The big thing that bothered me was that all of the "kids" acted so incredibly bold and uncaring of consequence. The most facepalm-worthy scene was stealing the RV from the live-in owners, right after the kids all agreed they needed to go under the radar. The other was all of them just going in the water so willy nilly upon discovering the gate in the lake.
I honestly almost stopped watching the season at that latter part.
However, I really enjoyed learning about the origins of Vecna - (was he the mindflayer, or at least the main enemy all along? It's rumored/gossiped/etc that Vecna was present in the first season, and the one who sent Will to the Upside Down originally. Who knows, but it's fun to think!) I also loved seeing Hopper being such a badass, the Russia stuff was fun even if not totally believable.
I absolutely HATED the main letterman-jacketed dude. Just reminds me of all of the super white-washed, cult-minded evangelical Christians that are such a threat to our lives in current USA. I can't help but wish ill upon that character.
One funny thing I realized by watchint tiktok vids, is that so many of the actors this season (and overall in the series) have English accents (or at least something other than American accents, I am ignorant about what accents come from where lol).
