is the location filter not working?

i turned on the filter to not show south american models and i still see a ton of models who have "medellin, colombia" listed as their location.

I believe the location associated with an account has to do with the location where they made their account, or where their VPN put them on the map when they made their account. Changing the location it settings after doesn't do anything as far as I can tell.

It's what I have found too. The location entry in the bio can apparently have any text you want, like in user bios/profiles.
Another search and filtering feature on CB that is of little or no help ...
