Disclaimer: This is mainly just a rant

It seems these days I just bounce from one poorly moded site to another with admins that have me doing nothing but face palm.

I've been on ScatShop for one day and after reading through all of the "available" site rules on their site, I have already broken 2 rules that are not available on their site and was simply told by admins that models/sellers are expected to not break their unwritten rules because they "rarely happen." Smh.

I mean, I've only been on clip sites for 2-3 years so correct me if I'm wrong... but is there an unspoken rule among models that it's "generally known to not flood clip sites with uploads?" Because I just got in trouble by admins for uploading, say 15-20 videos in one night, because I flooded their site. Only 8 of my videos were approved and the rest, as told by admins, were deleted because my videos were getting in the way of models who were uploading clips to the site at that time. Furthermore, I am now being told I am limited to 5 uploads per day.

Also, ScatShop's profile editor allows you to input links to text/images and so I added my social medias. There's a rule to not exchange personal information with customers in private messages, but no rule against linking them using their link system in the editor... yet I got a warning from this as well. Really confused what the links would be used for in the editor if not your socials... but yay, more unspoken rules that I'm breaking!

Sorry, you're meant to follow rules that you can't even see until you've already broken them? What? That's a bit mind-boggling. And then when you asked for clarification, they told you they don't need to state all of their rules because some are rarely broken? THAT is just plain fuckery.

Batch uploading seems to be a very common method of adding content to a site. It seems strange to have a rule against this as the end result is more content available more quickly. Most sites (or, all that I am personally familiar with) have no input on upload frequency, so long as it's all unique content. It's interesting to hear that this site would prefer to dictate when you upload, I would think that more content uploaded would result in more sales and more money for all parties. Makes me curious about the thought process that led to this rule. They deleted your uploads? They couldn't at least queue them for you? Rude.

They do not seem to be very concerned with professionalism, both in their interactions with you and their business decisions. Big yikes.

To call back to your other thread, I'm more than a little bothered by these sites claiming (and attempting to convince us to operate under blind faith...?) that xyz strategy makes more money, unless they can back their claims with some solid stats for us to analyze as well. What metrics are being used? Most of us gather our own data to reference and learn from. They are running their business, we run ours, if they want to share data with us for the purpose of bettering all of our earnings then I'm down. But making claims that seem to be based more on opinion than fact and enforcing them on a case by case basis is some real bullshit. On top of that, we can all read data and draw our own different conclusions from it, conclusions that may be more applicable to our own business than another performer's. I can feel myself going deep on a tangent here. :emo:

I've never once read or heard a single positive thing about this site. It's quite literally a "shit show" (excuse my pun) and I've seen models say the site ripped them off by denying sales they know happened. As well as unbelievably rude emails from support.

I had considered the site because they allow blood (fake or simulated) for horror porn and very quickly decided hell would freeze over before I would allow them to make any money off my content.

Darn you beat me to the pun. :)

Scat shop is actual garbage, don't even bother with them. They've had so many issues with payouts, rude/borderline abusive support staff, and just overall problems, I wouldn't want my worst enemy selling with them.

Sounds like a shitty site, avoid at all costs. @MilaRose I'd not even waste more of your time or resources with them. Delete your account immediately, IMO.

Fyp. Missed pun opportunity.

Jokes aside. Sending @MilaRose good vibes. I'm sorry you have been dealing with clip sites being scummy back to back.

They actually beat me to it. I woke up to my store on their site being completely removed without word of any sort of new violation. This also means that $400 worth of sales I made I won't be seeing. What a waste of time... At least I can rule this site out entirely now.

I'd take their asses to small claims court. They can close your account for any reason they want, but if it isn't any violation of rules stated publicly, they have to pay you.

I'm not a lawyer,
TOS seem to be about protecting a company against legal action.
Unwritten rules really doesn't protect them.

Going around telling people they know about the issue, and they're not updating their TOS seems like a bad idea.

Is that possible and do I even stand a chance at winning anything? I only ask because I'm assuming due to the nature of the content that they sell they stay pretty low on the radar in terms of any government's authorities... also, when my shop was closed out by admin I lost access to my sales history, the only proof I have was in a facebook message to a friend the exact earnings I had made my cut, no screenshot just a number.

Just as a silly update for anyone interested, I basically re-opened a ticket with the admins asking what rule have I violated this time to have you remove my shop? I finally get an email back that the ticket was closed out... not even a written response lmfao!

Go to a lawyer babe. I suggest an entertainment lawyer. Take screenshots of everything you can. Your emails, everything. See what they say.

I can definitely try, but the cost of a lawyer might outweigh the gamble, unfortunately. Thanks for the advice though.. I have another site full of shitty admins screwing me over, what else is new?

Just know that you can also get them to pay all your lawyer fees and court fees after all of this. Orrr it can be quickly settled with a strongly worded letter by a lawyer and settling outside of court. You wouldn't know unless you speak to one.

I understand if you don't want to because the stress, but I think you have a strong case. I would talk to a lawyer to see if they think it's worth it too.

The problem is she has a strong case as far of owed money but she needs to be careful she reads if her state has vulgarity laws still on the books. It's not worth the money if you have to incriminate yourself under an old statue in the process. Since we're talking about very 'liquid' types of fetish. She needs to be very clear what is in the content she sold to make sure none of it was illegal to produce in that state.

I agree. Research the law on your location regarding vulgarity, public nudity, etc. and then if it seems it's okay to proceed, I'd say go to small claims court. Usually, it's a pretty nominal fee ($50-100 for example), and there's no attorneys. If you can provide information such as you did here, along with more specific information such as what you saw was total sales and your cut, you might be able to press them. However, you run the risk of them saying they don't have your account info anymore, etc. and playing BS games which might lead into a bigger legal issue.

I think it all comes down to how much it's worth to go through it. Part of me says it's not worth it just because of the time spent trying to reclaim it. But, then the asshole in me says they fucking deserve their day in court because who knows how many models they've fucked over and may still be making money off of clips uploaded that the model no longer has access to. If word got out, there might be a chance others step up and pursue legal matters as well.

Very sorry to hear this is happening.

All very valid points. I think I'll call a lawyer and have a quick phone chat to see what he/she thinks and proceed accordingly. I have a feeling I won't get very far simply because I don't have proof of clip sales. I'll update soon!

I've re-opened a ticket on Scat Shop asking for my payout information. Legally, they aren't allowed to with hold this information.

You aren't an employee. Almost all sites have us agree to something that says we are not employees but independent contractors. They still owe you your money though if you didn't violate any posted rule.

My mistake with using that term then, but I'm sure it still stands that it is illegal to with hold payment information from me since they moderate the site in which I make commissions from since with holding payments and payment details from owed commissions is also illegal, technically.

That is why I said talk to an entertainment lawyer. They would be more aware of her rights and what she is legally owed.

This is a horrible situation and one I get and understand! I asked several people and they say that it is a total waste of time to go after them because of the legal costs and that you will have to file court papers with your real name and stage name and what the dispute is about (scat) and all of that is public record. They could (and probably would) silently release that info to the world... not good. And they probably have their server in another country... that makes it much harder to deal with. :(:(:(:( HUGS AND KISSES

Someone Twitter DM'd me a screen recorded video for proof of tons of models on this site that have their personal information on their profile and has confirmed with me that their site does not have any policy against doing so, only against sharing personal information via PM's. Makes me wonder why the admin had it out for me so bad. I was so polite in asking for site rules, etc and with something that was supposed to get me no more than a warning of violation got me permanently banned from the site.

I'm getting a little bit of personal glory out of the situation though. I've done business with a lot of their regular customers and have been advertising on their twitter through comments. I also spam messaged them with a different email regarding my missed payment. They won't be missing me any time soon.

So.. odd question but I feel like it would be a good idea to ask it here rather than open a new thread - what are good sites for selling scat/taboo content? Are there any?
TMI but I'd love to be able to sell anal content, but I have IBS and... yeah 😅 no matter how much I try to clean myself it seems, there's always more poop.

You can sell toilet videos pretty much anywhere as long as nothing is shown (they do really well on C4S, ESPECIALLY if they're IBS-related), but as for sites where you can show poop - I'm not aware of any that aren't shady.

Yeah, I was looking for sites that allowed it to be visible. I sent an enquiry in to scatshop out of curiosity and yikes their customer support didn't answer my most important question. They also immediately closed my support ticket after replying so I couldn't message back and ask about minimums without opening a new ticket.

Ok so... I'm totally not into the subject matter. But... "your shit videos"....

I realize talking about scat content is already kind of a "shitty subject" (and gross af to me personally, but I digress) but a site owner/admin of a site that clearly promotes that content might be better off discussing it in professional verbiage? No? I guess when you own/admin a site that deals with illegal and obscene content, you don't have to behave in a professional manner.

I hope this site is eventually taken down. There's no reason for actual clipsites to exist for this kind of content. It should all be done "under the table" in my opinion. inB4 "omg ACF is against poop porn" lol. It's true I don't think it has a place in legit clip sites or cam sites. It's obscene and totally disgusting.

That doesn't surprise me, it's the same admin on ScatShop I dealt with. Totally unprofessional, rude, and clearly does not care to cater to other's needs in the slightest.

After all of these years of not joining ACF, I finally do so because I want to reply to this thread, haha.

I'm honestly a little afraid to be writing this because of all of the sketchy things I've read about them, I wouldn't be surprised if they comb through the web to see if any of their sellers are talking crap about them (no pun intended). I've read stuff on Reddit, I was warned on Twitter by Member Blasts when I announced I signed up, and have seen other things that have made me very wary.

First off, yes, their site is designed...not well. There was a member complaining to me about the price of my video (probably thinking I would mark it down for him), and wouldn't stop bothering me, even after I stopped responding. I couldn't find a block button, so I opened a help ticket to inquire about that. I was told that unfortunately they somehow lost that feature, so the admin told him to stop messaging me. The next day, I got a warning for having outside links on my profile. Their rule about no exchanging of contact information is super vague. I wouldn't have equated that rule with the posting of my other links. I was told that I was only allowed to have one outside link on my profile, but after that (since I was told it would be my only warning), I've been scared to post anything else. I wondered if the admin looked carefully through my profile after the exchange to try to get some dirt on me (maybe the guy was accusing me of stuff).

Since I like to stagger posting my videos (once or twice per day), I haven't had the experience with uploading a bunch at once, so I'm puzzled to find out that they don't allow that. As for modifying a clip, their site is not good enough to allow for that - bringing this up since another person commented about them not scheduling off the others. I've had a clip denied because it was a compilation video that didn't describe whether or not these were new videos or old videos put together. Instead of editing it, I had to re-submit it.

For my first payment, they accidentally gave the wrong amount (a lower one), and I reached out to them, the admin was prompt with trying to find out what happened. After a few days of the admin profusely apologizing for being unable to contact the person who takes care of the payment, they sent what was owed right away. Them being quick about payout (when they do it right) and having a good enough directory for customers to find (new) videos are their good attributes.

For a little bit of context: Due to sexting with a man with all sorts of fetishes (yes, including poop), I wondered if I could upload the shitting videos I made for him somewhere so I could make more money off of them. Of course, most sites I found were probably hosting pirated content. ScatShop was the only clip-selling scat site I could find. (According to ScatShop, when they talk about payout rates, they do mention a competitor, not by name, that offers only about 30% of revenue.) Beginning of February, I started uploading, and man, did I find a cash cow! And most of my stuff is just normal documenting pooping into the toilet. This is probably one of my most successful and time-efficient sex work ventures yet. I don't mean to brag about my success with ScatShop, but there's no denying that this fetish has been very good for me. I wish there were good scat clip sites out there so I could expand my reach and not have to be afraid of being kicked off of ScatShop for an arbitrary reason.

In short, I don't like what I've read about people's experiences with them, yet I haven't gone through anything unpleasant for right now. I'm sorry you've had such a terrible time with them. It's so cringe-worthy and infuriating how they've screwed people over.
