I can't be the only one on here that gets reallyreally into their favorite team's games. What's your favorite game, and who's your team?
I absofuckinglutely LOVE hockey! I keep switching between the Islanders and the Bruins. Even though the Islanders suck so badly, they pull out a good win every now and again. Bruins are just badasses, though I haven't seen a good fight in a loooooong time

My two favorite sports are baseball and football, I've played and coached baseball or softball most of my life. 16'' softball is a blast! Although I've lived all over the U.S., I'm mostly a Chicago Cubs and Bears fan. The Blackhawks recent Stanley Cup victory has rekindled my interest in hockey and they have a good chance again this year. I used to like basketball when Michael Jordan played, now I couldn't care less.

The Blackhawks are most likely to win, especially since it's midseason and the Islanders are nowhere near as good. But the Canucks or even the Bruins can pull out ahead.

Can't really comment on football, baseball, or softball. Hockey's my game, and all I can stand to watch :thumbleft:

Huge baseball fan. After 37 years of suffering through some of the most gawd-awful baseball known to man, my Texas Rangers are back-to-back American League Champions. However that also means they have lost the last two World Series, but I'm not complaining (yet).

Dallas Cowboys fan *ducks*.............but really just an overall NFL fan. Glad to see Houston finally make it to the playoffs. 1st time ever. Good for the Bengals in finally making a good showing.

Also a big fan of college football.....regular season. Worst post season on the face of the earth. BcS. Entirely different rant. Could go on for days.............but I digress. Arkansas Razorbacks. Go...........pigs.........soooooie!!!!!

NBA, they could lockout every year or just start season in February. Playoffs are only thing that interests me. March Madness. Love it. Early round games especially. Always love the upsets.

Hockey, eh. I'm from Texas. How the hell much could I know about hockey realistically anyway. Yeah, I know Dallas has the Stars and they won the Cup a few years back, but still. I do like watching hockey live, but don't follow it or watch on TV.

I'm Canadian, but hockey's far down the list of my favourite sports.

1. NFL Football. I'm a Buffalo Bills fan (go ahead and ) and recently discovered that my Dad's a pigskin fan too. Now that he's retired we have time to watch games together. I'd like to take a road trip to Buffalo for a game and then swing by Canton, Ohio to visit the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

I specifically said NFL Football because CFL Football is boring and I can't quite figure out NCAA football.

2. Auto Racing - If it has four wheels and an engine, I'll watch it. NASCAR, ALMS, IndyCar, F1, WRC, WoO, you name it I'm familiar with it.

3. Golf - My old man's responsible for this. It seems so simple to play, yet it's ridiculously difficult. It's great exercise to be out on an open course and walking 18 holes. It's the most frustrating yet most rewarding game to play. Watching on TV is also fun because the greatest players in the world make this game look so easy... and when they mess up, it shows that they're humans just like the rest of us.

4. Soccer/Football/Futbol - Slowly getting into the world's favourite game. I enjoy the strategy, the goals are beautiful to watch, but sometimes the game does get boring. I'd love to go see some games live at some of the big stadiums in Europe to really experience why they're so obsessed with the game over there.

Football (as in soccer) - Like most soccer fans who don't live in Manchester, I support Manchester United. Also follow my local team (Peterborough), who actually aren't doing too badly these days, currently sitting mid-table in the Championship. I still remember watching them play in the old Division 3...

Football (as in American football) - Don't have a team to call my own but do enjoy watching a game or two (or more accurately, bits of a game or two) on a Sunday. Really don't get TebowMania.

...What is this I don't even know anymore.
All sports seem to have a bit of a derp factor, 'cause if you think, about it, what is the point of chasing after a ball/puck/weird American football shaped item? And who is Tebow?

Man U's entertaining to watch but I wish more people would support teams further down the table. I proudly support West Ham United, who're currently sitting 2nd in the Championship and will probably get promoted back to the Premier League.

TebowMania is Tim Tebow, QB of the Denver Broncos. He was a highly successful college QB but many people thought he would be a terrible NFL player. Two years ago the Denver Broncos shocked the world by choosing him in the first round of the draft, many rounds higher than expected. This season in most games he's played terrible through the first three quarters of the game, then in the 4th would lead his team to a highly entertaining comeback victory.
