I'm debating on how I should tell my mom, I think I know her pretty well and it comes down to I feel like if I tell her she'll be hurt and I don't want to disappoint her. I don't know if she'd fully understand it and she's wondering where my money is coming in from and I reflexivly told her "No you can't know"

If you have enough money to immediately move into your own place, perhaps it would be best not to do any camming at your Mom's place and focus on finding your own place as soon as possible. They are religious , though church wasnt forced .I went there on my own free will with friends and stuff growing up . I can only recall being dragged to church as like a 5 year old . And I only went to that church once . But that's my grandparents, my mom is another story . She let me cam under her roof for a brief time til I left after getting in a fight with my sister. This is certainly something I worry about. I have yet to start but I would like to tell my family before I do to save myself any trouble later down the line. I have already told the ones I knew would either be ok with it or not care and they have all took it rather well, they just made sure I planned to save my money and was being safe. i really needed to hear this... i've been taking a break from camming after telling my mom a few days ago... we live together; i felt so ashamed... i am bipolar so she used my disorder against me and said camming can't be good psychologically...

When i told my parent about what I do and they both were disappointed, also worried about my safety. They later became more supportive when I was financially helping them out and my siblings. Now they just constantly just ask if i am ok. They would visit my apartment and drop some food and make sure i am ok. So happy they accepted it, because i could not last long if they did not.

::Update:: My mom is under a lot of financial strain, so I don't see my camming as an obstacle anymore that I have to totally get rid of. I was so mortified after telling her; I thought I might have to quit for an indefinite amount of time.

What percentage of girls had conservative/religion parents and was there a difference in the reaction between religion parents and non- religious parents?
