hey y'all,

long time lurker, first time poster (just made my ACF acct a few minutes ago)- i'm concerned about the warning/suspension/ban system on mfc and wondering if any models have had first hand experience with receiving mutiple warnings, etc? or suspensions? i've received two warnings for separate 'offenses' in the past month (after camming nearly a year and a half with no issues from staff) and i'm worried that if i hit three they will ban my account- has anyone had similar situations on mfc? can you receive multiple warnings without any repercussions? help!

Yikes no, what have they warned you about? MFC has got to be the easiest going of any camsite I have ever known so it must be pretty bad lol

Well.. like.. I think responses will really depend on what they are warning you about. Also, I'm sure all of us are really curious.

Yup totally depends on what you got warned for...a warning for a child heard on cam is going to weighed differently than a warning for hiding your face or a warning for camming from public even. I have gotten one warning from MFC, which was for "spamming" about a year ago (I greet all my regs with the same PM, nothing fancy, just "Hey! Anyway this bird can earn a tip today!" and I was told to learn to switch up my wording so it doesn't happen again. I used to cam from public a year+ ago for months and never even got a warning when they came out to "remind" us that public camming was a no-go.

I think it's going to be hard for any of us to give you advice without knowing what you are being warned for. They weigh some things heavier than others.

I have also seen high cam score models get away with a lot of stuff that is not allowed for others (like...still doing outside shows, sleeping on cam in group show for hours, etc) now did they get warnings for it? None of us really know. But since they continue...I doubt it.

What are we talking about here? We kind of need to know to be able to give you a reply that states "in my experience...." you know?

I don't think we necessarily need to know what rules you've been warned about. You should probably just read over the MFC wiki and assume those rules apply to you then not break them. MFC does ban people.

I think they may be cracking down on a lot of things. Yesterday I got a warning for pee videos which I've had on my profile for about 3 years. The only area where it says this isn't allowed is here: http://wiki.myfreecams.com/wiki/Rules_for_Models

So if pee videos (not live, on cam stuff) aren't allowed, then boy/girl videos aren't either. I'm fine if pee videos aren't actually allowed, but in that case I believe they need to make a separate section stating what can be sold, since I hiiiiiiighly doubt they're going to disallow boy/girl videos.

That's really interesting. They even allow "previews" to be shown on cam of b/g stuff, yet trying to crack down on the sale of pee vids? Super lame.

Nuts! I was under the impression that you could have whatever content you wanted in vids and the "forbidden" stuff only applied to live on cam.
Maybe whom ever was on duty at support that day had a brain fart. Or maybe it would help to not use descriptions of forbidden stuff on your profile directly.
Interesting though.

Actually, I know of 2 models who have been warned for this, so I wouldn't advise it. I think anything under that "Forbidden" list is definitely not allowed on cam, even in previews, but videos are where it's iffy, I guess. Like @AmberCutie I thought you could do pretty much whatever with them. I emailed them, hopefully they clarify it both to me and in the wiki.

My guess is that you have violated the hardcore rule rather than the forbidden content rules. It is a pain considering how badly it is enforced, you will just need to dial it back especially in terms of close ups if this is the case.

What is considered Hardcore?

Hardcore content is notoriously difficult to define but here are some examples of things or actions that MyFreeCams.com may consider Hardcore:
  • Vaginal or anal penetration with fingers, toys, sexual devices, or other items.
  • Cunnilingus (oral sex between women)
  • Spreading of the vagina or anus.
  • Extreme zoom (close-up view) into the vagina or anus.
  • Squirting (female orgasm)
Note that Hardcore content is distinct from Forbidden Content which is absolutely forbidden everywhere on MyFreeCams.com at any time and may constitute a Zero-Tolerance Violation.
Where is Hardcore allowed?

  • Private shows.
  • Group shows.
Where is Hardcore NOT allowed?

Everywhere else, particularly:
  • Free chat or public chat, even if the model has received a Tip.
  • Images uploaded to MyFreeCams Profiles.
  • Avatars
Models or members that violate these rules will face severe penalties.

On forbidden content, most of it is pretty obvious, bans on gross, dangerous, and illegal behaviour on cam. There is also a series of bans on cam for things that tend to turn off large groups of members, such as sleeping, hiding your face, lactation, menstruation, men in the cam room and so on.

I suspect that many/all of the rules of conduct apply to models as well, but not being a model perhaps someone here can enlighten us as to what applies/ does not apply?

They are the ones who provide the tokens so its possible
I've assumed that MFC has avoided that sort of thing by not being the host or direct seller of the video. A site like ManyVids which is the direct host and platform that videos are sold on would probably fall into that problem, but MFC's loophole is that they aren't selling this content directly to their customers. They sell tokens and that's it.

Not saying it isn't possible, but I find it unlikely that this is some new policy they're going to crack down on and more likely that it was just an example of their selective enforcement of vague rules.

Where did you find this? Isn't this old? This was the way it was before, but I'm pretty sure it's changed.

woah..

thats interesting. I wonder if I'll need to take my pee vid down...

I dont think you need to worry about B/G vids. i can't speak for her but I know sexxy_bunny was told by admin that she could sell B/G vids on her profile but was not allowed to show previews of them on her feed. That was last year sometime.. so unless they've had a radical change

To the OP.. i've had 4 over a 5 year period, but not close together. They were all for pretty minor infractions, and were not the same thing repeated..

Quoting this again to state that these are OLD rules and what's allowed in public chat has changed. Hardcore public shows are not against the rules anymore, and even back in the day that they were, it was not enforced very much.

It seems a good idea to take it down in light of Rules for Models. Note, while this says, it applies on both public and private chat, the list includes things that are off cam, such as escorting and prostitution. It makes some sense that this list applied to profiles also.

I was only quoting MFC's wiki for models (cut and paste from yesterday), guess they need to update their wiki.
http://wiki.myfreecams.com/wiki/Hardcore here is the 'old' rule link for anyone interested.

I do agree with the enforcement part. I had assumed the OP was doing the same thing she had done for a year and a half, but had simply got to close to the line of what was considered hardcore by MFC and been warned.

How do you even get to that specific page anymore? This is the main page http://wiki.myfreecams.com/wiki/Rules_and_Guidelines#Rules_for_models and doesn't seem to link to that at all.

The rules for models link is more detailed than the one quoted also http://wiki.myfreecams.com/wiki/Rules_for_Models
The rules page quoted for models is only for the zero tolerance offences. I had assumed the others were part of the model contract, with the information for models link offered as a guide to what is expected.

The one on tips caught my attention in particular ..."If a model promises something in exchange for a tip, she should follow through on that promise. Models that intentionally attempt to scam members will be penalized and banned from the website."
I suspect this one still applies for example?

Here is another on private shows....
"Nudity is customary in private shows so if the model does not feel comfortable with nudity she is required to tell the member within the first minute of the show."

I literally have no idea what you were trying to point out in this post. I'll simply say this, then we can stop with non important semantics:

These two wiki pages are the ones linked on our model admin pages.
http://wiki.myfreecams.com/wiki/Information_for_Models
http://wiki.myfreecams.com/wiki/Rules_for_Models

Neither of those pages link or mention the outdated "hardcore" wiki page anymore so you'd have to actually search it out to find it (and is likely why MFC has forgotten to update/delete it). The information page WAS updated to state that models should follow through on promises, so yes, that applies. I believe the comment on nudity being customary always existed.

edit to add:
I am adamant about not posting outdated rules as it is already confusing enough for new MFC members and models to understand what they are. So please refrain from digging up irrelevant and outdated information and posting it on ACF.

Those specific items actually are aimed at preventing solicitation on the site, since it could get MFC in a lot of trouble. Plus, they have no right to do anything about what models do outside of the site (now, if a model who also happened to escort were to be paid via MFC for that, then MFC would be within their rights to take action).
