Ever since I joined streamate I noticed that they're a lot of fake accounts that just run prerecorded content and I think the people that run streamate are behind it. One model AvenaHD is actually the pornstar Teanna Trump and the account has been around since i joined 2 years ago and teanna just recently got out of jail and the account was running the whole time she was locked up. Some other of the fake accounts feature pornstars and I'm wondering if they made a deal with streamate to use their prerecorded clips or is this something that's going on without their consent. I noticed a account that was running clips of celeste star but that account disappeared. These are some of the accounts that I'm talking about Genevieve69 DoubleTrouble22, TiannaAndAJ, HarleyBae, SimoneCam, HappyBlitt, NessyOno there are a lot more but I'm not going to put them all. So just wondering is it common knowledge in the camming community that this is going on or what??

... and the bigger picture is a lot more "scary" .
I have to admit, I didn't heard about this particular method used by Streamate and I don't find it so... "to be investigated" but from public discussions some can be amazed of what is going on behind the adult industry scenes ... of course you have to be skeptic and "see with your own eyes" but the fact remains as it is... adult camming (backed up by adult industry) is both a beautiful activity and a very dirty one in the same time.

This is common knowledge and old news, unfortunately. Streamate does some shady shit with regards to recorded feeds. They've been reported multiple times and the best guess is that SM is aware of it but doesn't care. Not a lot to be done.
The average camgirl has zero to do with this. Blame the site, not the performers who use it. No idea whether Teanna et al are aware or agreed to it but I imagine it was embedded in a contract or something. Most feeds are legit, the fakes are easily spotted. Don't let this tarnish your view of camgirls as a whole. The adult industry is the Wild West still, for better or worse.

Yeah, if you do a search you'll find old threads about this topic. It's easy to spot a recorded feed.

There are a lot, I've made it almost an obsession to look for them. The worst part to me is they say they like C2C. I did this a couple of times till I figured it out. Who is at the the receiving end of my cam? A call center in India?
