Heya Everyone!

I am very curious as to what members opinions are as to meeting/bumping into cam models. (and I'm not talking about persuading a model into prostitution/sex.... although that might be an interesting story too!)

I'd like to hear the members opinions of those who've won a date raffle and met up with the model, how it was meeting her in real life compared to watching her on cam etc. If she seemed the same, if it was even more exciting or maybe an anti climax?

I'd also like to know if you have seen, or have seen a model you recognise from webcam, would you go over and introduce yourself? What would the experience be like? And those who've had the experience and have recognised the girl and gone over, what did you say to her and how did she react?

Also a question for other models, has this ever happened to you? and if so, how did you react/think you'd react?

I always kind of wonder if I'll get some random member in a club recognising me and treating me like some kind of celeb, or maybe they'll just try and sleep with me/stalk me. Or maybe a disgruntled guest will hurl abuse at me one day... who knows?!

Would be amazing if people who have been in these situations would be willing to share stories both good and bad!

I've met three models thus far, different circumstances but all worth while.

The first time was winning a contest by default to spend the weekend with Violet420 and Nikita420. The original dude that won the contest bailed at the last minute, and others who could have gone and were invited to declined. Did they just participate in the contest with no intentions of winning? I can't say. I'd like to think I am the only one with the cojones to tell them yes. What I did enjoy was it was only supposed to be only for a day, but when talking to them about it I had asked if it'd be cool if we extended it and it went from one day, to the entire memorial day weekend- went up to the great white north Thursday and came back Monday. It was a very chill atmosphere, we all got along great and had a lot of fun, granted it took some time as expected just to get comfortable with each other since it was their first time ever meeting someone off cam and me trying to not give off the "I'm going to rape you" vibe which was fun when I already am twice their size. We played video games, watched movies, just went out- I'm a laid back individual and went out there just to hang out with them, anything that happened past that was just bonus.

The third model I met was D0mino, different circumstances being she just came out and asked when I'm going to come meet her. So we got a hotel room for the weekend, banged, watched movies, played computer games, and made cigarette runs at 4 in the morning. Tons of stories, endless inside jokes. It was as excellent as I expected it to be, especially when you get two awesome folks in the same room together.

well, ive met 2 models offline, and knew one model before she started, though thats another story entirely. i feel weird naming names since all three live in my 100 mile radius area. the first model i met we had been chatting via pm and found out we were geographically close. me being disabled and therefore far less threatening than the average mfc member, i eventually invited her out for coffee and giggles. went well i'd say, tho she stopped camming about a month or two later because she wasnt making much on mfc, went back to stripping. we still text and such on occasion.

the second was a complete accident. ran into a lady at the local mega mall and blurted out her cam name before i could stop myself. her reaction wasnt very favorable at first. i apologized profusely and introduced my self by my screen name, then real name, and it was a bit less awkward. luckily she was alone and not with her kids or anything, would have been very very extra rude of me, but i blame the pain meds lol. after a brief conversation which was interspersed with further apologies, we parted. she still cams, and i still visit her room occasionally, with no hard feelings, so an overall good experience id guess?

the one i knew before she cammed was a dancer at a club i frequented, then bounced at. i end up playing "bouncer" in her cam room too when i go in, old habits and all. of course im known for despising the male of the species when it comes to the adult entertainment business anyway.

It was spring 2010, and I was coming out of the local tax office getting help with how to do my taxes. In the rush of people leaving, I generally always turn to look the person who I'm handing the door to in the eye (I guess my way of saying "I recognize that you are a person, I'm doing this for you, not just cause it's a habit"). Anyway, I did a double-take, cause it looked like a guy I'd seen on cam2cam a month or two prior. He gave me a huge smile, but didn't say anything. I blushed, and I think I smiled. I was with my partner, and the member appeared to be with a female. Neither of us mentioned anything about it online either.

In the off chance of meeting a model from MFC in public, I always haul around a yellow bag of 200 nickels which also makes the audible MFC jingle when dropped. I'd toss it over from a safe distance right next to her with a tip note attached saying who I am.

I was Christmas shopping with my mom when we walked past an older gentlemen who seemed nice enough, smiled and kept walking. A couple of seconds later, I hear "Kristin?" from behind me. I look back, and he said "Kristin Paige?" I smiled and said "yeah?". He said "I hope I'm not being a creepy old bastard, but would I be able to get a picture with you?" My mum giggled and kept walking (she knows what I do). I had no problem with it at all, he was very respectful and didn't drag it out. He could have been more careful about approaching me while I was with someone, but that thought probably didn't cross his mind, I understand. The whole experience was pretty flattering.

That same day, I was fixing up my hair in the restroom next to a girl who I thought I knew but couldn't figure out where from. I'm way more shy with women for some reason, so I didn't say anything until she spoke first. She modeled on MFC too!
So weird, two people in one day and it hasn't happened since then.

I plan to meet with a member in late October in Toronto. The only reason is because I no longer see him as a member. He has become a friend, and a damn good one. I have a friend coming with me and the member just recently got a girlfriend so I'm guessing the four of us will hang out.

I don't know how I'd react if I saw someone casually in real life that I had seen on cam- It depends on how confident I was that it was them, and how well we had gotten along in the first place.

Wow that's some nerve him going up to you while with your mother! If anyone did that I would be absolutely furious! With a boyfriend/male friend, or even female friend I don't think I'd mind, I might even be flattered, but if someone actually tried doing that while I was with a member of my family I'd very be tempted to rip them apart on the spot how ever polite they were about it. My mother thinks I do phone sex, not cam work, if that happened with my mother, my father, my brother or my grandmother it'd really upset them and mess up my relationship with them/I'd have to answer a lot of question with very obvious lies. Obviously people get excited etc, but there are some people you don't mention things in front of.

Yes, every model's situation is different as are their reaction to interaction with online people. Best for a member to assume that anyone they spot offline that they know from the cam world is a totally private person and would actually be freaked out by being seen by someone from her room.

Even later, when you see her on cam again, tread very softly when you inform that you saw them at Kroeger's or something. Maybe ask her casually sometime what her feelings are about accidental encounters, and if she says it'd freak her out, say no more.

Any member who, in public chat, claims to have met me, will get the "that must've been my doppleganger". For one simple fact:

stalkers are sneaky bastards. If someone is stalking me, and wants to find out where I live, and finds out that a member saw me at the supermarket... all he has to do is watch the member, who will not be as paranoid as I am about saying where he lives. Find the member, he finds the model, and that's way too close for comfort.

I had a stalker on IRC once. Since I know nothing about him except one nickname he used to go by, I have to assume that he's constantly combing the internet for clues as to where I am. I know he used to be obsessed with me, and can't assume that he isn't still obsessed with me. I refused to give out any info about where I was. I went to see my friend who ran the room, and accidentally mentioned that it took me four hours to get there. He's not as careful about where he lives, so people said "so you live four hours from (insert city here)." Luckily, irc is not on camera, so no one saw my blush, and my attempts to divert the conversation were successful.

I'm quite curious about what were the arrangements first time you met. You say you decided to get a hotel together and had loads of sex (sounds fun!) but how did it get to that? For me even though one of my regulars I chat to loads and probably wouldn't mind meeting him in real life, I'm so stuck to the idea that meeting up in real life, for free would be very out of my comfort zone. I worry about safety a lot, I also worry that meeting someone in real life would change the dynamics of the relationship. How was it with you and her? And how close were you before you met up? Sorry for all the questions, I'm just really interested on how it gets to that point!

I've met up with one of my model friends.
I bumped into 4 models at a popular pancake joint in suburban Detroit the day before Thanksgiving last year! The funny thing is, I was out with a friends (a lesbian couple) and one of them got a huge laugh when I said that "those girls over there look familiar". Turns out that YES they were cam models, and YES my friend knew who they were too!

I've met a bunch of regulars at some point.. went to dinner with a few, even hung out in the hotel room of a few with of them (in a group setting, even alone at one point). One regular took a group of like 7 or so models to a Cirque Du Soliel show. I've gambled and drank with a few in Vegas and I went bowling with a big group of models and regulars once in Miami.

But I think the biggest thing to note is that I've never hung out with someone who claimed they loved me, ever assumed that I would meet them, ever went private with me, even. Any person I've met has usually left my room during shows, said they preferred chatting with me, or when I'm clothed.

And I also usually met the regulars with other models, and other members too. More eyes to make sure everyone is safe. And always during a convention! I've never gone out of my way at home to meet someone, even though one lived .. less than 8 blocks from me =P.

Once I had a long private with a guy who did c2c and said I would never guess where he was from (which made me think he had seen me irl). Then he said he was from Norway. The next day leaving the bank after depositing my paycheck I see either him or his twin brother walking in. It looked just like him, except he said he was from Norway (he typed perfect English in chat though..)

Before I started camming even - I got recognized once on the street (not for anything even dirty let alone pornographic) while I was with my then boyfriend. He was polite and nice, but I wont lie, it was flattering but really creepy also. I had never spoken to him before, or even heard of him in the community from which he identified me from - but he seemed to know a lot about me. Well enough to make me question ever putting up any personal information online again, it was even stranger because at the time I looked absolutely *nothing* like how I did in the images he recognized me from. He stuck around to chat with me for a couple of minutes before I made up an excuse to leave. I never spoke to him or saw him after the fact either. My bf was noooot happy.
