So both my wife and I are new to camming but have been having fun on CB the past few days. I am kind of fumbling at what to do while on camera since I assume most of the viewers are there to see the Female.

I am general curious and want to know what do the viewers of a Couple's cam and other modes wants to see out of the Male outside of the obvious (rock hard, shoot big load, etc.)?

Poll options (please write in any others)
  • "Stay quiet man and keep your hands to yourself please don't block my view"
  • "Talk to us and befriend us"
  • "Be involved physically while the she is teasing us (ie. hands running everywhere)"
  • "You're part of the show too bro shake that ass"

You'd probably get better results asking your viewers what they specifically want to see, tbh.

Solo female camming does 100 times better than couple; this could be your issue. I would say have her try a bunch of shifts herself I bet she makes bank!

As said above and what i saw recently that a model asks an x amount pretipped for a b/g pvt(for the ones who want it )

Right but if he is NOT involved its statistically proven SOLO females make WAY more than solo males/couples its just statistics. I've been doing this 7 years I think I would know lol. If she doesn't even MENTION him she will make more money. It's honestly that simple.

In general, I agree with this. But, I think every once in a while, if it's advertised ahead of time it might do okay. I think it'd have to be marketed correctly though.

Good idea I will probably start asking this at the beginning of our shows or maybe even in the after talk session.

Oh I don't think we are doing bad token wise as a couple we have the viewers and all of that is going well. I just want to improve my performance whatever that may be. She does do solo as well on a different account while I am at work during the day. Then we do couple's camming at night. However it's not really about the money that much for us we just enjoy exploring sexuality this way the tips are just a fun extra.

That's an interesting take I like that it is a way to freshen up a show.

@ThyHeadLackethShoe Are you cam model? do you make over 80k a year doing THIS? if NOT; then you cannot disagree with me. SORRY. Because I do so there really isn't any disagreement HERE..

@ThyHeadLackethShoe yeah weigh in instead of facepalming. Discussion bb.

Unless you have no horse in this race.

Since most people are pushing their ideals and not answering your question I'll give it a go.

One thing is members want to deal with 'the boss' and there can only be one boss. This is usually the female unless it's a regular that's gotten to know both of you. Only one person should be making any agreements or turn things down to reduce confusion. But this is more advice for SM as I don't normally use public chat sites for couple stuff.

As for what people want to see it can vary. You better asking your customers. As a male on cam even with a female partner, be comfortable with anal and pegging or you're throwing more money away.

@BiancaBaker is right, even if some people don’t like her opinion.

Now there are couples who do VERY well, but these are exceptions. Here are two examples:

1) JackPlusJill: Jack is really charismatic and a leader in his own room, their show involves having threesomes with different girls every week and they do them in ticket shows. Their room is massive, yesterday they had 30k viewers. They have many hardcore fans. If you are charming and have personality for days you could pull it off.

2) Whaaaaaaaaat: they are both charismatic, she is a grandma who looks like a 20 year old, great body, pretty face, and he is a guys guy, baseball cap and all. They also bring guests in all the time but they run a podcast where people can call in to the show. They don’t make nearly as much as JackPlusJill but they have fun and make money at it.

These are both Chaturbate couples

Thanks for answering the question I figured this would be a fun but not often discussed topic. The boss is definitely my wife so we should be good there as I always go to her for the go no go.

Oh I am not opposed to pegging but have only done it a little off camera so I would have to work back up to that. But it's definitely not off the table.

Thanks for mentioning those top couple's I have to watch some of there streams and see how they do it. It's doubtful that I am anywhere near as charismatic as JackPlusJill and its not likely we will be doing threesomes but we are ok not being the top of the top.

This has NOT been mentioned but you should open up your own Clips4sale store; My husband runs a very successful one (he shoots with me so it's not all solo but he does shoot solo content: https://www.clips4sale.com/studio/89274 : He does everything for it and I have my own studios; and I know a few other males who do AMAZING. I mean Lance Hart should be looked at as a hero. He literally came into this female dominated world and rocks it out on the C4S top 50 constantly. He is deff not the only dude rocking it. I was a cam model for 3 years before jumping to filming full time. After reading Larkin Love's & Lance Harts write up about how to make 10k on c4s (they both have blog posts) I was sold. Passive income is amazing even if you can't be full time on C4S.

Check out my unicorn's solo site he rocks it too: https://www.clips4sale.com/studio/118632 - This is one example of a dude doing right.

Thanks for the tip Bianca I will look into a clip store once we get the camming down pat. It's really interesting that there are so many niches for content like your husband site thanks for reminding me to keep my mind open to all the possibility.

Like I said he's not the only one - I gave you Miles site too (the second link and it's just him) and these are just two dudes rocking it out on Clips4sale!! there is so many more. I totally think you can do both I was filming part time for 3 yrs before I jumped the camming ship. If you @ my husband on twitter or Miles I'm sure they will help you out to a degree. @sethbaker420 or @milestriker both are full time fetish models; @lancehart is also awesome - I don't think guys think of things like this and believe me there IS a market you just have to be open minded and ready to film some fucked up shit lmao. My husband has 0 shame and I think it's necessary in this world. He's been doing this 4 years and Lance has been here since before me (a 7 year veteran) so there is a total market. You just have to be smart and think outside the box. I was NOT trying to discourage you about camming but honestly it's just proven fact single ladies make WAY more money so if your wife is calling the shots I would let her run the room by herself and I do think personality comes A LOT into play especially on Chaturbate. You guys can also try Streammate - my husband and I were doing pretty great as a couple on there but I just seek creativity and I get bored on a cam site.

Also Nitefirt is amazing - I had Miles and my husband both sign up and there doing awesome, there is NO real market on Niteflirt for dudes and I think there is INSANE potential @TexMuscleJock maybe can chime in on Niteflirt since he is doing it as well and kicking fucking ass. There is legit so MANY options

No worries I didn't take it as discouragement I would rather people tell it to me stright than find out later.

@BiancaBaker Is absolutely, unequivocally correct about this. Yes, there IS a market for guys, and we can do incredibly well given we play our cards right. The first thing you need to determine when doing couples' camming is "What type of narrative are you trying to get across?" Are you dominant with your partner? If so, play that up - show them the inner dynamics of your power exchange and the mediums/methods you use to enforce it. Or maybe it's just a vanilla scene - then, consider what YOU would want to see were you to simply watch a couple play together.

Thinking outside the box IS key here. "Every" guy on-cam has a big dick and muscles or looks nice, whatever. The personality you exude, the narratives you create - these are the things that will put you in that top 1%.

Regardless of your niche, the male's presence does to a large degree serve as a "proxy" for a lot of viewers, especially in vanilla content. Thus, you need to convey a sense of accessibility and versatility. Don't be afraid to put your personality out there and exude a very particular, unique style in what you do...sometimes, the easiest way to do this is to simply interact with your partner as though nobody is watching (that is, do what you guys normally do). I say this because couples' interactions are very intimate, personal, and they always have a narrative element that has been built by years of communication, multiple play sessions, etc. That should and will come out when you cam. And it tends to captivate audiences.

For example, I run a femdom clip store with my wife. It's steadily doing VERY well in the femdom market because it's raw, authentic, real female domination. We have our own style and intimate interactions that result from years of playing together and growing close as a couple. Our fans love to see that.

Bianca is correct in that we fellas need to be wildly open-minded. You can have TONS of fun running a clipstore or going over to NiteFlirt. The male presence is small in both of these mediums and it's therefore pretty easy to wind up in the top ten if you know what you're doing. Bianca's partner, Seth, has been doing this for YEARS and he's done his due diligence in both incorporating his own unique interests into his content as well as researching/learning about new fetishes. I do the same - I have found most success by "branding" myself and creating an interminable type of character; I can delve into ANY fetish because the underlying constant in what I do is power exchange and erotic humiliation. It's all about being organized.

As for NF - you've got thousands of guys using fake photos who have NO idea what they are doing. It's funny because I look at the top male "goodies" every week and it's "Seth, Tex, Seth, Tex, maybe some random guy, Seth, Tex". Merely having a web-presence, well-developed concepts, and having built a reputation as performers has put us at the top.

So in summation - at least insofar as camming is concerned - have fun, dude. Do you have a fetish/act that you've always wanted to try? Do a show where you tell your viewers, "Hey, I've been wanting to try this for a long time, so we're going to do that on-cam today." Have fun with your wife - a lot of viewers watch couples for two reasons: 1) the vicarious experience of pretending to be you and 2) the voyeurism of seeing a REAL couple simply do what they do behind closed doors. #2 seems to be most prevalent; people are tired of fake, over-produced, cartoonish porn and find the visceral intimacy of a REAL couple doing as they do very refreshing. Besides, if they want major studio porn, they can get that for free. The mere question of WHY pay for something on a cam-site versus get free porn is illuminating and tells you a lot about your target audience.

As a male, fortify your "brand", expand yourself. Come up with a strategy of sites you want to tackle e.g. c4s, niteflirt, etc and go through them one-by-one. Have a Twitter account for what you do, a place for your fans to commune and find updates on your content and cross-promotion. Develop your brand, aggregate your fans and let them know about all the cool projects and content you've got going on. You don't have to rush into this, but having a plan laid out will help you immensely.

Just a few pointers off the top of my head. There's so much insight that other models here on ACF can offer.

Wow thank you for so much insight this makes a lot of sense and plenty of new goals to strive for. I did think about some of this before we started camming we are definitely more of the vanilla but I think is plays well. Because I am an average looking guy (dad bod) 6' and 210 lbs (someone that the viewers could see them self as) while my wife is 5-6 smoking hot Asian that would be out if there league (hell she's out of mine). I believe seeing me with here gives them a kind of hope there is a shot for them with someone like her.

We are definitely having fun with and try our best to let out personalities show how they truly are. We don't charge for kissing because it something that we do so often as a couple and we want that to remain as natural as possible.
