Is this just a setting some where or is it like a bot or extension? As soon as you subscribe to them it just instantly subscribes back.

It's a setting I have in mine. Edit profile > fans and following > Auto follow back for the duration of subscription
Ah found it thank you! However the trick to being able to send them DM spam is still following them after their subscription. This is just during their subscription.

I had it on at one point, took me forever to work out where it was again to turn it back off, so i knew there was a setting for it, just couldnt remember where
ahhh. that’s actually great they did that. we’ve had conversations here about how fans were super annoyed about it.
fans were super annoyed at it not unfollowing after a sub ends? I think i've misunderstood something, I do not know a lot about OF.
(a model) Following after a fan’s sub has ended allowed the model to continue to spam their DMs. Most people said that when they stopped subscribing they wanted the DMs to stop as well.
