The last time I was here you scared off anyone mentioning Bitcoin now its worth $600 dollars a coin . The last thread I saw was in 2012 and since then it went from $30 -$600 and peeked at $1,000 + most of you would have been millionaires by now if you had kept a few hundred bitcoins ? Why did you treat everyone like shit when they mentioned it ?

I went ahead and started the video clips for Bitcoin despite all the hate and anger toward Bitcoin.

A quote from that thread ....

When I first read this last night I did some searches for BITCOIN. You mention that Bitcoins are at about $5 and pretty stable right now and they started out at a few cents. From what I read, they were at $33 at one point. That's a pretty good drop from $33 to $5.

A few cents! oh my god....wow .... now its over $600 lol

I don't think anyone has been treated like shit in regards to bitcoins. It just seems that in an already unstable environment like camming, bitcoins are more of an income risk than most camgirls are probably willing to take.

It doesn't have to be unstable as you just cash out immediately to your bank account if you so wish. I'm not here to convince you otherwise , as we've seen its proven to be the real deal and not a "ponzi scheme or scam " as everyone said it would be. I was just pointing out the tragic mistake that was done to people who were mentioning it and run out of town here. Most of you could have easily retired on this. Just do a "search" on Bitcoin here and see how people were treated. :crybaby:

So you came here to say "I told you so" and wave ur ass in our faces??

I don't regret not buying into the bitcoin thing. There are plenty of high-risk things I could do that o haven't done that would have made me a lot of money. When people talk about feeling unsafe or like it's too big a risk they are just weighing their options.

Chill out. Sorry your feelings are hurt. Glad bitcoin is working out for you. There there...

Essentially that is the point of this post yes.

How is it high-risk, what part of no volatility risk did you not comprehend ? I mean do you think MFC and all the other cam sites accepting bitcoin worry about volatility ?

For reference it was this thread:

ironic last comment in that thread...

and if you haven't caught on I'm goldieloxxx....

I remembered this thread the other day when I was hearing about the Bitcoin value on the news.

Yes, once sources made a reason to own/use bitcoins their value increased again. With the recent banking issues meaning some feared being taxed on savings, Bitcoin appears the perfect hideaway for your money.

Their value is insane. Wish I'd taken a punt on their value - but I am risk averse.
However, if you were in from the start and mined those coins early - multi-millionaire by now :D

and since Goldieloxxx's original reasons to post seemed to be increasing Bitcoins desire via having such a reason to spend them - which would increase their price - I always felt it meant they had loads and wanted to help the price increase in order to sell them. Chances are, she's now rolling in money if that were true - and all good luck to her :D

Now that you're a millionaire from investing in Bitcoin (I assume) shouldn't you have better things to do than logging into forums to point out to a dozen or so people who were hesitant to embrace Bitcoin as their new overlords that they may have been wrong?

If I'd made millions off of Bitcoin, I'd be busy chilling in my Olympic-sized swimming pool while my servants filled it with ice cubes right now (seriously, it's hotter than the sun here today) before retreating to my own air-conditioned cinema to watch custom pornography on my 50 foot screen and jerking off into an expensive, futuristic device that sucks up bodily fluids before they even hit the ground and pumps them out into the Indian Ocean.

I wouldn't want to be any other place then here with you gals at AmberCuties forum. Just surprised there was never an apology by your dear forum administrator here for the banning of people that mentioned Bitcoins - you realized there was a ban on people who mentioned or brought it up at one point right?

Will, I do have all things you mentioned above thanks for pointing it out. I'm just hear to let people know to be more open minded and to have an apology to all the people who got me banned here and maybe they should be banned also now ?

The thing is you just want to argue about it. At the time.. We felt it was not worth the risk. I could go into my reasons why and I'm sure you'll tell me how stupid I am and beat on your chest etc. And maybe you are right. Why on earth would you feel the need to come back to tell us this? What good does it do for you or for I?

Why aren't you off rolling in money by now anyway? Why is this so important to you..

If that really was the point of your post then I'm sorry that you feel the need to belittle others to make you feel better. You could be a billionaire and I still wouldn't want to be in your shoes.

By the way.. I've been "rolling in it" .. I was dating a man worth around 14million euro. I was miserable, isolated and bored.

I've also lived well below the poverty line. Eventually I felt trapped by the people I was around and made changes but those three years were some of the happiest in my life.

Point being.. Making lots of money is not the only thing in this world. I would much rather be poor and a nice person than a rich angry little man rolling in piles of bitcoins..

Demanding apologies for what? Disagreeing?

Not going to say your stupid not like the others who did back in the day I won't go down to that level. I was even arguing back then there was no risk to accept Bitcoin and gave very good arguments as to why. Its no different then now. I was just curious what makes people trash another person and ban people for suggesting an idea that would help everyone else out?

I'm happy you are doing just fine yourself. I was hoping to get an apology by the admin of this forum ( also unban my account ) and let people know they should be more open minded and not insult others for bringing new ideas to you gals. It wasn't just disagreeing it was outright slander and abuse .....

Can I just throw the fact out there that bitcoins are still a bad idea for camming...
If I'm understanding you correctly, 1 bitcoin is now valued at $600. Are we not basically priced out of them at this point? Who is going to send a bitcoin to a camgirl for a show/some videos with the knowledge that they're at $600 a piece.
It's pretty uncommon for a dude to drop $600 on a camgirl in one go.

I'm not entirely sure why you think its a bad idea for camming. I think , you think that everyone has to buy one bitcoin would this be right? You don't have to. You can buy .05 which is about $30 dollars worth of Bitcoins. So, no your clients won't be priced out if this is what you mean.

Ah, I don't think some dude will drop a WHOLE bitcoin on a show I agree. It would be your normal going rate. So say you charge $3.75 a minute and the total is $35.75 they are given an invoice to send Bitcoin to ( your address ) . My videos clips site ( I mentioned above ) lets the girl put her Bitcoin address in and when people pay , say 0.005 $3 worth of Bitcoin in this case, the payment is automatically sent to you and the video is automatically downloaded for the client right then and there. So there is no need for them to send a whole Bitcoin. Hopefully, this make sense. Before I get banned here again , I'm not here to sell people on Bitcoin I'm over that ....

NoelleBright said:
I had no idea that you could have a fraction of a bitcoin.

I suppose that is the beauty of Bitcoin in my opinion. I can send you 1 cent or 100 million dollars for basically no fee.

In fact, a few people have sent Millions of dollars for No fee or they added a little extra fee to make the transaction go faster. Its stunning to see it. I'll find the story and you can actually see the transaction since every transaction can be seen by everyone ( public ledger ).

They are still issuing investor alerts.

They still list it as one of the worst investments that can be made.
We previously issued an Investor Alert about the use of Bitcoin in the context of a Ponzi scheme. The Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) also recently issued an Investor Alert cautioning investors about the risks of buying and using digital currency such as Bitcoin. In addition, the North American Securities Administrators Association (NASAA) included digital currency on its list of the top 10 threats to investors for 2013.

They are still warning of multiple ponzi scheme's associated with bitcoins, and warning people not to fall for people that say exactly the same things you've been spouting.

No thank you. You keep your coins. I'll keep my dollars safely invested as they are.

Meant to Quote, not Thank, whoops!

Anyway, I remembered your original thread and was around when it was posted (didn't really get into it but looked in on it at first) and I've just looked through it again and I really can't say I see any harassment, ill-treatment, or anything requiring an apology. We have disagreements quite frequently on ACF and there are many debates here. Though every once in a while they get out of hand, I would say that for the most part people handle things quite well and there have been many awesome, educational, and respectful conversations where people are on opposite sides. Someone can disagree with you without it being an attack on you and if you're going to post in an active internet forum (especially one that you are not active on yourself) you should be prepared to be met with some debate. Some people were sassy and some people made fun of you and Bitcoins but this is indeed THE INTERNET so I'm not quite sure what you expected.

What I AM seeing is that your original posts, look very much like the sort of posts that we have come to absolutely HATE here.

The format usually feels something like this:

"Hey laaaaaadies, I am a smart man here to tell you how to run your businesses because you certainly can't take care of yourselves!"

Followed by the inevitable:

"What?! I can't believe you didn't all love my idea, praise me excessively, and make me your king!" :violin: :angry4:

I read the thread and you were not abused in any way (many people were very nice to you and also reasonable) and I feel it's pretty clear that you weren't banned just because you mentioned Bitcoin (that's absurd), but because you clearly came here only to advertise your business (Oh look! You're doing that AGAIN!) and like would NOT let the issue drop. It didn't seem like you had interest in really being a part of the community but turned a bit obsessive which actually DOES seem to be the case since you have come here OVER 2 YEARS LATER to remind us that you have somehow not moved on from your time here. (Perhaps time to seek therapy.)

It was also shown in the old thread that you impersonated a female in your original post on here AND on StripperWeb, which is easily an instantly bannable offense because that is just shady and unacceptable. You were also called out about it and then LIED about it until someone called you out AGAIN with more information regarding your many lies.

I don't think anyone owes you an apology and the idea of that and also of people in the old thread being now banned is completely laughable. You earned your ban and I hope you get another one.

I highly doubt top tier Venture capital firms would be investing millions into Bitcoin if it was an "investment risk" I suppose you think you are smarter then them? Why would they be putting millions of dollars into Bitcoins if they think its an investment scam?

Of course, with anything there is risk. With the dollar there was ponzi schemes like Bernie Madoff and there will be incompetent people who run Bitcoin related Businesses but Bitcoin itself is not a ponzi scheme or a scam.

Is your name Shavers by any chance?

No, is your name Bernie Madoff by any chance? Are you saying there has been no financial crimes committed using the U.S dollar? Heard of J.P Morgan by any chance?

No thank you. You keep your coins. I'll keep my dollars safely invested as they are.

Never said otherwise.

Aaaaaaaaand there it is. So suggesting something that would help better yourself is something everyone should hate. Got it makes perfect sense.

The original post was a question and information about it and had NOTHING to do with expect my idea or else. Can you show me where I say , why didn't you except my idea ? No, because you like to make up stuff.

I read the thread and you were not abused in any way (many people were very nice to you and also reasonable) and I feel it's pretty clear that you weren't banned just because you mentioned Bitcoin (that's absurd), but because you clearly came here only to advertise your business (Oh look! No, no reason to seek therapy. Perhaps you should seek it ? Never advertised my business where do you see that? Another made up accusation.

How is AmberCutie response below helpful in any way on that thread?

This thread has gotten so full of fucksauce I can't even follow it anymore. Probably should have stopped reading it pages and pages ago. Let's stick to what we know, has been proven, and works for now. Give this a few years and check back on it, THEN maybe take a chance on accepting it for payment for our very personal goods we sell via the interwebs.

It was also shown in the old thread that you impersonated a female in your original post on here AND on StripperWeb, which is easily an instantly bannable offense because that is just shady and unacceptable. What are you talking about ? That wasn't any impersonation that was a witch hunt on that person. Notice the thread isn't even searchable anymore thats the one I was referring to in regards of being totally offensive to another person....

I don't think anyone owes you an apology and the idea of that and also of people in the old thread being now banned is completely laughable. You earned your ban and I hope you get another one.
Probably, should unban my other account ( goldieloxx) there was no reason to ban it ..notice how Amber is staying away from this thread with a ten foot poll ....which is ironic as she spends most of her times on polls I'm sure....

I'm not up to date on the being trash talked for speaking about bitcoin thing so I can't talk about that. I'm not here "defending bitcoin" or whatever. I'm simply promoting individual research and civil discussions about a subject and sharing a few personal experiences related to it.

Bitcoin is indeed something that is worth being open minded about. It is something that, if it goes the right way and enough people get into it, could make transactions a lot easier, better and safer. Maybe this previously banned person is posting here because he understands that and just wants people to know about it, or maybe he's just a troll, I don't know and I don't care. Bitcoin has nothing to do with him. My point is, shutting off from the subject and not learning about it isn't going to make any progress.

This bitcoin thing is something banks are TERRIFIED about. A lot of banks and governments (like a user posted above about the US gov) are speaking bad about bitcoin. If you research bitcoin, you'll understand why.

Hell I got into camming because of bitcoin, I first cammed a bit on a couple bitcoin websites and managed to buy my camera with it. I only looked for other camsites at the time because the traffic was terrible (as expected). Once I had a Chaturbate tipper who said he only came to CB because he saw he could buy tokens with bitcoins. He bought a bunch of tokens because he was a long time miner.

Simply research both sides of the story and try to understand the overall picture. It seems a lot of people simply don't understand what bitcoin is, what bitcoin CAN do/be, how it works and what it all means. Don't just trust a government list or a bank CEO's statement, look for yourself, use different sources and learn about it and make up your own mind/opinion.

We need to stop seeing this (and a lot of other things) as black and white. Reality is a spectrum of possibilities not fork roads.
