First of all, thanks to everyone that answers questions in here. (I answer too but just though y'all deserved thanks! :D )

Wondering if anyone knows a good website to link members to so they can subscribe to an e-mail list?
I don't want to tediously attempt to personally collect every members e-mail - I think having an email list link on a cam site profile would be awesome.

I'm not sure what you mean? Would you'd like to have a website with a subscription option?

Thanks @Miss_Lollipop !

@Luckyfoxxy - I'd like to collect people's e-mails and then e-mail them weekly. Like if you land on a food blog or something it's like.... subscribe to my e-mail list! The regular e-mails remind people you exist - it's for marketing.

I'm using adultmembersites.com, and currently their e-mail list feature only works UNTIL you launch your site and then after that it only works for people who have signed up to be a member, but I don't want my list limited to that.

A very easy one is to use google forms. You already have free access to that if you have a camming gmail address. But be aware gmail limits the number of emails you can send to about 500 per day. Beyond that it thinks you're a spammer. So, if the list gets long you won't be able to email everyone in a single day. You could still create groups in your contact list for 500 people each and mail one group per day over the week.

I'm not sure, but I don't think gmail will cause problems with just using their forms for email with camming. I know they haven't liked camming with google wallet.

Otherwise, like @Miss_Lollipop mentioned, MailChimp's free plan allows for up to 2000 subscribers and 12,000 emails a month.

Ahh yeah, this is why I didn't want to make a site through AdultMembers - lack of control.

I'm not a model (really, who could tell ? :)), however I do know one important fact about e-mails and marketing. Unlike toggling and browsing a social media feed that resembles a fridge in a bachelor's apartment (you open it, see that there's nothing special in there and go somewhere else), when an e-mail is read, it takes an actual action from your recipient. Basic robust and always relevant if you ask me. It's still one of the best ways to stay in contact with your crowds.
This is form my experience with Vanilla crowds, since I'm still a novice here, it might apply differently in our context.

I went with Mailchimp, thanks everyone :)
I believe MailChimp doesn't allow pornographic content. I used to use them and they are great, but I discovered this upon starting my latest mailing list.

Lemme look through the one I went with and double-check that it's cool with porn. The chances of getting caught are probably very low, but it would suck to lose the list after accumulating some members.

Edited to add content policy link: https://mailchimp.com/legal/acceptable_use/

Edited (again): I use Tribulant, which is a Wordpress plugin. There's a free version that limits you to one list, and a premium that lets you have multiple with more features, etc. I'm currently using the free one. I haven't been very active on it, but it works well so far, and I can't find anything about prohibited content.

With Tribulant, whose mail server is actually sending out the emails?

There is a really important point here people need to understand about mailing list services like MailChimp. The real reason these services have value is because they keep their hard bounce delivery rates extremely low. Why does that matter? Because ISPs will start to refuse email from your server based on your success rate in sending out emails!!! The problems with spam are so severe, that some ISPs will not tolerate even a slight elevation in your hard bounce rate above would be considered normal for a business user. MailChimp in particular has the really nice feature that once a user closes their email account, they will automatically delete that user from your list. That keeps your bounce rates low over time. Competitors like Constant Contact rely on you to do that work for them, and if you do not then the success rate for your list goes down over time.

There is a real risk if you send out your mailing lists from your own servers that you will run into anti-spam issues that greatly affect your ability to reach your customers. If you are a marketing and Internet guru and you understand all of what is required to run your own mail delivery service, more power to you.

Unfortunately, MailChimp is not adult friendly, so you run the risk that one day you wake up and they closed your account. I have yet to find a good adult-friendly mailing list service. If you do find one, be sure to look at their hard and soft bounce rates and compare those to industry standards and vendors like MailChimp! Those numbers are actually what you are paying them money to keep low. An adult-friendly service is particularly likely to have high bounce rates because some of the vendors who mail out to lists for adult services are not good actors and are using stolen lists.

Thank you @Fatquack

@Miss_Lollipop - how long have you been using Mail Chimp without adult rule violation issues? Any warnings from them etc? Do you link any adult sites / twitter in the area where they intially ask for your website or twitter?
