This vid made me laugh, don't know if I'm particularly fussed about seeing male penis or not, but then though I find random dudes dicks unattractive, I don't think I'd mind seeing some hard penis on some actors! I'm guessing the reason that tv producers like HBO show so many breasts and nothing by way of penis is partially because men are more bothered about seeing boobs than women are by seeing penis, but also because less women get turned off or repulsed by seeing a woman's breasts/naked body than men who feel uncomfortable seeing another man's hard penis. But, with the amount of porn including penis's that guys watch I think they can handle a bit of hard cock, and I mean, it's only fair! It'd be nice to see men seen as just as much sex symbols with their bodies on display as we see women.

I'm straight but I have to say I find the female body so much more attractive to look at than the male body. I don't know why.

Don't get me wrong, I love a chiseled man as much as the next lady but I don't get turned on looking at a random penis or looking at a random naked man for that matter. I'd have to be flirting with a guy fairly intensely before seeing his cock in order for me to get aroused by seeing it. Whereas, if I'm just surfing Twitter and I see a picture of boobs or a nice ass I'm instantly wet and think "damn".

Perhaps it could just be that females have always been used in a sexual manner in media to gain more views and attention, but damn why mess with something that works! ;)

I'm not sure how I'd feel if male nudity ever became more of an acceptable, typical thing to see on TV. Even just the end part where the guys walked into scene I was like "uhhh". Plus, it's already awkward enough watching a movie where a female body is sexually displayed with my family let alone if they started adding hard dicks into the mix, lmao :p

I think genitals are a little different than secondary sex characteristics. We see men's breasts on tv as often as we see females. We don't see vulva when flipping through the channels, I don't think we need to see dick.

Plus, I kind of feel like equating breasts to genitals kinda supports the overwhelming societal opinion that women should keep their breasts covered so as to not offend. (You wouldn't want some guy walking down Main Street with any part of his wang out, if breasts are just like genitals then you wouldn't want a woman walking around with cleavage showing.)

I think we see less lady bits since pubic hair went the way of the Dodo. I have seen some poon in shows like Boardwalk Empire and Spartacus (which was very equal opportunity in flashing naughty bits), but I don't recall seeing much of the waxed variety in a TV show or movie apart from the much reblogged Rosario Dawson one.

These are closest to the reasons, but with anything the reasons are more complex than you realize. It is easier to show a woman nude/naked without showing the genitalia. There are rules and rating issues for movies if genitalia is shown. Most movies shoot for a PG-13 rating for money and profit motives. Once you hit an R rating the amount of money the movie can make is limited and if it hits an X rating, good luck getting the movie shown.

This begs the question of how the rules come about. The reasons are many and varied but I personally think it comes down to a sexist society that continues to objectify women. :twocents-02cents:

Yeah on-screen wang is pretty rare. The most recent time I can remember seeing penis was when Theon Greyjoy showed his in Season 1 of Game of Thrones.

Occasionally you see a non hard penis, occasionally even a semi (or just a big one not hard), but I don't think I've even seen a dude with a boner showing outside porn. I have seen plenty of women's parts though, not often truly explicit, but it's not that unusual to see that whole area fairly clearly.

It's rare to see that part of a man on film and have it being remotely sexual, one of the only times I can think of is in the Sex and the City movie, Samantha is perving on some dude showering, you see him fully naked from behind and then he turns around and you can most definitely see a decent sized cock. Not hard and not fully showing, but showing enough. But that whole series is based on empowering women and women having sex in the same way guys have sex, so maybe that's why they put the cock shot in there, to turn the tables round a bit.
I'm not one who likes seeing random dudes penis's, I hate seeing them on twitter, I don't watch cams, the idea of it actually repulses me. But... When it's on a film and it's a really attractive dude, like in the case of Sex and the City, I most definitely didn't mind seeing that penis! I also wouldn't mind seeing a little more penis, though only on attractive guys. I mean it's not like you ever see some really ugly elderly woman in a sex scene showing off all her lady parts.

I'm not saying that guys should all be showing boners, but if women are going to be portrayed so graphically then I think men should also have their share of skin showing. For most women porn just doesn't do it for them, and though there are some girls who get as turned on by looking at other women, if not more, it's not the large percent of the population. I mean when I watch porn, I look at the girl even though I'm only semi into girls, why do I look at the girl? Because the guy isn't looking remotely sexy. I don't even find porn much of a turn on anymore, it got old quickly. If there were shows where the guys were sexy and showing their fair share of skin, but not only that as he'd be in the show his character would be built up etc, that would be like porn for me. It'd actually make me more interested and attracted to the male sex as a whole.

Most of the time I watch tv the girls are the sexy ones and the dudes are just sexless beings, except the odd occasion when a dude has a LOT of charisma. I wouldn't mind that changing. I mean women aren't going to stop being portrayed as sex objects anytime soon, might as well make it equal and do the same to dudes.

I think this is the last penis I saw on the television.
