What countries tend to have the worst cam freeloaders?

I haven't cammed in a long time, tbh the amount of non-tipping, non-talking (or ones just trying to speak "sexy" gibberish such as "open bobs bb") got really annoying after a while and I was doing okay just making videos and photosets instead so I just started primarily doing that. I think I'd like to give camming another try though, and I'm setting up a new MFC profile.

If I was to utilize the "block locations" setting, what locations would you most suggest (obviously outside of the US, Canada, UK, and Australia) to block to cut down on some of the freeloaders?

Have you considered trying other sites where free chat isn't required?

I block countries where porn is illegal or just where a lot of "open bobs" guys tell me they're from. So that means most of the Middle East, parts of Asia, parts of Africa. A lot of guys from those countries are probably using VPN or another workaround because there are various blocks, but it doesn't hurt, and they can't pay with an IP/card from most of those places if they wanted to.

One thing I've learned from Periscope is that 99% of guys there saying "open bobs" unironically are from Turkey. So, sorry Turkey, you're blocked. Other guys tell me they're from India, Greece or Egypt. Blocked. I have probably at least half of the world blocked, and I never noticed any change on any token site other than a pretty immediate reduction in asshats typing "open bobs" and "mmmmmmmmmmm". I'm sure there are good guys in some of those countries, but ah well, they seem to be outnumbered.

Why bother blocking at all? At least on MFC just mute basics and guests. I have had some members from countries people have said they block spend significant amounts of tokens (I was taken on an 8000 token private once by a guy in Turkey, and I have had guys from India tip decent amounts). Just let premiums speak and don't worry about where they are from?
Obviously this only works on MFC. Or streamate (ignore guest chat)

I've played with turning it on and off on various sites, and sometimes I'd rather just mute guests/greys/etc. and sometimes I'd rather have them be able to talk and filter out some of the noise. A few months ago I was making a decent number of extra tokens with my BAF account bringing in new members from other sources, and they wouldn't all make an account immediately, so that was one reason to keep guest chat on. All depends on how you want to run your room. If I wanted to consistently mute people I probably would remove most of my blocks, because as I said, I'm sure it does filter out some good guys as well.

I guess another concern with muting vs. blocking might be whether a model's intention is to keep them from talking or if they have an issue with them being able to see the feed in the first place. I don't personally care if they can watch me. I've been focusing on SM these days, and there I do just ignore guest chat. There's not much guests can accomplish since it's a private based site, and since their chat is filtered out into a completely separate window that I can minimize.

I block everything except of English speaking, and a few European countries. The overwhelming number of viewers I get if I have everything unblocked makes me nervous and I have never noticed any correlation with tipping. I still get 600 viewers pretty easily which feels way too many for me. The illiterate premiums are mostly gone this way, I like it.

I visit a lot of Colombian models and I have noticed that the vast majority of people who type Spanish in their rooms, never, ever tip.

Oh, and I've had people from India and South America tip/participate in group frequently. So I think it's better to just mute guests and basics if your room is busy, so you don't miss out on members finding you.

Most people who speak Spanish, in my experience and ever other model I have met and talk to about it, don´t spend a cent. Most, not all. Some do on Streamate but they usually start with English and when I realise they are a native Spanish speaker, I offer to switch to Spanish for them.

I wouldnt block areas based on that though. A lot of people travel, and I have had some bigger spenders from French Guinea, Argentina and Chile, and India. Even if they don´t spend as much though, sometimes they will and each cent adds up.

In my experience the most disrespectful and downright abusive are from Mexico and India followed closely by muslims. They also tend to be incredibly cheap. I will ban all the middle east except Israel and Emirates and then also ban India, Pakistan and Mexico

The real question here is: is blocking freeloaders more important than maximizing your token income?

Because freeloaders being able to access your room won't lose you any money.

If rude cheapskate-chatters are the actual issue, there are ignore, ban and kick features in place at MFC to combat this problem.

I tend to block places like most of the middle east, Chad, Haiti, Mexico and Pakistan.After blocking those countries, I had less problems with cheapness and freeloading. However, I keep up places where I know there are big tippers such as Nigeria, Angola, United Arab Emirates, most of the Caribbean. and most of Latin-America. But I work foreign and speciality webcam sites....it is good to keep most of foreign clients.

I lived for a long time in South America. It is a cultural thing. They NEVER spend if they can get something for free especially online. They are perfectly okay with pirated content, be it movies, music or whatever, even if it is indie, if they can trick their way around paying for something they will, and I am not even talking about the poor. Middle class and high class people will do it too because it is cultural. Obviously there must be exceptions but those are far in between.

I dont ban all of SA because brazilians, peruvians, chileans, are actually respectful and nice. But mexicans and sometimes colombians are cancer. They will insult you, berate you, humiliate you, post links to your stolen content in chat, PM your high tippers to insult them, etc.

No, that would be a bit different. English is the language on MFC and the main lingua franca in the world so no one would expect that. But smaller language groups work differently when they find girls with the same native language (especially if they have tendency to freeload) and try to dominate their time without tipping. Most often you can see it with the Spanish speaking audiences.

I agree, English can be split into smaller categories but same theory still remains if you imagine the accents like smaller languages. I've personally never seen a model that shares my native language but if I did I would probably feel a connection right away. It wouldn't stop me from tipping though.

Maybe it's because I live in Mexico, but I have quite a few regulars and semi-regulars from Mexico. A few of them have tipped pretty substantially.
