How do you know your getting senile

I couldn't find my excavator this morning because I left it out in the woods where I couldn't see it. Then I kept calling the dog and she wouldn't come. She was soundly sleeping on my bed. She may be smarter then me.

Can't tell if this is an actual question or just a comment you were making, but in case it is a real question - Doesn't sound like a problem really. Even young people forget things regularly- look how often kids forget their homework, lose their things, etc.

Losing your keys is not really a sign of senility. Forgetting what your keys are for or forgetting what they are called - then you should see a doctor ASAP.
