Mr Dani does trading- more swing than just day trading. I finance him lol. You need $25k bankroll to get more options with a lot of the trading.

4) getting a home run vanilla biz running. It's more niche so not answering much.

5) I'm not really reasonable with panties anymore. I frigging hate going to the post office and I use lube a lot which I don't like getting on the pairs unless they're ok with it. Base is 1500tk but I've gone up to 4000tk.

6) no side hustle. I earn enough camming fortunately.

7) I've sold socks I've worked out in and heels. I price them high or same as panties. Mailing anything comes with risks and higher prices weed out a few more shady dudes.

1) 90 % of the panties I've sold have been on Manyvids. I'm fairly active on there, and other than the odd pair I've sold through C4S, I don't think I've ever sold them using any other site (s). I had someone contact me on ebay about it once, but that was not under my SW persona, so I passed on it. It was just a random dude that saw I was selling off some old clothes and unworn lingerie, who happened to ask about old worn panties.

2) I am not slow. Nov, Dec and Jan are usually my busiest months. Slightly slower than usual for me this year, but I'm also not working nearly as much, and I'm coming out of a spell of severe morning sickness on par with hyperemesis gravidarum. I would still say I am busy right now. This has always been my pattern for the last 6 years. I am busy this time of year always. I am sad to learn that it is not the same across the board.

3) I invest in stocks and bonds, and I am saving to buy my first house. I have a lot of decisions and things I need to look into before that, so it's a stressful topic for me, that I like to procrastinate on.

4) More property, more stocks, and bonds. I plan to cam for a long time. I see lots of mature ladies camming, who have plenty of success, and that's my goal also.

5) I never sell panties for less than $40 pure profit for me. Usually, they want a clip also, and I do a deal where it's $100 pure profit for me, after site cut, and postage (for panties and 10 min clip wearing them). It's too expensive for many guys, but it's not my main thing or something that is a huge earner for the time I put in, compared to other projects.

6) I have made enough with camming and clips for the last 4 years to support myself and my child fully, and I sometimes even help out my partner also. First 2 years I worked side gigs in the service and hospitality industry, but primarily because I was lonely and isolated doing SW full time. Which lead to feeling down, and not wanting to put in full time hours.

7) I have never sold socks, but I see models selling socks on MV, and I used to see them sold on ELM (Extra Lunch Money) too. For SM specifically, it's bonus week, bonus and contest weeks tend to always be slower or more challenging. The bonus only happens once or twice a year and so everyone is hopping online to try to get a bonus! 1. Extralunchmoney, Manyvids, and Reddit. I also have panties listed on MFC Share but no bites there.

2. Like @LittleLei said, bonus week. I haven't been on in a while, personally, but bonus/contest times are always tougher to make money because there's more models online, but the same amount of viewers, so the money is stretched thinner. I typically switch up my hours or the type of clothes I wear on cam when I'm in a slump, and often that changes things as viewers react to the "newness"

3. It's rare that I make investable amounts, because I tend to make enough for my bills and log off. When I do have extra money, I throw it at my mountain of medical debt.

4. Really don't plan on quitting, if Nina Hartley can make content in her 70's, so can I. Gilf porn ftw.

5. It varies. I've charged as much as $50 and as little as $15 per pair. I have a panty addiction and have loads and loads of them, and they were different price points. I'll let a Fruit of the Loom pair go for less than a Hanky Panky, for example, because of the cost difference.

6. I've almost always had an office job of some sort, with sex work as my side hustle. I also sell clothes on Poshmark, and plus size clothes sell better than straight size on there, the bigger the more in demand. Size 14 and XL items will sit forever, but size 16-22 and 2x-3x (that's what I have, anyway) get snapped up. I already had the equipment to take decent photos because of camming, and they use Priority shipping, which means that I don't have to pay for shipping supplies because priority mailers/boxes are free. You can even order them in bulk for free on usps.com, which I did and it looks like a post office exploded in my house but I have mailing supplies for forever. I do buy plain mailing envelopes for panties, since regular shipping is more cost effective on such light items.

I dont sell panties this i dont know . I invest in real estate, this days im looking to buy a commercial space to move the studio that i invest in, becouse now i have it in apartament and is pain in the ass becouse of the noise and neighbors .

I solely create content now, but I'll answer what I can.

1. I've sold literally one pair of panties the entire time I've been in the industry and that was to a guy that used to get insanely long private shows with me on MFC. But, I used to get the most panty requests whenever I would stream on MFC. ManyVids also seems like a good option from what I've seen.

2. When I used to cam around the holidays I would do pretty well. I can't comment on how traffic is for camming this year, but I can for clip sites. ManyVids is my main site and my traffic and sales have been normal, if not better than usual since I've been hardcore slacking lately and my income hasn't taken much of a hit from the lack of new content. iWantClips is about the same as usual for me. However, Clips4Sale traffic and sales have been way down for me. I believe that last December was my best month ever on C4S (too lazy to check through my stats to verify), whereas the last two or so months I've seen a drastic decrease in traffic and sales. It could just be because of my lack of content, since last year around this time I was putting out videos on a daily basis, but I dunno. I'm posting a video in my top category later today and that's going to be the real test to see if traffic is really that slow. Also, I have seen an increase in custom requests lately.

3. I don't invest anything. I hoard my money so I can sit atop it like a dragon and feel powerful.

4. I plan on making content and working within the adult industry for as long as possible. I'd like to branch out into more vanilla film making and writing while staying in the adult industry. So, retirement is something I don't really have in mind. Buuuut, I'm pretty good at budgeting and I plan on at the very least saving a bunch of money in a secure account that I won't touch until retirement age. So that way when I'm an old woman I can sit atop an even larger pile of money and feel like an older, wiser and more powerful dragon.

6. I'm lucky enough to make a living just from selling content. If I had to have a side hustle, I'd probably try going back to being a bartender. Although, that's not really an option right now, but yeah.

1. OF and Camsites. Most of others sites have no traffic or are scams.

2. I think this is a case per case situation, November was my best month in 2020, while I saw a lot of models complaining in various groups about things going slowly.

5. 250% of the inital panty cost for basic worn painties. 300-500% for those who want specific stuff.

2) On Streamate I have found this week really slow. With the bonus week more models are online.
5) I don't anymore, but I have sold panties on MFC, Chaturbate and OnlyFans. I wouldn't personally let a pair go for less than $50 in my pocket (keep in mind shipping cost and the work of travelling to the PO)
7) Yes, bras, socks, pantyhose, shoes etc all sell. Just advertise alongside when you promote your panty sales.


I wouldn't say there is a "slow season" exactly. Since all of us are different and have different shows/viewers/placement/sites etc etc. Speculating on that won't be very useful. Anecdotally I have gotten extra tips around xmas and valentines, but not every year.

You can't control the traffic, so just control the things you can. By that I mean consistent schedule, pampering yourself, doing what you can to make your work space as pleasant as possible (I like candles). Sometimes I have special drinks or treats just for cam time.

Camming is a rollercoaster, and the good nights make up for the bad ones.
