Hey Girls,

I`m Freddie, the founder of GorgeousGram.

We are just about to launch a cross platfrom directory of the most adorable cam girls, and offer them our team`s help in online marketing, free of charge. Most webcam sites have their own affiliate program, so they will pay us when we bring new customers to their platform, while you - the performer - do not need to pay us anything.

Our niche is super adorable, beautiful girls with that famous "girlfriend feeling". As we want to pay enough attention to all of our partner performers (working ~2 hours a day on the campaign of each girl), we will work with a maximum of 10 models at the beginning, until we can extend our marketing team. (We start with a team of 4 experienced online marketers)

We do not think about our models as pure video materials, but gorgeous real-life girls with an adorable personality. This principle will determine our communication about how we will promote your channel. So that, we will attract and bring you quality customers who are not only interested in quick shows but looking for a deeper connection and longer private sessions.

What we offer for you:
- set up and manage new social media, dating app profiles for your performer character (even if you have your own already, an extra profile offers extra chance to get found)
- regulary posting in your character`s name and your photos on different erotic related forums, etc. It`s your decision, if you want to show or hide your face on these platforms.
- We will also set up a personal GorgeousGram landingpage for you (gorgeousgram.com/yourname), where we will post soft-core semi naked and naked photos, short teasing videos about you. (We will ask you to provide us with it)
- From this landing page, we will forward visitors to your paid webcam channel.

You do not need to pay us anything, so you do not risk anything. You can only win; more traffic, new fans, more income.
We will only ask you to pay, if you want us forward visitors to your personal contacts (i.e. Skype, KIK, Whatsapp), or to sites what do not offer affiliate program. In this case you can enjoy a 2-week free trial, and you will only need to pay £3,90 per new private connection after this trial, if you want to keep getting in touch wih our visitors via your private contacts.

If I can help you with any further info, please do not hesitate to contact me here, or send me an email to freddie@gorgeousgram.com. We are looking forward to work with you! :)

Best,
Freddie

Whooooa DATING APPS

I don't know if any other Cammodels have this issue, but one of my biggest is when affiliates market me on dating sites. I get these poor dudes who were catfished. They usually have bogus conversation with a fake me and are told some bogus thing to get them online.

Camsites aren't dating sites. Stop sending us traffic who thinks we are available for dating. Especially after FOSTA//SESTA.

I also have had and continue to have this problem. Have seen affiliates falsify the verbiage of the type of service in the ads or campaigns misleading them into thinking it is a dating companion site. I have wasted too much of my cam time correcting the misinformed when this happens. Especially with FOSTA/SESTA, this will not fly.

It's too bad you brought in the dating apps and catfishing bullshit. Otherwise your site would have had a chance.

No way I or most cam models would participate in scummy bullshit like that or allow my photos or videos to be used that way. You are just making our jobs harder for us.

The whole things seems off about the performer not paying the team. Sounds like high level pros that come and go. If you had a team doing that on their own? Why they use someone else to get the payroll ... unless they are black listed from cam site etc.. if indeed this was true or legitimate I’d ask for track records. Or the team gets the hiries into one account and he pays them out... So the models see cash coming back but not the whole cut.

Why did I just realize the name of their site (aka affiliate marketing scheme) sounds like a place for Grandmas?

Hey, thansk for your responses. I try to answer all in one place.

I understand that the mentioning of dating sites or forums sounds bad, I think I didnt`t expressed myself properly. We do not want to catfish anyone, we do not promise dates. In fact we do not even send likes or get matched. But posting a photo on Tinder or other similar sites with a domain name on the photo (like watch my photos here: www.xy.com), may violates the rules of Tinder a bit, but do not promise any false hope to the user: its clear what is that ad for. And yes, it can bring you further customers, as the audience of dating apps and webcam sites has a huge part in common.

Similar for forums. There are online forums with topics such as "My Pussy", "My tits" where people post photos of their body, or often only parts of their body without faces getting recognizable. And others visiting these forums not to hope IRL meetups with those girls, but to see nice boobs and pussies. If we post a photo of a the performer`s boobs there, with a link as "Watch more photos of me here", is nothing like catfishing. We do not pretend to be anything else that we offer: photos and videos to watch about the body of a beautiful girl. We tried it on a Hungarian forum, and 3 simple boob photos have generated over 500 site visits in 2 days, from a small market. There was no lies involved. We told that you can see more photos on this link, and voila, that`s what the got.

Our concept in general (using social media, apps and forums) includes a bit of psychology, thats true. But not catfishing, not lies. What we think is people will get more excited about a model if they meet her photos first somewhere else than an adult or porn site.

There are tons of porn sites where you can choose from thousands of beautiful girls from any niches, and watch their naked photos, videos, or even hardcore porn tapes for free. Let me say something, some of you may don`t like it, but saying it as a man who didn`t have any connection earlier to the webcam trade, if I open a webcam site, do you know what I see? Tons of girls on my screen, most of them are bored as fucked.

The comment about our site`s name is interesting, (sounds like Gran) has a point, maybe we should think about it, I`m afraid... :) Thanks for mentioning it..

People create dating profiles to... date. Or hookup or with some intentions on meeting in person. By creating an account for a performer on any dating site with the sole intention of driving traffic to their camming/clip site you’re already being dishonest, even if you never talk to them, because it is, in fact, giving dudes false hope by just having an existing profile in a place where people go to date. It also puts models at risk in a variety of ways. Especially since most sites don’t allow any sort of talk about meeting up in person since FOSTA/SESTA and it can literally get a person banned from their site. Also, blatantly saying you’re willing to violate the rules of a site does not invoke trust.

Also...

saying it as a man who didn`t have any connection earlier to the webcam trade

Pretty sure this is the issue right here. Tons of people jumping on the sex worker money train without doing any research and without any care as to how what they’re doing can affect the people they are trying to make a quick buck off of.

Whether you explicitly say it or not, having a models profile on a site implies that they are there to date.

You will convince absolutely nobody at this forum (full of actual experienced cam models) that this is a good idea. So if you're stuck on the idea of using that as a tactic, probably best to just leave the forum and try to recruit people somewhere else.

Thanks for the comments again.

I can`t emphasise enough that we will never do catfishing, pretending to do other services than our partner offers, or even suggesting a chance for IRL meeting. However, media hacks and guerilla marketing is a legit method of online (and offline) advertising. Established Hollywood studios have used Tinder and set upa profile for a movie character for promotional reasons, and a car manufacturers did the same on Happn. Anyone with an IQ over 50 will understand by the first sight what is it about, but even the rest wont get hurted, simply keep browsing.... I don`t say that you have to like the idea, but its nothing like being the Devil.

AmberCutie, as this trade requies to be an adult to work in, I`m sure all forum members can decide if they want to try our services or not, and from our side, no offence at all if not. One thing is for sure, we do not offer or suggest anything which is illegal.

Just because others do something that is wrong doesn't mean you should do it. And think about what it says about your business, being willing to do things they know are wrong.

Even if you weren't breaking the tos of the dating sites and potentially putting models at risk or at the very least being annoyed by dudes looking to meet in person, this isn't a good marketing technique.

Just because it will drive traffic to the model's site doesn't mean that it will be paid traffic. The majority of guys on dating sites are not looking to spend money on cam models. If they are going to spend money it will be to take a girl out on a date irl. Views don't mean a damn thing if you're not making money, unless of course it's to a place like Pornhub, and I'm positive dropping Pornhub links on any dating profile will get the account banned pretty quick.

Also, it's just a really bad look. I sometimes get those "Hey bb check out my pofile" messages on my PS4 account and on the profile it's a link with "check out mi sexii pics". Even if I wasn't messaged and happened to see that on someone's profile I'd still consider it inappropriate because there's places to advertise adult services. Gaming platforms and dating sites aren't those places.

But hey, what do we know compared to someone who just got into this industry? The people who have responded here only have literally decades of combined experience in the adult industry, some also with experience in affiliate marketing.

I'm amazed by the fact that there are so many people who want to make money off models but don't want to listen to them.

"I'm right, I'm right, I'm right" and "it's legit, it's legit, it's legit" are two mantras to repeat in the morning.

Let me say something, some of you may don`t like it, but saying it as a man who didn`t have any connection earlier to the webcam trade, if I open a webcam site, do you know what I see? Tons of girls on my screen, most of them are bored as fucked.
And that's very passive aggressive of you. If you can't stand the idea of being wrong in some aspects, especially when you're told so by many highly experienced models, without feeling the need to slightly attack "most of them", the adult industry isn't for you.
