Yes. Guys come in never having even interacted w you before and start talking marriage. It’s beyond creepy and off putting. I think with those types they have decided that they like you, and that you look “good enough“. But they seem to be missing that they don’t know you at all, you have not seen them; they could be disgustingly ugly messy, unclean, and bad communicators. You have had no chance to get to know them. But men like that usually don’t see women as people who have the right to choose. That much I’ve learned well. And with the amount of abuse that goes on in this world, that’s actually a red flag; people that try to push commitment too fast. It’s just disgusting. I can’t think of anything more offputting. Sorry to go on a rant I just find it so absolutely vile, But disturbingly common.

ETA: I guess what I find so offensive about it, is that it just indicates a sexist lack of respect. I am thinking that these types assume that a woman is there looking for a man. That a woman couldn’t possibly be there to make money and have fun. That all women need men to look after them. It’s just so absolutely disgustingly immature, and offensive. And the fact that it’s pretty common in domestic violence, for the perpetrator to push commitment faster than is normal, makes it doubly concerning.
