As a new cam girl I didn't do my due diligence when it came to research before jumping right in on chaturbate and baring it all. I assumed I would be recorded by members watching and was ok with that, I also assumed that EVENTUALLY there might be images out there on the internet. What I wasn't aware of was that every single chaturbate model is recorded from their very first show by a bot and uploaded all over the internet. I also made the mistake of only googling my chaturbate name to look for content, and finding nothing, felt safe to continue. After 8 days of camming I googled my name + chaturbate... and found images and videos everywhere. Yes, I freaked out. This led me to begin researching how to get it removed, and I soon realized it's not easy, and sometimes even impossible, to do so.

Sending DMCA takedowns personally is a no-no because they send your real name and info to lumen which then appears on the google search page with links to all your content. This is worse than just having images out there! So then I looked into Cam Model Protection. After a bit of research I find that this service gives your real name to lumen as well! Why would I pay someone to send a take down notice and hand over my personal information? I was blown away by this and very thankful I avoided it. And I've seen people saying this is a good service and wanted to warn others, if you do this, your real name will be linked to all your images and vids out there -- which is NO BUENO.

So what did I do? I contacted chaturbate support and asked them what I should do. They sent take downs for me and said to give it 30 days to take effect. I know that not everything will be removed, and there's nothing to do but accept that, it's part of the job. But I wish I'd had all this information before starting, hindsight is 20-20.

You can send dmca yourself just dont use your legal name, most reputable sites will take them down w/ little to no questions. If you have a site like chaturbate willing to send for you then I would definitely just continue to go through them.

Im not 100% sure but I believe it was confirmed that CMP was using aliases and not real legal names.

you can also hire a dmca service that will search for all your pirated shit so you don't have to worry.

If CMP is using aliases that is awesome! I feel bad about this post now, I just saw the complaints requested by CMP and saw that they listed 'on behalf of (legal sounding first and last name)' and assumed they were using real names. I don't know why I didn't expect to find myself on the internet and now am freaked out. I thought being new and no one knowing me would mean no one cared enough to record and upload my vids. I'm either naive or incredibly stupid lol. I love camming it's so much fun and the money is great, but now I feel all weird about it! It's like finding out santa claus isn't real, the gifts are still nice but the magic is gone.

This led me to do a google search of my past cam names and ohhh boy! I literally only cammed for 3 days last summer and then did a couple requested privates this year and holy crap. ha. every single one was uploaded to some weird cam girl video index. I'm not even really that shocked or in a rush to get them down because you would have to specifically search for my old name to get to them but I 100% agree that it's like finding out Santa isn't real!! haha. Oh well, i will probably just pay for a service once I restart, no biggie i guess

CMP does not use real names where are you getting this info??? Ive had them for 3 years with 0 issues. They have been the best for me tbh. They use your alias and so doesn't most DMCA services. Or you can dmca yourself and send your alias info- I've never had an issue using my Alias when it's a site CMP can't get down.

My name is "Bianca" so this is a real name.. so of course they use real sounding names.. most of us use "real" sounding names.

Go ahead and have a little mini freak out- it okay......now breath lol. I think we have all felt a little of what your feeling when we first started camming and started finding our recorded content. There tends to be 2 ways to handle this... you can continue sending dmca's and try having as much taken down as possible or you can embrace it as free advertising, put your cam name/camsite/clipsite in the comments and direct traffic back to you. In the beginning I went the dmca route but after so long in this industry its just overwhelming trying to keep my content down so I just embrace it and try to make the best of it.

The best way to fight these websites is put your content on a website that's free to access, And pays you for people watching your content. Like the Porhub Model Payment Program. If every one did this, no one would pay the vulchers for stolen content.

There is actually quite a bit of mixed opinions amongst models about programs like pornhub. Its seems the general consensus here on acf is a pretty positive one but there are many models that hate it and would never ever sign up for something like that. Im personally a fan, I have had nothing but positive experiences using PH but each person has to make that decision for themselves.

this thread made me curious so i searched and so far the main culprit of my pirated shows seems to be this guy..
http://www.[site name banned*12]/members/34068/

figured i'd post because he has HUNDREDS of videos on there of other cam models too.. i'm sure i'm not the first one to discover this site so i assume there isn't there anything we can do about this? i don't really care that i'm out there for the world to see but obviously i don't want people being able to search my cam name and jerk it to me for free.

Another option is if you have dedicated followers you can trust to post your camsite and the name you cam under in the comments section of any clips they find on sites like Pornhub, etc.
This helps if you decide to use the clips as advertisement.

Was it helpful when I was taking down content? Its been quite a few years since I actively tried to keep my stuff down. Im not really sure if it helps or hurts as far as money goes but I was taking them down bc I didn't want to be floating around on a bunch of dif tube sites, easier for people to come across them etc. but now that Im essentially 99% open about my job I don't give a fuck. The time put into searching and sending DMCA's can be spent doing so many other productive things now.

This works better when your on .a public based site like MFC or CB. For girls like me who work more private based sites unfortunately we don't often create the same friendships/bonds that mfc models/members do plus we can't really talk about other sites while we stream so it makes it hard to talk to our rooms about things like that. Not to mention if you are finding a models vids on PH and she is going to leave them there you should really encourage her to start a model profile that way she is being paid for those views.

Haha yep, just searched my cam name and found it all. Whoop whoop! I think I don't care. As long as it isn't discoverable under my real full name. And even if it is.. fuck it.

I’ve only cammed once since finding all my content and I didnt show my face. It was weird camming with my head cut off and I logged off after an hour and never went back. Then everyday I’d look for my content and stress. Even though chaturbate sent take downs for me nothing was ever taken down, I actually keep appearing on even more sites and now there’s gifs of me -facepalm- lol.

However Im starting to lose the anxiety about it and now I dont search for my content, fk it. I think my biggest regret is that I have kids and I dont want it to affect them. If I didnt have kids Id be camming my ass off and cashin them big pay checks lol!

Im considering streamate bc it seems more private. Anyone have any experience with that site? I really loved camming and the money is crazy!! 1000$ a week is amazing jus sayin xx

WOOOOW! Thank you so much for posting this because I just found every last one of my shows on various sites. -_- WTF. I don't know how I feel about this honestly or what I want to do. Do I try to take it all down? Or should I just leave it? Isn't there a program/site where you can watermark your show with your name or something like that? I can't remember. Sigh. That's disappointing.

Is this the case with mfc too? All public chat gets recorded?
if you do public shows you can almost guarantee somebody is going to record it.

most of us have kids so I don't understand this.. being a sex worker makes for an awesome parent. Your home with your kids, your not doing anything illegal.. There are way more worse things in the world then finding out your parent is providing for you through camming. If you raise them right then they won't think theres anything wrong with it.

This is the problem with society and sex work.. Having kids, not having kids.. regardless your online, you are going to be found out (eventually) and if you make it out to be this horrible thing then yes it will be an issue. I've disowned 2 cousins and an aunt and my sister disown me because I'm a clip maker/fetish model but TBH they do not pay my bills.. My child is the most supportive person of my job.. you know why? because I was honest and did not shame it. If my child can accept it and be proud of me so can't everyone else.

This wasn't specific to you I just want to make it a point to remind girls that most of us do have kids and do this so....

Thanks. Im considering doing non nude (well at least nothing more than my boobs) so that wont be an issue :)
please dont go into it with this mindset, even non nude models are capped. Youd be amazed at how many girls are capped just sitting and chatting in their room, doing boring shit and popping out a tit every now and again. Its pretty much unavoidable and just bc you search your name and don't find something doesn't mean it isn't out there. A lot of my capped vids have titles like "big tit blonde squirts" or some other random shit like that. Im not trying to scare you but it really is the reality of the situation.

There are bots capping and uploading entire feeds. They don't care if the model is nude or not, it's automatic. It doesn't matter what kind of shows you do or don't do, you'll still be capped and uploaded.

Oh thats ok. Im not concerned about me ending up all over the internet. Im more concerned about "down there" ending up all over the internet. At least for now anyway. I didn't realise that there are girls who dont show any pussy. Yeah i know.... prior to two or three weeks ago id never even visited a cam site before.

Im getting educated in all things cam :)

If you show "down there" on cam even in a private/exclusive/group show just expect for it to end up "out there".....

Yeah i had read that somewhere that all privates are recorded and given to the member afterwards (please correct me if im wrong)

Thanks for the advice. I just hope all people considering camming become aware of this. When i was first looking into it i had the idea that no one but the people watching would see it.....

Wow was i wrong! Still doesn't stop me from wanting to give it a go :)
