I've noticed some models have taken to reddit for self promotion. Just as an example their a model with over 1 a million profile views. And they did it by just posting a few pictures to different adult sub reedits, like: r/asstastic, r/rearpussy, r/gonemild, r/buttplug, r/PAWG, r/rearpussy, r/tightdresses/, r/pelfie/, r/ShinyPorn, r/funsized, r/lingerie, extra. Their regularly getting like 1,000 to 6,000 views per photo.

There does seem to be some rules. Like allot of the time subreddits may require verification by photo. (Much like ACF) And som reddits don't let you promote. So on those you can post a sexy picture, but you have to let people click back on your profile to learn about your adult cam and adult video clip services.

Where on our reddit profile page does it show how many views we've had? I don't see it. I've been on reddit for 8 years, not sure if it's ever really brought me more than a follower or two to my cam pages. https://www.reddit.com/user/AmberCutie/ I don't promote very aggressively there, though.

Honestly since Reddit shut down sex sells I doubt I would use it I mean you cant watermark or direct people to your clip stores. If Sesta/fosta didn't happen I would probably learn it but I have no interest.

Reddit didn't shutdown r/sexsells.

Reddit didn't shutdown r/sexsells.

They have policed it and new enforcement makes it impossible to use since Fosta/Sesta so yeah essentially it is shut down...

Depends what subreddit you're posting in. I use watermarks and post links in my own sub on most of my submissions, and once in a while I'll mention it in /r/curvy or others that I'm posted in by other users. One of the frequent uploaders of my clips leaves my watermarks in for credit. I appreciate that!

At one time
https://www.reddit.com/user/me/about/traffic
But it looks like they've taken that away.

Now the best indicators are probable how many people are reading your subreddit. Post karma might also give you an idea on views.

I would describe promoting on reddit as 'product placement'. It's not 'tv commercial'. It's more like a car placement in a movie. Your not getting told 45 miles to the gallon. Or go to the dealer for a great deal today. The car is just in the movie. The viewer has to be interested, and take initiative to find out more.

Just as an example
NSFW Here's mine. What do you think? over in /r/pussy
The photo doesn't scream I'm an adult model.
Instead the photo looks like an authentic selfy taken on a hotel bed.
It's up to the viewer to click on her profile to find out she has videos on manyvids.

Another example
NSFW In nothing but a flannel in /r/AsiansGoneWild
You have to click on her profile, goto her reddit, to find out she has a subscription blog.

If your not sure what's going to work for a sub reddit, just look at the top post in the sub reddit.

FYI the best times to post seem to be in the evenings. (USA time zones) Especially on the weekends.
