What should I do if a model or producer do not deliver a custom video?

Hello everyone! I am new to this forum and I hope I found the right spot for help from an online community.

I will make a long story very short. I paid for a custom video from a model and she put the video online for sell a month ago. She has not sent me the video. I emailed her multiple times to receive my copy of the video. She first responded by saying she would send the video. I waited a week before sending another email about not receiving the video. She has ignored me and the video appears to be selling well. It appears in the top sells in her category and overall site.

What should I do at this point? I am too embarrassed to file legal action. The average person is not going to go to court over a custom porn to avoid it being public record.

How did you pay? Depending on if you paid through the website she’s selling from, you can contact support and politely request a refund.

Other options, buy it from her store and never order from her again or don’t order it from her store and count your losses.

I have been producing for almost 6 years and am always very prompt when delivering video's/customs. Unless something messes up my time frame (like if it's G/G or B/G) and the other performer is sick/cancels then yes of course I would reach out and apologize and get them there custom ASAP.

I know this is a silly question but did you check your spam folder? maybe she did send it to you and you missed it in your email. This happened to a customer of mine a few months ago. He wanted a B/G custom; I delivered it and then of course put it up to sell. He contacted me like 2 weeks after it was up nicely asking where his custom was (shock because most dudes are dicks) so I was really confused and nicely replied that I had sent it w/ a link; I even forwarded my email from before to show him yes I did send it. He still doesn't receive my email.. Weird so I asked him to check his spam folder and guess what.. It was there. He apologized greatly and of course thanked me for taking my time to help him.

It just seems really weird to me why someone wouldn't send a custom yet put it up for sale (I guess thats where I am getting confused) So thats why I am assuming you may have missed the email?

File legal action? What? LOL.

That's a good suggestion. A lot of my important Yahoo! e-mails wind up in that damn Spam folder.

I also think it's weird for a model to post her custom for sale, yet not send it to you...the person who shelled out the bigger bucks for it to be made. I really do hope it just wound up in your spam folder, as Bianca suggested.

Filing legal action might be uncommon int his industry but it's honestly not something that strikes me as weird IF all other avenues had been exausted. If i got ripped off on other things I would use small claims court ...

I'd agree with DOUBLE TRIPLE CHECKING that you haven't missed the email somehow. I'd contact her again and say you cannot see an email, give her the benefit of the doubt (maybe something went wrong and it didnt send properly) and explain that if she doesn't get in contact you're going to seek a refund.

I'd start with contacting the site you purchased through and explaining the situation and asking for a refund. If you did a private transaction you may need to look at filing a chargeback with your bank. Don't do that if you purchased through a site though, as it may get you banned from using that site or payment processor.
