So, I feel like they kinda announced this out of the blue with NOT enough notice, but MV is going to be a live camming site starting July 31st 2018! They are offering 6 cents a token (unheard of, highest payout, apparently) for the first month only. Will you members watch performers there? Will you models be performing there? What are all your thoughts!?

It sounds good in theory but I'm hoping it doesn't turn out the same way as clips4sale's live cam site. They have way more traffic and it still didn't fly yet. I've been live there several times and the only traffic I have gotten is a viewer I sent myself. Seems those who mainly buy clips aren't accustomed to paying for live cam? doesn't make sense to me but that's what I've found.

Really hope I'm wrong and it turns out to be awesome with good traffic.

Im not sure but I think many of the customers might want to watch the higher girls especially if they don't stream elsewhere. I am going to try it myself a time or two but to be honest Im not very established yet so I don't know how well it will go. I am also interested to see how it affects streamers on other site if more will turn to MV to stream leaving more audiences to other sites

I took a look and was disappointed to see they have everything out in free chat, pussy, anal, everything. There is no option for anyone to go one on one so I won't be using the site unless this changes since I prefer domme/fetish sessions.

I emailed support to ask why they don't have one on one privates since most other sites do offer this.

I was using it today and wondered if it was so you could sell video chat from your profile. I sell Skype there. It also doesn't connect with my Lush but I knew it wouldn't yet. No group even if you use video chat for private but ugh... group.

I checked it out and I really wasn't impressed. The UI reminds me a lot of the recently launched Camversity. Each cam initially loads very slowly and at the lowest resolution. The sound is also muted by default which is annoying. The streams were buggy and laggy.

The greatest disappointment however is the experience of going from the cam to the model's clip page. You would imagine they would get that part right since they are primarily a clip site. However, unlike MFC Share which makes the experience less jarring by keeping the cam open while allowing you to browse the model's share items, here it takes you completely away from the cam and just opens the normal clip page. All in all, a pretty disappointing experience. Unless MV manages to nab some exclusive models who can attract a huge audience, I doubt I will bother.

Actually, I think it's good of them to have sounds muted by default, if that is the case for everyone and not just some preference set by the individual user.
Just think of how many of the guys have families, are working and anything else. They want to be discreet and don't want to be going into a room and have music potentially blaring out.

That's what headphones are for, in my opinion. Worried about someone coming in? One earbud in, one out. I get SO tired of the "type bb, wife is sleeping" nonsense. Lock yourself in the bathroom or something.

As for the "at work" crowd, you're not supposed to watch porn while you're working. I can guarantee it's not allowed at just about every work place. I can't even get on ACF at my office job, let alone actually watch porn.

Actually I didn't fully describe the issue with the current mute option. On MFC and CB, mute is a universal setting where every room is either muted or not. On Manyvids, it's a per room setting. Every room you go into defaults to mute until you unmute. This is highly annoying. Also, sound effects are unmuted by default. That means tipping sounds are not muted. So good luck having a discreet experience when the tip sounds blare from your speaker from a room you thought was muted. :haha:

I will send this message in to MV with my own concerns as well. They seem eager for feedback at this point as this is the Beta stage. They are one of the most accommodating sites I've dealt with so far.

I got followers from it, about 9 the day I did as opposed to the usually 3 or so a day.

It looks like they just converted when you would heart a person into a follow now. I wish they had just made a proper separate system because there's already an issue if a model closes there page there's no way to remove them from your activity page. Also why is it still the activity page instead of a following page yet? They're working backwards to rush this out.

I don't follow you in the slightest. Hearting a model? I agree it would have been nice if they hadn't launched this in such a "beta" state. I've already e-mailed them mine and others' concerns. I can e-mail them again about whatever else comes up here including yours if you can clarify. I'll browse the site later and try to figure out what you mean about hearting a model.

There used to be a little heart under the model's avatar on their page, you could click it and it would help the model's rank.
