no impact on position, I do notice when its hidden and it raises my distrust slightly but by itself it doesn't cause me not to tip.

It's a double-edged sword. Hiding it might make people wonder why. One of my favorite models (who is beautiful, personable and has a lovely personality) has 179 thumbs up and 35 thumbs down, which I find disgraceful. The 35 thumbs down must be from trolls who got silenced by her mods. So long as your percentage is over 80% it shouldn't matter too much.
