I just signed up for manyvids and see they now have a live streaming section...I didn't see this feature on there a few years ago. Has anyone streamed on there and had success?

Outsider's perspective here, as I've only used their video sales service. But it's been said I believe that unless you already have a decent following on the sales side of it, you won't get many viewers/tippers on the streaming part of their site.

Their streaming side of the site is lacking in many aspects of an ACTUAL LEGIT cam site, so don't expect much.

Yeah, I kinda got the idea that since there's not many members that probably the ppl with big vid followings are making money. Do you have a good experience selling vids on there?

I did back before they screwed up the whole site by trying to make it into a cam site and a social site and a tube site. Lol.

what the heck is a "tube site" i understand the social aspect (rank following, etc) but yeah it seems to me, these days, onlyfans has become a bit more popular for selling vids...even snap premium is going out of vogue a bit and mfcshare is growing...

Tube sites allow you to stream videos for free. Think YouTube or Pornhub.

I know this question wasn't originally aimed at me, but I want to add that I've had a decent experience selling videos on MV. They do really frustrating things sometimes (like charging $2 to get your payout and the recent watermark debacle), but it's still worth it for me to post there. Lately, it's the only site where I'm seeing decent growth.

It took several months of consistent uploads before I saw much success, but if you're able to put out decent quality videos at least a few times a week, I'd say MV is definitely worth it.

I'll start by answering your question re: camming on MV. I tried it once and it was terrible so that was the end of that. lol. There was just nobody in the room.

The only upside I see to it is that when I log on to the site, the LIVE models are on the front page of the site, so that would give some name recognition and MAYBE send traffic to your page, but TBH at that point I would just go cam on a cam site and promote your MV page on Twitter.

That said, MV HAS been great for what is was originally meant for which is making money by selling videos, as well as stuff like worn clothing/panties and custom videos. It IS a great way especially to earn passive income (you'll just want to link it directly to your Twitter so it auto tweets when you make a sale so more people see it and click it).

It's nice to wake up every day and see more purchases from videos I made years ago :) so it DOES have its upsides but cam, not so much.

yeah after i wrote that i kinda realized that that must be what she was saying lol

I mean, they are decent quality vids but they're mostly solo work, I'm wondering if the more sexual couples content sells more on there or kink or what but i mean that makes a lot of sense. Do you do solo, couples, kink or all? lol

I've never live streamed from MV Live, but from what I understand, your best bet if you want to stream on there is to also be streaming to your main cam site at the same time. That way, if it's slow you're not wasting your time, but you also still have the possibility of making some tokens or at the very least bringing more traffic to your vids.

MV actually stopped doing the tube site thing awhile back. I think it was just losing them money and I know there was a few people who took advantage of it and artificially inflated the view counts on their MV tube (or whatever it was called) videos to make more money. It was an overall bad idea on many levels, and ending it just caused people who legitimately made money through it to be pissed off.

But, as far as video sales go, it's definitely worth it. I purely make content now, and ManyVids is without a doubt my top site. Solo female stuff sells. If you look at the top sellers in the MV Girls category, most of them focus mostly on solo content and have little, if any, couple content. Granted, when you're making solo content (or really any content these days) you have to be creative so that your content sticks out and gets sales. Whether that be longer videos, having immersive storylines in your videos, having a certain niche look/physical quality, or filming content in a variety of different categories.

I go live there daily ,but is just a extra income for me. The room is usually empty but it happened to have a good spender sometimes. I like that I get 80%
When did you start, and do you sell a lot of vids on there? And are they super quality like sex vids (if I may ask, sorry lol, but taht's what ppl like to buy over solo it seems, unless you're like a top solo girl) btw what does MV girl score mean?

This confuses me, what are you talking about, or how did you come to this conclusion? This is not my experience at all. I'm not a top-selling model on MV, and I have both couples and solo content, and idk what you are talking about. Just worried other new models will read this, and think that that is true. My solo content and couples content are both equally popular. Solo a tiny bit moreso.

ETA; Last thing we need are male models going around saying this to new models, so that they can exploit them and control them. Did some guy who's looking for a female to film with tell you this? Because it's crap and not true.

yeah sorry i wish i could edit that statement up there, Yes, good quality solo content does make money and yeah I'm sure i've had some crappy guys tell me that. I seem to get asked a LOT on mfc for couples material even though it's a solo girls site and it makes no sense to me.
I'm sure any good solo content can make it, so please new models don't get detracted by that statement. I don't think MY stuff is quality, but then again, I'm really not sure at times because I am new to this

Ok, let me remand what I wanted to say. I, at times, do feel insecure as a solo model selling vids on my own when I see so many studio girls having co cam models, or very polished pics and so and so forth, but I keep on forgetting that so much about this is about consistency, time, and effort. So, really, for me, it's just a bit of an insecurity because yes a lot of douche bag guys on mfc ask me for couples shows consistently (the same ppl) I say no, and that this indeed a girls solo site, yet they keep on doing it anyhow and it almost makes no sense to me why you would repeteadly ask somebody that question on a site that is mainly solo girls, no guys, no couples etc...

Yeah just wish my twitter site hadn't been deleted, need to VPN and start over lol

I know this was in response to someone else, but I wanted to say that you definitely don't need to make b/g content to sell videos. There's a lot of guys who pay for indie porn because they want to feel some connection to the model they're watching. These guys generally prefer solo stuff that has some sort of dialogue. Even when I was camming, I had a bunch of members who straight up did not want to see another dude's dick when jerking off and preferred just watching a girl by herself. I even did a poll in my room to see how many guys would be willing to buy a video of me getting it on with my boyfriend at the time, and the general consensus amongst most of my regulars was "meh, I'd rather see only you". I've never made b/g or couple porn. I don't even do masturbation or full nudity, and I can tell you that it is absolutely possible to do well and get good sales just from solo, non-explicit content.

If you are having trouble with sales, you could maybe look into different fetishes and try making content catered to fetishes you are comfortable filming in. Looking at the categories on Clips4Sale is a great way to see what sort of fetishes are out there and how popular they are.

MV girl score mean?

Your MV Girl score is calculated based on how many videos you upload, how many sales you get, getting video reviews and getting hearts on your videos over a 45 day period. The exact algorithm is unknown, but I'm pretty positive making sales affects it the most, with how much you upload coming in second. Your MV Girl rank is determined by your score compared to all the other people within your category (MV Girl, MV Boy, MV Trans).

I mean, they are decent quality vids but they're mostly solo work, I'm wondering if the more sexual couples content sells more on there or kink or what but i mean that makes a lot of sense. Do you do solo, couples, kink or all? lol

I have over 300 videos on MV, and only 5 of those are boy/girl vids (4 bjs, 1 sex vid), and while those do sell, most of what I earn is from solo vids and I definitely wouldn't need those bg vids to be successful there. My username is veggiebabyy on MV as well. Feel free to check out my page to get an idea of what I post. I think it may help you to scroll back to some of my older videos and see the kinds of things I was posting when I first started. When you're new to something, your quality won't be as high as someone who's been doing it for a while, and that's okay! Don't worry about it too much. Film some videos, post them, and see what happens.

As for what sells for me, people like schoolgirl outfits, JOIs, leggings, breeding... stuff that I would consider fairly vanilla. I do occasionally post more fetishy stuff (like armpits and belly buttons) and that stuff usually does pretty well, too. I post on C4S, Manyvids, IWC, and MFC Share, and in my experience, manyvids is the most accepting of a wide variety of content and is the most worth it of all those sites.

Basically, stop worrying about it and just post some stuff. You'll never figure out what works for you if you never try. Throw stuff at the wall and see what sticks.

Quick edit: I'm also on MFC (Started on MFC in August 2019, joined MV at the end of 2019), and I also had a lot of guys asking about boy/girl content in the beginning. That has died down since I've become more established as a solo model. I have those couple bg videos there for the people who really want to see it, but most people prefer my solo stuff. I think as you establish yourself and put out more content, people learn what to expect from you and will stop asking for other stuff—mostly. I still sometimes get asked for really off-the-wall stuff (girl/girl? vomit? raceplay? have you ever seen that from me???), but I think that'll happen no matter what.

Thank you for sharing your story. I feel similar to Aries and recently started on manyvids and at the beginning of my experience. Your advice is great to me to think about how other models started and keep that in perspective with myself. I haven’t sold much in Manyvids yet but I will continue to use the site and hope it picks up as I grow. As far as the live section from a few hours I have earned a total of 70 cents uggg

Hey guys, sorry for the late reponse. As far as MV goes, I'm not too secure about live streaming just because to me, it feels a bit slow , but I also haven't given it that many hours. However, as passive vid sale site, its not bad if you have some extra time on your hands to upload some vids. I actually did sell one vid so far, and sold another custom, but I mean only $8 total..
Tried out stream mates, and actually I find this to be a very interesting site as you can not get nude below the bottoms during pub chat, and in a way, I feel like that establishes a certain preimium vibe to the site. Only tried it for half an hour but got a couple 2 min pvts lol, and there were ppl in there and chatting.
I guess I still would pick mfc or cb a a site to cam out for MYSELF because of the amount of membership on both sites, and the latitude of freedom w'skype shows etc..also, I guess starting on mfc years ago, I've just had a special kinship with that site ever since.
At the end of the day, I think one or two platforms will resonate with your vibe/pace, and your personality will meld to it and it to your personality if that makes sense?
Love,
ARies

I think it’s likely to be more profitable to cam on MFC with videos for sale on MFC Share, and promote those while on cam... than it is to have videos for sale on MV, and cam on MV Live.

Thats true...I just am wondering how I can push my mfcshare vids more...I have tons of group show recordings and vids marked down for supercheap and get maybe a sale here and htere and use the VIP cllub (all my vids and some group show recordings) as a customer appreciation/outrtight buy on mfcshare.
I'd agree with you that mfc in and of itself has enough marketing tools to keep your fan clubs within mfc, vid, pic sales as well, and also social media in the way of mfcshare. I don't know if cb has all this, but I do really appreciate these aspects of mfc.
And then I use OF in conjunction with mfc for those ppl who have found me through other aveneus such as twitter or insta..

Nice to read your story ! My only complaint about Streamate is that I get a lot of customers but I cannot refer them to any of my other content and can only hope they find it by googling me. I also had to change my name on Streamate to trixxilove69 and I worry just that much makes it harder for people to find me. Is Skype a safe platform for adult work? Can you receive payments on Skype?

hitting my head on the wall today as my Pornhub people want to send me silly “hey” messages just to get my attention, my Twitter people want to tell me about different sites / times to perform. Sometimes I think it doesn’t matter having people refer to one different site because certain sites gravitate certain customers. So far with all the linking to my OFs on Twitter and posting when I stream live: I don’t get a lot of follow up paid transactions from Twitter people.

For me the only platform I am bringing in good earnings is Streamate to my surprise so though I would like my SM customers to become subscribers on my OFs or video buyers at MV ... I am lucky to receive their payments on SM for now.

dissapointed at using the “free” sites as promotion and wonder if I may not be doing it right. I know it is about being consistent and patient but I am also planning a road trip and trying to save $ and saving content to upload once I am traveling so I do not have to create content when I am around family.

hitting my head on the wall today as my Pornhub people want to send me silly “hey” messages just to get my attention,
Idk if this would help, but cheap PH guys messaging me constantly to say jack shit, used to drive me up the wall. So I put the auto friend request accept thing off, and no longer accept friends on there. Then every time someone who had already been accepted as a friend messaged me with stupid shit, without reading my profile first (or respecting what I said in it) I unfriended them. I don't even bother responding I just unfriend. Now I rarely get any dunbassery, when before I was getting it daily (often multiple times daily).

Lol, I don't do 2 minute customs, I don't want to meet up w your ass, and I don't give a shit "what you're up to right now", if I don't fucking know you already.

These things would seem like common sense, but on PH they are not. I just have a ton of links to paid content all over mine, and do next to 0 messaging on there. Before when Modelhub took payments I made good money selling clips on there, it was just the PH only guys that were a fucking time-wasting pain in the ass.

That's very true about solo work. I have quite a few customers who actually DO NOT like seeing vids of me with other guys because they get into the whole gfe thing. So, yes being a solo boy/girl/whatever you are can work out great with the right niche look/niche kinks/longer vids like you said, and some original dialogue and story ideas, and i'm also getting into the content thing myself as I see that many ppl have busy lives and sometimes just want some custom made vids, or vids...that's why I like sextpanther as well, you can make some passive income on there as well.
I just need to find a way to get a new twitter account w VPN I have no idea as to why it was deleted in the first place as I ididn't post nudes, but it's probablly because I posted my onlyfans link on my posts instead of in the linktree...

You can post onlyfans link on twitter, no need to use linktree there. Most often SWer accounts get deleted for too revealing profile or header image, or posting adult content without marking media in your profile as sensitive. As for profile/header image they are very strict about it and it doesn't even have to be nudity. More revealing underwear and/or "suggestive" pose might be enough for them to ban you.

I see MV Live just announced that they'll be offering OBS soon (I knew they eventually would). That's gonna have to be a no for me, since my laptop apparently can't handle the OBS encoder.
I've pretty much stopped using MV Live lately anyway. The traffic sucks. Lol. The few spenders I had before haven't been coming around. There's a guy on there I'd like to convince to come over to MFC.
