From what I've seen perusing CB time to time, there are many less couple cams, and they often don't have as many viewers. B/G content tends to be more popular, and possibly more successful, as one-off videos rather than a way of streaming.
Member perspective: Not sure if others share my viewpoint, but I avoid the couple rooms and stick to the solo women only.
- Couple rooms are often more expensive. (I'm arguably a low tier spending whale at this point and could afford it, but it doesn't often feel as 'worth it')
- Some of the intimacy that you'd get in a solo room feels a bit off in a couple room imo. Since there are multiple people, it doesn't feel as personal.
- Maybe this is just me, but being straight, I don't particularly want to see a dude naked on cam. You could argue "but most porn is like that," but the majority of traditional has the focus way off the guy (and you can skip the parts otherwise), and there isn't the personal interaction of a cam. With a couple on cam, there is some level of intimacy/interaction that will inevitably happen with the dude, and that just feels sort of off to me.
Likewise, for those people on CB going for the GFE, it won't work as well since by default, there is a couple.
Again, different folks, different strokes (no pun intended), but maybe that gives a touch of insight into a member's view.
