Hey beautiful models,

I'm wondering your thoughts on videos of you from your shows being online and how to best get rid of them.

I know Chaturbate offers services to get rid of videos through DMCA take downs, but how effective are there?

Do you any of you use Cam Model Protection or anything like that?

I just want those videos offline forever!

Help!

Thanks :h:

Be aware that a lot of the recorded clip sites are hosted in other countries that do not recognize or bother to respond to DMCA notices.

You can still try to submit take down notices if you'd like.
A good way would be sending a message directly to Chaturbate support through their website asking for help with submitting a DMCA (I know chaturbate support does this, unsure of other sites). Have a list with each individual recorded clip link.

Know that unfortunatly ANY time you broadcast, upload or send anything it will be most likely be on the internet FOREVER. Someone (or some bot) will always be recording and even private shows still can resurface. Figure out where your comfort levels are and go from there.

I use the Superstar Package from Cam Girl Protection. I’m gonna be upfront and just let you know that you will never be able to remove yourself from the internet... completely. However, that doesn’t mean that you can’t try to remove at least as much stuff as possible.

Over the course of having my protection plan for 4 months, my service has provided me with over 1,000 takedowns. This gives me a peace of mind when I look up my cam name and find that I don’t have 10 videos of me touching myself on every porn site.

If I do find a video of myself, I send them the link of the video, add the video’s title as an SEO (they have a section where you can add words you want them to search for content like “clara_chan porn”), and they’ll remove it in 2-3 days max.

Just thinking the amount of time, stress, and energy I would go through trying to file a DMCA complaint myself for every single video I find of me online would be enough for me to get a service with these guys. They get the job done.

Posted below is the results of takedowns from January 14-20. I recommend this for anyone who wants a bit more privacy in their lives, like I do.

Thanks girls! My hesitation with using cam model protection is simply that chaturbate could do it for free, but not sure how good and quick they are at it. Have you used them?

Hey! Thanks for sending. Can I ask how the illegal downloads removed exceeds the legal downloads added?

The movie industry spends billions a year on DMCA, you can still watch any movie online for free.

If you want to do DMCA yourself, you should checkout Sending DMCA requests. And use a VPN while sending the take down requests. Paying some one, or doing it yourself, ether way, it's like playing whack a mole. And it can be a a full time job. And you probable have better things to do. I mean things that you enjoy doing, and or makes you money.

Just a side node, some models have signed up for pornhub Amateur Model Program. Claimed their videos on pornhub, and actually made some money off of the videos they claimed, and continue to make money off of their videos. Also pornhub offers some automated DMCA services for free, but there are some strings attached.

DMCA will only work on US based sites. If the videos are captures of your shows on the cam site, then note that YOU CANNOT SEND THE DMCA TAKE DOWN NOTICE. You do not own the copyright on your shows on the cam sites. I don't know of any cam site that lets you own the copyright on your shows on them, they all (to the best of my knowledge) own the copyrights on your live broadcasts. This way they can use them for things like advertising, if they want. So for recordings of your cam shows, you have to go through the site it was recorded from. If they're videos you sell, you can send the notice, but remember you have to give your legal information when doing so. Apparently there are some services you can use, but I don't know about their effectiveness.

The effectiveness of even the cam sites sending the DMCA notices varies, though. Certain high earning models on MFC seem to have a lot of videos removed, but for everyone else it is probably hit or miss.

The way I look at it, once someone has uploaded it, there is a copy forever out there that I can't 'delete'. This means someone else most likely downloaded it too :(. I do the, if you can't beat them join them, take and have it added to my tube account (PornHub and many others do this method too), so at least I get paid off the views and subsequent uploads will count as spam. Users who 'spam' get deleted. I do like DCMA services though many I have used only sent takedowns after I found the videos.... which I could have done myself.

Clara's service seems pretty awesome though and I know Chaturbate will do it for free but if you ever do clips or work outside of Chaturbate it may be worth while to check into it!

The broadcasters, also knows as creators, have the copyright not the sites. The sites have a license to display the material. That is one of the reasons why cam material gets pirated so often and relatively easily.
Not reacting to a dmca request, because there is the word "dmca" in it, is just a lame excuse to not react. The notice and takedown procedures and copyright laws are pretty much the same all over the world. The professional pirate sites and their hosters just risk the lawsuit, because they know this would have to be done by an individual broadcaster, costs a ton and exposes the real name among other things.

Most sites hosting pirated content use hosts that ignore DMCA take down requests anyway. Sending the DMCA request yourself can put you at risk of getting doxed as you are ment to fill them out the real details, meaning the person who stole your content now has access to your real information. You might have luck in contacting the webhost if you can find who is hosting it and having them take down the entire site for breaching the TOS, but again with a lot of them using sites that ignore DMCA requests they dont have the "No pirated content" in the TOS that most hosting providers have.

This question pops up like every two weeks. It's a common question, because it effects all cam models. Especially models on sites that focus on public shows. If all the posts were stacked together, it might be one of the longest threads on the forum.

The most you can do is get the videos unlisted from search engines and taken down on legitimate sites. But the videos will still be out there. And just doing that can turn into a full time job. A job that's not making you any money. There are much better ways to spend your time.

Some people have found ways to turn some of this around. Like claiming all their videos on ponrhub through the amateur model program. At least their making some money off the videos.

I haven't seen this mentioned yet but sorry if I missed it. dcma takedowns from host sights, meaning the sight has user generated content then the sight is not responsible for the content posted and are not obligated to react to the takedown BUT the links to the pages with you on it are removed from google search. Therefore someone wouldn't be able to find it by just googling you but it is still on out there.
Like Freqaleak said so much content is being produced that what we all make is likely to get lost or go totally unnoticed with time. A lot of sights won't keep pages to videos active if they haven't been looked at in years because it takes up space on their sight that can be used for current girls, you also have the evolution of video quality that has made tons of content from just the early 2000's practically invisible because people are interested in up to date quality or at least close to it. IMO it comes down to if you have the income to justify having a service to take down videos

Also on Chaturbate and MFC you own your content on your live stream according to the terms and conditions. Smaller sights like jasmine and im.live you'll need to read your contract (which I reccemmond doing anyway to know what you're agreeing to)

When i stopped camming my videos were on about 18 different pirate websites, now 6 months later my videos are only to be found under my camming name on 13-14 of the sites. Now of course i don't know if there is a video of me without my camming name on it. but i highly doubt it cause the pirate sites always use the cammers name.

So if you stop camming your videos will most likely disappear in time, depending on how popular your videos are.

Not true at all.

Straight from MFC's DMCA info page:
Content Ownership
In general, models broadcasting on MyFreeCams.com are the owner of their content and copyright. As part of the Model Agreement, models grant MFC a non-exclusive license to use this content on our website. However, as owners of the content and copyright, only models themselves have a right to submit a DMCA notice.

Other sites typically have similar terms.

I've had members send me links and by searching my attributes on tube sites with searches that include the site I was on, or camgirl, camshow, solo etc.
i see, tube sites yes. i'm talking about the pirate sites that do not respond to dmca. every single one of the pirate sites i have come across, had all their videos listed by name and date.
