Phantom 4 from DJI

Really good dedicated HD camera they built themselves since GoPro has been resting on its laurels. Crystal clear video even from a mile away. Perfect hover over a pinpoint location. Tracking moving objects (could use some work there though). All around one of the best for adding in aerial photography video clips.

  • Avoid obstacles automatically.
  • Track moving subjects automatically using ActiveTrack.
  • TapFly lets you fly with a tap of the finger.
  • Smart Return Home allows the Phantom to avoid obstacles as it returns home.
  • 28 minute maximum flight time, maximum control range of 3.1mi (5km).
  • Maximum speed of 44mph (72kmh).
  • Integrated gimbal for greater camera stability and smoother footage.
  • Optimized Vision Positioning System raises positioning altitude up to 10 meters.

Video guy is a bit 'too' upbeat for my taste, but it's still a spiffy review.

At least he refrained from using loud, generic, 80s-ish rock guitar music in the background, something that plagues too many videos made by guys and having as the topic moving vehicles of various types.

He needs more bees.

I am impressed with how stable the video is though, it is like something you would expect out of high end gear to my eyes. If I had anything to video I would probably get one.
