Hello fellow perverts. This is my first post and sad it can't be one that's on a brighter note. So I recently decided to give up on playing with cam models completely and wanted to close my cam member account. I don't want to mention the site though. I asked support to close my account since a porn site automatically created a cam account for me when i registered for 1 month. When I told the support agent this he asked "Are you claiming fraud?" In my head I'm thinking "wtf is this guy's deal?" I told the man "No I am not claiming fraud" and went on to criticize his attitude and disconnected chat. He closed my account but I wanted it terminated. Oddly enough, I talked to a second agent and he says my account is under investigation for fraud blah blah local authorities blah blah. It gets weirder. I get two refunds for purchases I made back in June/July and when I get on the actual phone to ask wtf is going I get met with snarky and *****ey support agents saying "it's always the same with you guys...not paying your bills..." I tell him "I have no bills to pay dummy and then he tells me he's gonna go ahead and disconnect chat. After meeting with a second brand of douche, I finally get in touch with a real person who told me that nothing would happen to me and that no investigation would be carried out. Still not satisfied, I asked him what the deal was with the two refunds and he told me he can't do anything about it but not to worry about it and it's just policy when people close their account. So wtf.....what do I do people? Am I in deep shit? They were accusing me of fraud for asking to close my account. How does that even make sense? And what on earth do I do with the refund? I can't imagine a company just spitting out refunds like that 0_o. I only use my own financial information to pay for stuff and I had no outstanding balances AT ALL. Sorry for the long post but I'm kinda at a loss for what I should do.

Can you perhaps give us a timeline of how this occurred? It doesn't really make sense, but we're not getting a very clear, coherent version of events. Did you request the refunds, did you request the services that the refunds were for? Please explain it to us as if we weren't looking over your shoulder the entire time. Thanks!

It sounds like you don't need to do anything. Just stop going to the site.

Why do they even need to close your account? If you aren't visiting the site it achieves the same thing

to sum it up I asked for my account to be closed, they did but they also secretly labeled me for fraud because apparently I was claiming fraudulent charges even though I never mentioned anything relating to that. No, I never asked for any refund whatsoever and trust me, I'm just as confused as any of you guys. In the course of one chat with a support agent I was labeled for fraud, inside 30 seconds no less. I talked to some guy on the phone who said there would be no investigation and that everything was okay. I'm not convinced since I was given two very strange refunds for sessions I had back in June/July. That just doesn't seem kosher to me.

Monitor your credit card statements.

Call up the number on the back of your credit cards and tell them you want to know if there have been any charge backs on your account.

Get a free credit report now and look through for any negative aspects. You should also be doing that every 4 months anyway. It's free once per year from each of the 3 credit reporting agencies. So stagger them all year long continuously.

If all those are fine, then forget the site. Sounds like you had an idiot blowhard and it was all internal memo shit. Nothing had been actually done on it.

If you do find something then fight it with your credit card companies, they will actually investigate it if there was some fraud going on you didn't know about. Also file a complaint with the credit reporting agencies. Any negative rating on those you can contest. Then the company that reported that has 30 days to provide proof of the negative action to that agency, or you can request that be taken off your credit report.

That is a bit of relief but I'm still nervous about the refund. Why did they even send them to me? And they absolutely refuse to take it back with one operator even going "we don't want your money" before hanging up.

The sad thing is that those refunds you didn't even want will likely be taken from the models earnings, and possibly get her banned if the site is chaturbate.

Naming the site could help us get you real help. Chaturbate for example has a rep here who is like the big boss, and comes around to help with the shit show that is the sites support from time to time.
Without knowing the site, it's hard for us to help you
