Hey everyone! Snapchat has updated their TOS. As of October 30th, porn is no longer allowed to be posted on the app or linked and selling access to your account has also been banned by the site. Please read the new TOS to avoid getting in trouble with your respective cam site and Snapchat.

Porn hasn't been allowed for a very long time on Snapchat and it has been in the TOS so it is nothing new

Then I guess the real kick in the teeth to you all is you're no longer allowed to sell access. I'm trying to be helpful. There are a lot of models who don't know where to look for information. But hey since you know everything you're in the clear so you could have just scrolled right on by this post.

There's really no need to be rude to him. Selling access has also been against their tos for awhile now. None of this is new, it just isn't really implemented on many cam or clip sites. iWantClips actually banned content creators from selling social media handles, including Snapchat, awhile back after Snapchat's legal team reached out to them.

The thing is that this comes up every once in awhile when Snapchat updates their TOS and it gets a bunch of new models to panic when it most likely is going to be business as usual. However models should consider to switch over to Onlyfans or AVN Stars since those are places that are far better for subscription based content.

Why does everything have to be spelled out on here? If you'd go read the TOS update it would tell you that you should be getting ready to expect trolls and banned accounts as they are enforcing it.

If you already know that, good for you. What about the models who are just signing up to broadcast and found themselves here while searching for an answer to a question? They see everyone else selling access, so why shouldn't they? Then suddenly find out they've accepted tips for something they can't provide which could lead to requests for refunds on their cam site.

I swear it's so insular around here sometimes. "Well I know it, you should too!"

As someone who was recently banned without warning and no explanation after six years of thinking something was borderline but never enforced and then it suddenly became enforced and then being wrongly accused of it, I feel it's better to be safe than sorry and spread the information. It shattered my life for two straight weeks. I don't sell snapchat and never have but there are new models who want to.

Again, this is nothing new. Snapchat accounts are banned all the time after getting reported by trolls. Have been for years. All it takes is a simple search to see that running a nsfw Snapchat account is kind of a "do so at your own risk" sort of thing. You were just making it out to be like it was a totally new occurrence, which it isn't.

I'm not sure who hurt you or why you're so defensive, but some of your replies here are so incredibly rude if you're not agreed with 100%. It's really not necessary.

It has been enforced previously too, models getting banned on Snapchat is nothing new some made new accounts and got away with it while others got banned again.

This should be a resource for all models of every level and experience. My experience is going to be completely different in some ways than yours because of how I run my room and it's no more or less valuable than the advice anyone else gives on this site. Yet instead of saying "yeah I can see that" which I often do, I get "nah she doesn't know what the fuck she's talking about because we've never seen her before!"

There seems to be a change in federal law that is mandating all of these sites be ham-fisted with their TOS agreements when it comes to pornography and selling of access. This isn't just one platform or cam site, it's ALL of them.

The tone you infer is your own. I don't own your head voice. I'm sorry if you feel like I should choose different words to express my opinions, I prefer a more direct route when it comes to communicating. Hand-holding and sugar-coating is a mother's job. Most of the comments here leap directly to malice instead of a similar way of doing business on site.

If you look at corporate America, many companies within a single distinct industry have similar ways of doing business. It's the end user experience that solidifies whether or not a client chooses Company A or B. Camming is no different. "She stole this! He stole that! That's MY app!" SMH

Nobody's being rude to you, just pointing out it's nothing new. Premium snaps get banned all the time, the enforcement isn't new either. People just do it anyways and hope it doesn't happen. You posted something that wasn't really quite true. I'm sure you didn't mean any harm by it but I don't know why you're getting so defensive over people politely correcting you.

Don't tell us we're imagining your tone, because we aren't lol

Nobody is saying "she doesn't know what the fuck she is talking about". We're saying "this isn't new like you said."

The only one "jumping directly to malice" is you...

If this site is going to be a resource for models of every level and experience then the information should be accurate. Nobody is blaming you for being incorrect, it happens. We're just correcting the info.

Okay, so let's regroup in 30 days and see if there are more accounts banned or if it's status quo. I don't know how many of you follow the legislation going on about pornography in this country at the moment. Every day is a new smokescreen for something else so these laws are being passed and swept under the rug. I'm guessing that there are massive fines being levied for not policing in a more effective manner.

More so than ever before, I should say.

Can you post the source where you got this info then? Nothing you've said so far is new but if you're saying there is something new then maybe it would help if you just showed us what you've read.

It appears that the TOS was officially updated one year ago to include what I posted here. However, there is a new 'announcement' on top of the TOS page that says as of October 30, 2019 they will be officially enforcing this to a much larger degree.

I am a member of several forums other than this one and noticed that a lot of previously allowed jpegs and memes were suddenly being removed with that user catching a short ban. Evidently this is in part to Google Ads allowing merchants to refuse to advertise on sites with borderline adult content or text. Then the bans started happening for things like "your mama jokes" and serious anti-bullying policies went into place.

Then models on CB catching immediate bans for things we didn't do or not realizing we were complicit in, now Snapchat updating with an "effective date" since it was I guess missed last year? I suspect they'll expect CB and MFC and other sites to enforce their TOS as well. Many Vids going live streaming so now models can't advertise that on CB...

There was a time where fisting and squirting into each others mouths and peeing on cam were "borderline" and animal tail butt plugs were all the rage. Bad dragon toys were rampant, fuck machines were every where and then POOF. In 2014 people started catching bans for all of those things. Our Congress passed legislation in line with the European movement to prevent kids from seeing really "intense physical acts" between adults. Water sports, choking, extreme BDSM, face-sitting in a way that the top never moves but is "suffocating" her bottom were all banned. Now you have to get it in writing to use a fuck machine from CB. Or so TOS says. TOS says a lot of things, of course. There aren't eyes on every room all the time and relies on community to report it but the no questions asked, insta-ban hammer policy is completely new and I smell new laws on the books that involve heavy fines if not complete shut down of the site in question.

And that's how I found this:

Also on all the tube sites for porn, "fucking my daughter" has turned into "not step dad fucking not step daughter". There's change afoot.

That’s always been the case as well. For some reason it got spread around twitter as though it’s new.

I need to go dig into what's on the floor to vote in Congress. It'll either clear things up as to why this has suddenly become industry crackdown 2019 or I'll be even more confused. ;) It's like I've been slowly watching a wave of change in the last 6 months and it's all about to come crashing into the shore.

Actually, the Chaturbate instaban thing is not a new thing either. Kati3kat, who is one of the most popular camgirls in the industry, got hit with an instaban years ago from people reporting her account. I believe her account was unbanned shortly afterwards, but by then she had already moved over to MFC and took a lot of her fans with her.

The reason why a lot of things are bannable offenses isn't because there's laws surrounding it. It's perfectly legal to pee on someone and film yourself doing so. It's perfectly legal to shove whatever you may wish into whichever orifice you want. It's the payment processors who make these rigid rules. I don't know exactly how the payment processors go about policing these rules, but what I do know is that if there's a ton of people violating the terms the payment processors can shut down the merchant account and then the site would have no way of actually getting money. As of right now, what can shut down a site is if they are allowing models to do legitimate illegal stuff. Like in American based sites, because of FOSTA/SESTA you can't offer to take tokens in returns for dates, because it is seen as escorting. You obviously can't have minors on camera, because again, stupid highly illegal. Those will shut down a site.

Other than FOSTA/SESTA what legislation are you talking about? Because FOSTA/SESTA wasn't about preventing kids from seeing porn. It was put in place to stop online sex trafficking (which we all know is bullshit). Yeah, the UK porn ban was to prevent kids from viewing any adult content, not just intense acts, but that was put on an indefinite hold.

And that's how I found this:

I wouldn't put a whole lot of stock in something that one member who likes to make believe is Chaturbate support is going around saying.

The "models just signing up to broadcast" should be reading the TOS for their camsites and social media accounts. It's Internet 101.

Actually it's adult 101. When someone hands you papers to sign, you should read them. If you don't, you are a moron.

And byyyye. Sorry you can't handle someone eloquently explaining to you why you are wrong and having a discussion.

Also Roydz. That name sounds familiar...

*Searches the forums*

Omg it's the egotistical member who gets off on "helping" models and roleplay chatubate support with a couple dudes. They removed themselves after not taking criticism or listening to our concerns.

Stop following these members. All the do is create chicken little scenarios, which is kinda what happened here.

Maybe if you would get verified here on ACF you’d have more information available to you. There’s a lot that is discussed in the Models Only sections that would be way more helpful to you than just googling. Just sayin’

Wow. Really, who hurt you? Sit back and think for just a moment "Was that a proportional reaction to someone correcting my misinformation?".

Because, it was not. And if you believe it was, you should probably go talk to someone.

I'm terribly sorry you are going through whatever it is you are going through that makes you such a volatile person. I'm terribly sorry that you have such deep seeded insecurities that you cannot take someone correcting you on a forum with information that is easily available from a quick Google search. And, I am terribly sorry you are incapable of handling conversations at an adult level. I know that sounds snarky as hell, but there's some sincerity behind it.

Also, bravo. That was such a clever, if incorrect, statement/joke you made there! Kudos to you!

Doubtful that Amber would approve after their engagement in the public section.

But then she(?) couldn't be rude af to us with no consequence, we'd know who she(?) was on CB! No accountability if you never verify, amirite?

Yeah and banned now. But you're right, even before that last outburst I had a bad feeling about her(?). (I keep putting a ? because since there was never an actual link to a cam site account I have no idea.)
