some members/models are not showing up on mfc

there appears to be some kind of bug with mfc not showing some members in chatrooms, and some of my favorite models names on my computer. this issue isn't an issue with my premium account because I tried it as a guest and it happened too! how do I fix this?

I've been watching models and it shows them on cam and they're in chat, but they show up as being offline, and they're not showing up as online on my friends list or the model list, either. After a while, it sorts itself out. Relogging helps sometimes, but not always. Some MFC glitch.

This bug has been around for years. Usually it's triggered after a model has some sort of camera problem (loose USB cable, etc.) or sometimes after she has a brief network interruption.

The symptoms are that members who are already logged into MFC will see her listed as offline (even if they're in her room watching her). Members who log in after the bug hits will usually see her listed as online.

The solution is for the model to log out completely and then log back in again.

There are a few variants of this bug. It sometimes acts a little bit differently.

Pat was in my room yesteday and faced this bug. Its not the one you're talking about Tim.

What happened was - EVERYONE else could see me just fine, i was showing online - but for Pat, my name was BLANK where it should be on his friends list. LIke actually showing up as a blank spot with no letters. There was also a big white space at the top of chat. Refreshing didn't fix it.

No other members at that time were having the issue.

Sounds like a browser issue. Possibly a broken font.

I've been seeing problems with font rendering in recent versions of Chrome (last six weeks or so). The most recent update to Chrome can't seem to draw my font correctly. (It apparently forgot how to draw my font in bold so it makes my text non-bold. It's fine in all other browsers.)
