Ok, I have run into the same situation several times
I've been on MFC actively since january 2011. I've always done my best to tip as best I can and always be polite and respectful when I can't afford to tip. I'm on disability with limited income, so even 200 tokens is a lot for me. In my attempts to compensate for being unable to tip very well I usually wind up helping models with tech issues. I'm a hardcore geek with 5 years in cam chat. I've done all sorts of things to help models, at times spending my own money on software or other things to be able to be more helpful, as both the models and I consider it a better use of my funds.
Obviously this earns me the favor of some models. At the same time it earns me the wrath and jealousy of premiums who spend a lot of money on a girl and don't like that I'm getting the same level or more attention they do without tipping. I don't feel like I should have to disclose the nature or time/money cost of what I do behind the scenes to these guys. At the same time I have seen guys leave or not tip when they feel a model has a favorite or "cam boyfriend".
So my question is this: how do I handle this kind of behavior? I don't want to have to disclose what I do behind the scenes but at the same time I don't want to hurt the model's income by being seen as the boyfriend.
