Hi everyone, I'm new to the industry and I was wondering something. Firstly my experience is from a trans perspective but this is definitely something non-trans models can chime in on. Sorry for the incoming spiel.

So as was previously stated I'm a trans woman. I just started camming and for the most part I kinda dig it. I haven't made a whole lot yet but honestly I'm just trying to build a following while my new model status is in place. I get good traffic and my interaction rate is going up.

This brings me to my 2 main problems, I'm not into men( my profile says I'm bi which I'm not, that's a whole other discussion) and I'm not physically interacting with them. I generally specialize in BDSM and Femdom oriented stuff and generally I do pretty ok with that, in real space. Unfortunately since I'm under the "trans girl" heading most of my customers are there for things that aren't necessarily in my field of experties. So I've had to change up my tactics slightly.

This isn't a major problem as I'm a switch. The problem comes in when I have to pretend I'm attracted to them. My moan game is on point and I'm great at getting them in the mood. But it's difficult to make like you think they're hot when you have a visual indicator of attraction (or lack thereof) attached to your crotch. They always ask me my size etc etc and while I never lie about it I have to throw in the caveat that they have to really turn me on to reach full size. (Which they will never do).

It's even harder when most of them don't opt for cam 2 cam so I'm effectively working blind. I can manage to get it up but then they want me to get off and that's when things get really difficult. Plus I'm not sure exactly how I'm supposed to do some of the things they want when I'm obviously not physically in front of them. My best bet most of the time is that they finish before it becomes apparent what I'm doing.

How do you folks deal with this, especially if you're interacting with a paying customer who's not in your range of attraction? Do you end up with a lot of disappointed customers because of this? Should I just say on my profile what my actual sexuality is?

I can't answer from a trans perspective, but I can give you one tip. First of all though, please don't do anything on cam that you are not comfortable with.

One thing that might help turn you on is to have a porn video playing that only you can see (out of the customers sight).

Have you thought about presenting yourself strictly as a domme instead of vanilla/switch? Then you could leverage not being attracted to men as part of the persona. It may take a bit longer to find your crowd when you're more specialized like that but success usually comes more easily when you're comfortable.

I definitely don't which is why anal is definitely off the table. What I do is more strolling than anything. Porn video probably won't be doable I only have one screen available at the moment and my phone won't work.

Honestly that's what I'd been doing out of the gate. It scared too many Unfortunately a lot of visitors don't read, and anytime they are there for it it's specifically for pegging which makes me cringe but it's a big seller. Though something you mentioned I hadn't tried and that's being overt about my lack of attraction to men.

With regard to attraction... IRL I'm not attracted to men (which make up 95% of the non-model users that enter my cam room) but I present myself as heteroflexible online. If someone's nice and willing to pay I don't care what age (18+ only obviously), race or gender they are. I'll happily flirt and get naked for them. The only time I see them is if they pay for C2C. To get visually turned on I watch other cams anonymously or porn, although sometimes I'm just too tired or not in the mood so it can be challenging to get hard and especially to cum on demand.

Mostly what I end up doing is taking my vibrator and using it in between visitors. My meds and stamina pretty much guarantee it takes forever for me to get off. But as previously stated as long as I outlast the customer it almost doesn't matter. Yesterday got difficult when I ran into someone who didn't get off in 3 minutes, sure the pay was alright but I nearly went hoarse with the amount of moaning he wanted plus the position changes. I thankfully haven't gotten any anal requests lately.

I'm not a model so feel free to ignore what I say but I agree with everyone else

I can only imagine how draining it is to have to pretend and do things you would rather not, that seems like it would burn you out on the industry pretty quick; ultimately you might make a little more now but if it makes you want to quit you're losing all future earning potential

Better to be yourself, or the version of you you're happy to show and only do what you're comfortable with

Everyone's biggest selling point is no one else is them, no on else can offer you

This is true and I think perhaps my issue is also inexperience in this sphere. I'm used to applying things IRL and the medium change has hurdles I hadn't anticipated.

Lucky for me the only audio on my stream is music so I don't have to make any sound. I've never lived alone so I've always had to be quiet while doing anything sexual. No way I could fake it on cam.
It's a bit difficult when I talk to dozens of customers per session so my voice gets strained. My WPM are just not that swift when talking to multiple people. And a lot of my situation is also fighting against preconceived notions that trans girl= wants men to fuck her. I do say that I'm not that stereotype but many ignore it anyway. And after a couple hours I don't want to close out the day empty handed. Thankfully it's not my main source of income and I do enjoy it more than my main job, but I've definitely gotta alter my tactics for the long haul.

Yes just be honest please. So not mislead anyone. CB is the most accepting place in the world. Just be honest and yourself people will understand you. If you want to play a role, play a role but don’t lie or mislead to get tokens.
