Follow other models, celebrities you like, pages about hobbies you have. Interact frequently.

Post frequently - talk about your day, your pets if you have any, post selfies and pictures of what you're up or what your pets are doing, and sprinkle in ads for content. Post when you're going online, with a link and a pic.

Avoid overusing hash tags, or tagging lots of accounts in posts - this looks spammy to followers, and they'll be less likely to click on it. The general recommendation is to limit hashtags to 2-3 per post.

While promotor accounts will get you a lot of interaction, you're not going to see a lot of quality followers from them. If you're looking for pure follower count, it may work, but if you want followers who are interested in purchasing from you, they're not going to do much. Many promotor accounts are also scummy and expect free shit in exchange for promo.

Retweet groups can be helpful for both followers and interaction. Just make sure to spread out your rt's, because having a big chunk of other people's ads on your timeline all at once can look spammy to followers, or simply annoy them when they're scrolling their timeline and there's just this big chunk of 50 rt's they have to scroll past before getting to anything else.

Above all, remember that follower count =/= income. A large chunk of anyone's followers are going to be people following for the free content we use as promotion, and are never going to spend. There are definitely people on Twitter looking for content to purchase. By and large, the best benefit of Twitter is networking with other models. Whether you're looking for folks to film with or just friends, Twitter is a great resource to make sex worker buddies.

RT Twitter dms groups. I used to be in a lot, and they helped! But after a Twitter hiatus, I don't know of any or I would totally add you to a few. I recommend to avoid the ones where they make you RT everyone or get kicked.

I have asked to be added several times, but no one has yet.

So if anyone in any Twitter RT groups I'd love to be in.

I added you to a new one made for ACF girls but if you’d like to be added to more let me know

These days, it's important to try to avoid getting a search suggestion ban (commonly called a shadow ban) which will stall your growth because it makes you harder to find.
If that happens, can it be fixed or undone? If so, how? Thanks.

Something I've noticed a LOT lately, and so have other models that I interact with - posting pics/vids without a sexual caption or links are far more likely to get interactions than posts with links or a sexy caption. I tend to post my photos with some emojis or something, and then add a reply to that post with my links. + my pinned tweet has all of my links in it.

If models want to post sensitive media, it is unavoidable, IMO.

The sacrifice we’d have to make to the content we post, again IMO, is not worth trying to avoid the search restriction. Models should mark their media as sensitive (otherwise face a possible complete ban from twitter) which automatically restricts the visibility of your account.

Also a “shadowban” on Twitter is a different thing.

What's a "shadow ban"?
You don't show up in searches, rarely on timelines, sometimes replies/messages you send aren't seen by the person you sent them to, because they just don't show up, basically it cuts you off from others on the platform and the only way they can see your stuff is with a direct link.

Why not just ban you full stop? Just seems a bit weird to chuck a ban like that on someone instead of banning them altogether. In theory, there is no difference by the sounds of it?

Saffron is on the money.

I'd advise against RT groups and promoters though. It's not really organic growth, and it's really not the kind of traffic you want anyway. You're more likely to get bot followers than actual people. The key here is that replies and likes are infinitely more important than follower count.

Just focus on posting content regularly and engaging with followers.

I think most people don't realize that they're shadow banned and overall it makes for less headaches for support, but this is just a guess as to the reasoning behind it.

Think I've seen it in effect for a model (and yeah this is another one of my rants about people not having a frickin clue). Another account was doing a majority of the promo for a model I know, uses lots of hashtags. When you click the hashtags, none of the posts show up despite it saying X number of posts. There's a warning about content not meeting Instagrams guidelines or something, but no content. Maaaybe it's different for registered users, but I don't know for sure. My other thought is that the other instagram account has bought followers, uses too much rehashed content, or relies on bots.

The moral of the story is, don't let yourself get in this position in the first place. Bans like this can reduce your visibility quite a bit. Don't risk it. The mantra in the old days was content is king. Post good content and people will find and interact with you.

Although I guess I should also say...getting some of my links posted to Freeones back in the day was fucking huge for my site's growth. (The traffic isn't perfect, but it did convert very well for me) If there are reputable directory/listing sites for camgirls then those may be an option. Some of you girls here might have better feedback than I do in that regard.

No, those empty hashtags show up for everyone. Usually they're connected to something NSFW, I believe even “lesbian” is gone now because of porn spam bots filling it with crap. So while you can search it up, no posts will show.

I agree about RT groups, especially because you end up having your timeline full of other people's spam. And you don't want that. But SOME promoters are actually good. You need to choose wisely. I had (and still have) good results from one of them in Financial Domination, and it surely helped to put my twits in front of a larger audience. Again, there are good and bad promoters...actually...LOTS of bad ones :)

Other than this...as many others said: post interesting content. And from a camgirl point of view, that often is teasing pictures or short videos...but don't limit to that. Use twitter for anything that comes to your mind really, people will appreciate the "personal" touch of your timeline and follow you.

I know I am late, but maybe someone can use the info anyway. I have a trick where I go on other pages that are similar to mine and like all the comments of the guys. I have acquired 35 followers in the last couple of days doing this. It works. I follow no one unless I actually like their page.

Can we see your twitter account then, I'd love to see how many followers you have? Please link us, in this thread.

So you are trying to take away other model's members? Are you friends with these other models? Do they know you do this?

They choose if they want to follow me or not. I don't contact them, they choose. Twitter has made it next to impossible to make a following with shadowbans and algorithms. If you have a idea that works 100%, I'm open to the suggestion. I can like comments I like, nothing wrong with that.

That's not true at all, do an honest day's work, and your followers will go up. I know, novel idea right?

At the moment I have 208 followers, was at 160ish the other day. Had this account since September and it hasn't grown until now. Doing it the "right way" doesn't work for everybody, in my opinion nothing wrong with liking comments and letting people choose. Writing comments on other model's pages as suggested is no different imo.

Okay I can see I have upset a few people. I promise to stop. Thank you for teaching me the right way.
