I've become worried about how facial recognition will change our profession. I don't cam that often, but there have been one or two occasions where I have shown my face on now deleted accounts. What's the change 10 years down the line somebody will discover me? Especially if I try to minimize my presence? I know that there are lots of crawlers online these days.

Honestly with the technology available RIGHT now, probably highly likely someone will find you. That's kind of the risk you have to be okay with in this line of work, unfortunately.

You can minimize it with wigs, makeup, and keeping your cam area unrecognizable from the rest of your home. But it will always be there.

Cam in Juggalo makeup!

I'm mostly joking, but it fools facial recognition systems. Some of them can't even recognize it as a face, let alone your face.

https://cvdazzle.com/ - these are some pretty freaking cool looks that facial recognition can't get around.
There are also masks (like, really cool high-fashion type ones) that you can get which facial recognition systems can't handle.

If you are afraid of people finding out and unable to handle to outcome whatever it maybe, don't cam.

People get outed without face tech.

This technology will only get more accurate. New techs may end up being used on older videos.
And there are some governments using using face tech.

Some one could in theory load up a database of porn stars faces, drive around hoping to get a hit.

Long as your not putting your photos out there on social media, under your real name, there really isn't anything for an individual to compare your videos to. But if say a friend posts a photo, then maybe they could find that photo. But that could happen even without face tech.

if u keep camming there's a huge risk to be recognized (today or ten years time) You should stop doing it and luckily nobody will find your latest shows.

It’s something you have to be ok with if you want to cam. I’m not happy about it, but it is a known risk. Luckily, the only ones I really care about knowing aren’t tech savvy and are highly religious. Also they’re older so the likelihood for me being outed is smaller. People finding out is just part of the risk you take while camming. If you aren’t ok with it, get out now.

I had the same worries when I first started as well, specifically about facial recognition technology. Unfortunately like everyone else has said, there's no way around the potential of being recognized/found out. Lots of broadcasts end up recorded by bots and end up elsewhere on the internet, so even if you delete your account it could still be out there somewhere.

I didn't know there were any ways to throw off/fool those kinds of systems at all, crazy!
