Account stolen from owner?

Hello,

I was told by my favorite camgirl (for whom I am a moderator) that a friend of hers who has taken some time off for vacation has seen her account literally slipped away from her hands, and now another girl is streaming with her account, and of course she (the account owner) was not informed of this, nor did she agree to it.
Apparently CB's admin is responsible for this, at least this is what I was told.
Do you know if CB ever does things like that?
I am very surprised such a thing could happen, but I have no reason not to believe in their story.

CB admin will not do this but a studio admin can and will do it, especially if your friends friend is a popular model for that studio

If she does then the studio "owns" the account and can allow any other model from the studio to use it. All they would need to do is "age verify" the model on that account.

All you can do is to tell your friend to tell her friend to get in contact with support and ask them to investigate this.

This was my first thought, too. If she’s a studio model with a good-sized following, the studio might be letting other models use the account in her absence.

Thanks for your insight! I had never heard of studios before How does it work? Who are these studios? Does it mean camgirls are just employees of the studios?
That makes me think of another topic I was wondering about: How much a streamer actually make$. But I may create a specific topic for this.
