Hello, everyone. I've been posting a lot of free content on reddit to bring people to my OnlyFans.

This is getting me a lotta followers quickly. However, many of them are not willing to buy subscriptions (as expected). Could we still monetize our social media followers in other ways such as affiliate marketing, merch, Pay per click? Although many people are strong on not paying for porn, they'll still eventually click ads and buy products that appeal to them. As we know our audiences very well, this could turn into some extra money. Is this worth the ammount of people who will stop following because of running ads?

Cheers and hope this idea makes everyone profit $$$ more.

Since I am on a break from camming I figured I could try and find alternative venues to promote my Onlyfans. One venue many models recommend is Reddit, I even read someone claim they are making 60 signups PER DAY from reddit only, so I decided to give it a try.

Because I was never too active on reddit i dont have enough karma to post to the big subreddits, they have a bunch of requisites you need to meet to be "verified" and what I was doing was trying to build enough karma by participating in medium sized subreddits.

The second caveat is because I am a softcore model and my Onlyfans is super mild, I don't post any nudity publicly.. on social media or otherwise. The strategy I had in mind was to post pictures that showed that I had assets without showing said assets and hoping they would subscribe from my reddit profile out of curiosity to see me naked. This is a strategy that because of my body type and general vibe has worked great for me in the past.

My experience so far has been disheartening. While I do get TONS of likes on my clothed pictures, even posting clothed pics to porny subreddits... I haven't had a single signup on OF from reddit. I am wondering if it is just me, if reddit is not as big a deal as people claim, or if maybe it has to do with my strategy, my body type, or maybe reddit requires nudity to work? Here are some examples of my popular posts...

Captura de pantalla 2020-10-14 a las 0.10.11.pngCaptura de pantalla 2020-10-14 a las 0.10.34.pngCaptura de pantalla 2020-10-14 a las 0.10.23.png

I get it, it isn't 1000+ upvotes but all of them hit the "hot" status so they get displayed to everyone who follows that specific subreddit which is a ton of exposure. Why haven't I gotten a single signup is puzzling.
Anyone has any insight?

How many posts per day are you making? I do it on 30+ subreddits with 3~4 different pics (takes like an hour) pretty much every day, would do more if I were female (since there are much more subreddits to post on). I'd say with confidence that at least 50% of my 400 subs came from Reddit.

I sometimes check other models' profiles to see where they are posting and most of them do 5~6 posts per day max. I don't really see why take it easy since it's free and quick to spam a lot of subreddits (at least if you're on a desktop)

You can defiantly do affiliate marketing through social media platforms like twitter, the main thing is going to be finding a product / service that meshes well with your audience. You're not just limited to adult stuff you just have to find what a lot of your followers have in common and then look for those types of affiliate programs. I would stay away from amazon associates unless you have a shit ton of traffic you can push daily though, cookies only last for 24 hours and it's last cookie wins, and the commissions are low, like 2-4% of a purchase. The main thing is going to be finding a product(s) that fits well with your audience.

Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but it's anything but quick for me. reddit makes me wait 9 minutes between posting, so I usually get bored and just go do something else. I don't have the option to crosspost for some reason, so I have to start over every time.

You account is no old enough or your karma is too low. I can post bazillions in a minute. try reddit.com/r/freekarma4us to go to about ~100 karma before turning the SPAM MACHEEN on

to post quickly: write reddit.com/submit on URL bar, go to history, press ctrl and click on "reddit.com/submit" 20 times. Now you have many tabs. Go on one, write subreddit name, then ctrl+v the post title. Ctrl+tab to the next tab. Write sub name and paste post title. Do it to all tabs. Now get the image link (ex.: i.imgur.com/xzq6D1a.jpg) <- make sure to add .jpg at the end. Paste it on a tab (that already has title and subreddit name filled in), select "Link" on the Text/Photo/Link option tabs, select NSFW tag if necessary, select flair if necessary, click post. Ctrl+W to close that window and go on to the next (pasting the link to the image)

ez money

It's 5 years old, current karma is 1,249 but that's after being inactive for a few months, it's usually higher.

Okay I see now how Reddit works... I only post a single pic every couple days to one subreddit... I don’t think it’s a platform for me if it requires me to be spammy

Hey @Mila_ I have also been toying with the idea of posting on reddit. I will probably end up posting on r/gonemild once I start actually using my new account and get enough karma and posts under my belt. Oh, how I wish I could use my current account! Here are some of my thoughts.

The type of people that you (and I) attract fit a fairly small niche. Not everyone likes the illusion and tease, most people want immediate gratification, especially so on a site like reddit. Thus, a lot of the advice that's given for maximizing reddit potential is not going to work for people like us. We have to work a bit harder and differently. Put links in your profile and share some info about yourself in there. Upload an enticing, but not too enticing picture as your avatar. Post comments in subs that actually interest you. Post comments in subs where you feel you have interesting, insightful, or even just something fun to share. r/sex is a good one - gets a lot of traffic and is also something we have experience in. r/relationshipadvice is also good. I love art so I intend on also commenting in r/art. There are many other options! The key is to make genuine comments so that people are interested in actually looking at your profile. We have to "tease" them with our comments and avatar. If you're only posting pics of yourself in specific subreddits, then it looks like all you're trying to do is get people to sub to your OF. Many people don't like that, especially if you've not given them a sexy nude freebie. Of course, this will be the driving factor of your genuine comments in other subs, but you're also sharing bits of yourself in the hopes that others find you interesting enough to learn more about you and want to help support you. You want to build your community and people aren't going to want to join your community if you don't give them a reason to. Posting comments should actually be relatively easy for you because you are an interesting person and you do have a lot of things to share about yourself.

I don't know if this is at all helpful or even if it will work. It's just how I plan to do things and it feels like it can work. I've purchased things that I've found on people's profiles simply because I was interested in learning more about them after reading a comment they made. If it works on me, then it will surely work on other people.

Edit to add: I follow you on twitter and saw your twitter posts directing people to upvote your reddit posts. This is a huge no no on reddit and they can ban you for it. I would remove those posts and be more coy in how you direct people from twitter to reddit in the future.

Thank you for all this advice... to be honest I’ve never had to work hard to get attention online, for some reason all it takes for me is to show up and do the bare minimum... I am not trying to brag it’s just the way this experience has been for me since I started, and across different platforms. I then also work hard but the attention and ease with which I make conversions and sales is a big factor for why I take the time to work hard. Whenever something seems broken and like I can’t make strides I drop it cause the effort can be better spent somewhere else.

So with Reddit I have tried a few things. I didn’t have my OF linked there at first, just my newsletter which is free. I got maybe 2 signups. So I figured maybe people were zealous about it and decided to switch it up and post my OF instead thinking since it’s a popular network now people would join at a higher rate than my newsletter but it was a big bucket of nope.

If I had seen at least a mild success with Reddit posting content there for free I would continue to try different strategies and pour effort into it, but as it is I don’t think it’s worth it. I would need to work really hard to get people to signup spending time and effort I could use somewhere else. Not to mention giving away free content to 1000s of people that I would rather save it so those who appreciate me enough to subscribe will enjoy it in an exclusive way.

Reddit feels like bringing a machine gun to kill a fly..... ratatatatatatatatatatat take all my pictures bitch! Lmao

That's fair enough and I understand. Reddit is a very different beast to try to tame. You're not only competing against other models, but you're also competing against games, books, movies, other sellers of tangible products (such as etsy), etc. You've got to give your reddit identity some personality. People do look at the post/comment history of users. I don't buy products from people on there who only post about their products. I want to see that they're a real, living being who I am excited to support. I really do feel that if you put not even half of much effort as you put into posts here into real, genuine comments on reddit, you would see results. I obviously can't know, but it's just a feeling based upon what I know of you.

What do you think are the best reddit to post in ? I never used it and it's like an ocean I don't even know where to begin with

Great advice, I sometimes post on Reddit in the onlyfans subs. Not sure if anyone has signed from it and it's hard to get upvoted it seems. How would you recommend to gain more NSFW twitter followers from Reddit? - are there any twitter dedicated subs or

Aww that’s very kind of you to say about me ❤️ in reality I have such an odd set of beliefs and my value system is so different to that of the average Reddit user I don’t feel comfortable participating in most subreddits. I get frustrated and If I said what I really think I would be downvoted into oblivion so my Karma would dive into a pit 😂 I am much more comfortable in 4chan talking to truck drivers, Dash delivery boys and blue collar guys than I am on Reddit talking to liberal art degree baristas. I can’t help it. If I was a better actress I could make up a persona and fake it but i suck at that. And while I could advertise in 4chan... Unfortunately I don’t see 4chan users as potential subscribers, they are the types who populate piracy sites and create mega collections and wear their asshole badge with pride. So... it’s a lose-lose situation for me.

In theory you have to find the subreddits that will better adjust to your personal niches and post there. Are you pale? /r/palegirls or /r/ghostnips are you chubby? /r/curvy, are you young looking and skinny? /r/realgirls etc

I feel the same, I don't like to spam any platform. Even my Twitter I only post a manual OF advertisement once per day.

Lately I've been posting a single pic to a few different subreddits once every couple of weeks. I've had maybe 2 signups on OF from it each time. That's it.

Your posts have a lot more upvote action than mine, though. I didn't feel ike going through the effort of verifying on Curvy even though once upon a time I was a major hit on there... (Still have one of my posts as a top 10 of all time on there, w00t). Maybe I'll give that a shot soon if I feel the motivation.

I had a reddit account with awesome Karma and I just deleted it (rebranding). I won't be back. I'm not sure why some girls get a million upvotes and others get none. I also don't see the point of anyone joining my OF if all my nudes are free on 10 different subreddits. Wasn't worth it to me.

I'm wondering, is it cool to post the same picture in different subreddits ? Or is it forbidden and I should post different ones ?

It's definitely not forbidden. Here are my last few weeks lol:

Also if this helps, I 've noticed the CRAPPIER and amateur my pics are, the better they do. I've done a pro photoshoot at a fancy place and when I post those pics I don't get HALF of the subs I get when I pots amateur, webcam, first-try pics at home

well I just tried to post the same pics in two different subs and got this "Moderators remove posts from feeds for a variety of reasons, including keeping communities safe, civil, and true to their purpose." :/ what a let down

You have to read the rules of each subreddit carefully before posting. Some allow watermarks, some don't. Some will immediately remove it if you mention anything for sale (onlyfans, etc.)

I have had luck getting traction on Reddit without frequent posting. I’ve posted only once or twice a week since I started.

Reddit is where about 70% of my fans come from. I have my onlyfans link at the end of my bio and in a pinned post on my profile. Otherwise I don’t mention it on post titles or comments, even if someone asks in a comment. I don’t want to risk getting banned. I’ll answer private messages about it, if they message first, though.

All of my titles are really generic and crappy lol ”Flashing My Big Tits [oc]”, but it works for me. I also never say something like “checkout my profile;)” or anything similar. It’s a rule in some subreddits and just a habit now.

I only post one photo once or twice a week, but I’m going to change that next week when my life settles down. I’m aiming for maybe 4 times a week.

I mainly post to r/bigtiddygothgf, r/stacked, and sometimes r/onoff. If a subreddit doesn’t allow watermarks, I don’t bother. It helps to find other models that share your aesthetic and see where they’re posting and to see if they have visible watermarks. My goal is to post at the best time (use laterforreddit.com subreddit top post analysis tool and adjust the vote threshold to 300-500 minimum).

I only keep the posts that get lots of karma within the first 24hours on my profile and regularly delete ones that don’t do well (under 200 upvotes, sometimes under 400).
I keep at most 10 different photo posts up on my profile that are high in karma so that if someone sorts by “top of past month” etc in a subreddit it may show up. The under 400 upvote ones get buried in bigger subs, and since it won’t help me much I remove them completely after they die out so that people don’t get hundreds of free photos from me lol. With these deleted posts, I repost them at a different time slot and day to try my luck again. 400 upvotes is just an example, the amount of upvotes that I consider a “fail” is relative to the size of the subreddit. I leave plenty of under 200upvote posts up for a few days too.

it’s absolutely worth trying, I was afraid of Reddit for a few months before I finally posted and it helped tremendously.

I can definitely understand this.
Personally, I always prefer the more natural kind of photos than photoshoots. You want to be able to imagine that person could be with you in their regular/sexy clothing. A professional photoshoot with all gimmicks going on really takes away from that experience - or for me personally, it does.

Ty @MaePeach, awesome info

One of my subscribers just created a reddit bot (posts to multiple subreddits at once, not against reddit ToS) tool for me and it worked! I'm pretty happy about it, now I can post to smaller subs that "aren't worth my time" if posting manually
