Dating a cam model

I assume that a cam girl having a relationship with one of their "fans" (for lack of a better word) in the real world is a definate Ain't gunna happen! in most model's books. I don't necessarily mean a sexual relationship, but even just 1 date and see where things go from there. I know of one model hooking up with a guy from MFC and actually getting married! All I'm saying is that things sometimes do happen between Models and their fans.


There are A LOT of crazies out there and MFC is no exception, so you girls DEFINATELY need to be on guard for them. I would consider myself a 3.5 on a 10 point Perv scale. (5 being the avg MFC perv, 10 being serial killer stalker material) I don't ask every model that I like if they would like to meet, but I have asked a few(less than 5). Believe it or not, a MFC model recently said YES to a date with me this summer. Not a maybe, not a we'll see, a YES! I'm not going to reveal who she is for obvious reasons. I haven't flat out asked her why she agreed to a date with me yet, for fear of sounding like a total zero confidance d-bag so I'm curious to....under what circumstances would a model give one of us a chance to meet them in the real world?

And it would definitely depend on the kind of humor/conversation we have inside and outside of MFC.

I am the same way as Amber, I think it all depends on the person and the interaction I would have with them off of MFC. You never know now a days. I know not all people are crazies, but I believe you always have to think the worst. I don't think meeting someone would totally be about out, but it would take a fuckton of a lot for me to agree and actually do it.

I think I would meet someone off of MFC if all the criteria all these girls mentioned was already met AND my boyfriend came with me! Hahahaha... that's the funny part. I would only meet people off MFC for friends or maybe some sexual adventures with my boyfriend. If I was single, I don't think I would ever use MFC as a tool to meet people, especially for dating. I might be open to the idea but I really just don't know if I ever would actually do it... but that's mainly because I am taken right now and it's hard for me to imagine otherwise. I love to meet new people and make friends on MFC but when I go on there, even if I was single, it wouldn't be for me to find a date I would go on PlentyofFish.com or something, lol. But you never know... you might just find what you are looking for when you least expect it!

I feel like generally you can get a fairly good feel of how someone is if you see them on cam a lot and talk to them A LOT but I would still take many necessary precautions before meeting someone who met me on MFC. A lot of men seem to think we all escort and things like that too... So if I was to meet someone I met on the internet, I would rather meet someone off of a dating site than a cam site.

One thing that all women desire, especially in this circumstance, is security and it's pretty much what it boils down to. I wouldn't be surprised if she has someone pull "overwatch" during the date. That is to say have someone a few tables over as a backup in case things get ugly given a sign to come in for the rescue, like putting the napkin in the glass, etc. If a woman isn't secure, she isn't relaxed, and won't have fun. If there are two or more points of interest during the date, take neutral transportation (ie cab, not a personal vehicle).

This situation is different than most, to a degree. Let her feel safe and then let things go from there. My advice for a first date of this sort is don't be physically flirtatious (ie hands to yourself at all times). If there is to be a parting hug or smooch on the cheek, let her initiate it.

When you two are being seated (assuming at a restaurant), be a gentleman and pull the chair for her and help her be seated, open doors, all that good stuff.

Finally, we all know that MFC models are filthy rich, so make damn sure she picks up the tab. :whistle:

But I am just now agreeing to seeing people that I met on the internet. Then again, these people were from about 9-12 years ago. Then again, I'm an adult now and that's a big difference. But still my point is that if I did meet up with someone here, it would be because they are my friend, and one of the best and most trusted ones at that.

Even then, I'd have to chat and hang out with them for a year or two.


Besides, on top of it all, I'm an internet person.

I don't know if I could do it just because of that.

The look out would probably be smart if a model did agree to this, you never know. I have met people from neighboring high schools when I was in high school like 4 years ago, but I guess that is kinda different.

A lot of people take security for granted and are too trusting of people in general. My guess is if the model agreed to a public meeting, she has something of that nature in place.

I recall in my younger days, a good female friend would have me go on a few double dates with her new boyfriends a couple times for her to feel things out and learn trust. Was nice to also be a third party and pick up on things or mannerisms that alerted me to trouble. Sometimes the best optimism is from afar.

I'm SO paranoid, I am so freaked out about about like, what amber said about getting my limbs cut off and put in a freezer...but my fears are way more scary and detailed. Like, I'm afraid of being tortured with various objects for hours before they rape and kill me. It would have to be a really special situation, such as, I'd have to have known and talked to them for months if not years before I met them. Guys always ask me out on MFC, as I'm sure most models are. I usually get the impression that they assumes I'm a prostitute aswell as a cam model. About being friends with other models..... I am more worried about that than she is! I've told her all the models I am friends with and she reassures me that she doesn't care at this juncture. Should things between us get serious, I think it would be MY decision to say goodbye to all of my other faves rather than her demanding it from me.

About the bodyguard date..... I have already told her that I would be fine if she wanted to meet in a public place, even if she invited other people along. But judging by where she want's to go, I think she is more interrested in a 1 on 1 thing. Maybe I'll end up being the one with my arms and legs chopped off :icon-eek:
