Is it normal to charge 600 tokens for 15 minutes? In true private, 600 tokens is only seven and a half minutes.

Every girl charges different things. Some choose to do skype cheaper in hopes of getting larger tips/raising cam score, others charge more to compensate for the inconvenience factor. Personally I price each show accordingly depending on what the viewer wants not just on time, however a general 15min show on skype I normally charge around $50 or 1000 tokens.

It's the fundamental concepts of supply and demand. I refer you to the this for the pro's and con's of Skype shows: viewtopic.php?f=28&t=3949&start=60#p139464. I'd say it's fair to charge between 600 to 1000 tokens per 15 minutes. The price is dependent on what you're willing to accept, and what your clients are willing to pay. If you can command a higher price, then all the more power to you.

Good luck with your endeavors.

Like Elay said, every girl is different.
I personally think it's a HUGE inconvenience
if they want to skype as opposed to just the private on MFC.
Not really to sure of the difference but whatever lol.

I automatically charge then the True Private Cost, which is
80Tkns a minute with a 15 minute minimum. Of course, the more
time they spend, the cheaper is becomes. 15 is 1200 tkns where as
30 minutes would only be 2000.

I would STRONGLY advise against doing Skype Shows for any other
payment other them MFC Tokens (paypal. ect)

I am currently doing skype for 40 tokens a minute. At that pricing, 600 tokens is indeed 15 minutes. I'm doing this because I'm not on MFC currently, and there are some guys who've wanted shows but don't want to switch to the site I'm working through. The offshoot is it will help my camscore, since I don't plan on being back on MFC for at least a few more months. Probably not until late this year.

I plan to make a big deal out of my return, with a brand-new profile layout, and a well-laid set of rules and such. And I will not be offering skype shows when I do restart it.

I do 500 for 15mins- the usual ask
750 for 30 mins
1500 for 60mins

always in tokens! will help your camscore and no problems with paypal.

i didnt realise we could away with charging more but im a brand new model only been here 3 weeks so i think its best for me to start low x

I used to charge that much for 15 minutes, but I recently decided to raise the rate so that it's the same price as a MFC private show. So now I charge 60 tokens per minute with a 10-minute minimum.

I thought about doing Skype shows for a while (for tokens only, obviously), decided against it. For some reason guys think we should be charging 10-30 tokens a minute. This logic is totally ass backwards to me. I think Skype shows should be AT LEAST the cost of a true private (80 tokens per minute), it wouldn't be out of line to ask for 90 or 100 tokens per minute instead. (and possibly lower the price the longer the Skype show goes on)

1. You're likely getting better connection, because it's through Skype, and not through MFC, so better cam connection, plus you can make the video full screen, etc.
2. You're taking the model off of MFC, meaning off of where she could be making money in tips and other privates, groups, etc.

I'm sure there are other reasons but it's 6 am and I can't sleep so this is what my brain is thinking of.

I think Skype shows are great to give out for prizes in a raffle though, that's probably the only way I'll do a Skype show.

Skypes, when they work, give you a higher resolution and you do not have to type, but I have had them fail often to even provide that. The members also lose the automatic recording and archiving of the show. I would never pay true private rates for one, but all I ever seem to do on Skype is just talk, and get things like shower or cooking shows.

I think that's fair. I myself don't charge per minute. I charge based on what the person wants. More complicated for me [specific toys, outfit requests, outfit changes, roleplaying, multiple positions, etc] costs more. Simple stuff costs less. My prices are actually a lower than what a True Private costs, && I don't have a general time limit... [Of course, if I have to do something, etc, I let the person know ahead of time before he pays for the show, etc that I only have xxx amount of time, && make sure they're okay with it]

The reason I don 't do a time limit, is because I get nervous as fuck worrying about time management when trying to cum. I want it to be enjoyable for ME && the other person. Worrying about time running out x tokens fucks that up for me, LOL.

The one pain in the ass, is when someone wants a Skype RIGHT NOW... I either tell them they need to wait til I'm done in free chat/getting my countdown, etc... Or say we can go now, but you will have to pay extra if you want your show THIS INSTANT. If people aren't tipping, I will tell everyone... Okay, ya'll have xxx amount of time to get some tippage going, etc && if not in that amount of time, I'm going to log off to do a show.

Wow...I feel spoiled...

I paid a model on MFC 20 bucks for a 30 minute skype show that ended up lasting 3 hours...(and while I did tip her more at the end...it wasn't 2.5 hours worth)...

If she enjoyed your company, I don't think they'd mind too much. It's a rare occurrence, but consider it to be finding treasure in the most unlikely of places.

I have totally done this same sort of thing before. When the person is really cool/chill/awesome && there's a good vibe, && if I don't have anything else that I need to be doing, then I LOVE when this happens. :D.

Indeed rare. Most everyone is like uh yeah. Time to go now, or for instance the model has to get back on. Yous lucky! :)

I also had a Skype show end up lasting 3 hours, as the model and I just chatted the night away. I actually saw the sun rising behind her as we talked. And she was the one who kept it going, even after I repeatedly asked her if she wanted to end it.

Guys who talk to me about Skype shows almost universally imply that models do Skype shows for less than MFC shows because a model isn't worth the MFC price (they don't say it in a dickish way but it means the same thing).

So to me, any member who wants a Skype show for less than 60 tokens a minute is essentially saying, "I don't think you're worth the full price so pls make me cum for less!".

A lot of them also like it because they want to pay through Paypal, and when they skip MFC they can spend 3 per minute, not 6.

Personally, I *sometimes* prefer Skype shows over MFC privates. It is definitely far less stress for me because I can have time setting up and chatting to the guy before I decide to start the timer. I also don't have the feeling that every second counts and if I feel it is fair I let the timer run longer.

However, today I made MORE in voyeur tokens than I did in privates so there is definitely a disadvantage to taking the show away from MFC.

I also only do Skype shows for tokens or Amazon gift cards, never for Paypal, which is what most guys want. The Amazon card option is for guys who don't want to spend money on MFC.

For ladies who are interested in doing Skype shows, I suggest setting a time limit. Because through my Amazon gift card option to pay, it means they pay total probably around half the cost while I get the same amount. This also means they want huge shows that in my experience turn boring.

Christ.

I'm probably going to post a rant thread about it in a second. Because fuck. Some guys.

I actually believe the contrary. It may not be that they're unwilling to pay - rather, they cannot afford the $6/min figure of a private show, thus they try to negotiate with you. The downside of private shows is regardless of what's happening, the rate stays flat - which is where Skype could succeed. I think Skype shows should be set ideally at 70tk/min for the sexual part, with a small amount of extra time given to have a small discussion and such at no extra cost incurred by the consumer.

It doesn't pressure the model to get naked as soon as possible, so 1/4 of the show could just be setting the scene by having a good time. Models aren't confined to MFC rules, so b/g shows could be established for enticing more willing patrons to pay up, etc.

I don't get the negative attitude towards Skype, paid for by gift cards. A $100 gift card costs $100 and gives the model $100. That's better for everyone except MFC. Skype is flexible, and you can talk like two horny people getting each other off. I've read the problems models have with Skype, but I don't understand how they can outweigh the advantages.

Here's a simple answer: The models aren't comfortable with it. It's already enough of an obstacle to overcome the decision of being naked on the internet. They already have to deal with countless immature cretins who try to make their lives as uncomfortable as possible. They don't want or need to pretend to be attracted to someone who they just aren't attracted to - I'd argue that to pressure them to do so would be tantamount to psychological/sexual abuse.

Cam to cam, mic to mic, potential for scamming, lack of escrow feature, potential for packetsniffing (and thus leaking ip + general location), etc. all serve to be considerable disadvantages to the model. Oh, and this is all foregoing the fact that non-token expenditure doesn't contribute to camscore.

I've heard the argument that the model 'receives 100% as opposed to 60%' all too often. Most of the time, it's not altruistic - the member doesn't want to give her 100% of $6/min, he wants to save 40% of $6/min.

It's a personal preference. Why should anyone be obligated to do Skype shows, if they're uncomfortable with it?

I'm not sure if my apartment manager would accept a gift card for the rent that's due....

It's only better for the member. As a model, she is still getting paid the same amount. Even more, she can't use that money as cash to pay her bills or even freely spend it - that money will be confined to Amazon or whatever single store it's from. You can't say, "you now have $100 worth of stuff and that is just as good as $100 worth of your car being paid off".

It's not a "negative" attitude. Gift cards aren't gonna pay for our rent, food, etc.

The only time I promote the gift card idea (well, e-gift cards, in my case) is when it's around my birthday or around Christmas. And even then, I'd still prefer to have tokens instead since it's money in my pocket. I do love Amazon, but it's certainly not gonna pay for my Sprint phone bill, for food for me and my son, etc.

It's personal motherfucking preference. May I fist your asshole with my car? No? WHY THE FUCK NOT? WHAT A NEGATIVE ATTITUDE. Yeah. That's exactly what I thought.

If a model is not comfortable doing something, or doesn't like it, FOR WHATEVER REASON, that's reason enough to NOT DO IT. I feel like members are getting extra demandy when a model say she doesn't want to, or isn't uncomfortable with something... Which is downright rude, && uncalled for. I don't understand why everything is such an issue these days && why there is so much pressure. There's HOW MANY CAM MODELS in the land of the internets? Find another one who does what you want.

The cons, && pros, in the personal opinions/preferences of both models AND members have been discussed here, && on other places on this forum... So for you to not understand... Well, none of us can help you, because you should have figured it out already. All the information you need to make an informed decision is there.

I don't accept gift cards for shit. I always feel like I'm one of the only models out there who DOESN'T accept them, but I know I'm not. Having to explain this to every retarded fucking ingrate asshole who get's shitty with me because I say "SORRY NO GIFT CARDS" makes me want to sterilize the human population. This should be common sense: If I get a gift card, I can only use said gift card at said store where the gift card is from. Unless it's a Visa or Mastercard. Which Amazon doesn't do. Nor can I pay my rent with a Visa or Mastercard gift card either.

As far as the "Skype is flexible, and you can talk like two horny people getting each other off." I DON'T DO SOUND ON SKYPE. As in the person who is paying for the show, agrees to keep their mic muted during the show. I don't turn sound on anyones cam on MFC either. I really don't need, or want to hear that shit. That's MY personal preference. It makes me incredibly uncomfortable.

Anyways. Your post came off as rather rude, as well as ignorant. I am sure you didn't intend it to come off that way, I am just saying. I'm sure my post comes off as being a cunt, but that's me going off the tone of how I interpreted your post. - shrug.

600 tokens for 15 minutes sounds pretty ok if a bit low. it is really whatever you are comfortable with. oy skypes i have so many feelings about them. i do them pretty often. personally love e gift cards. just about everywhere does them anymore even grocery stores. i only take them when i can afford to though. im just annoyed with the skype trend in general. everyone wants skype and i understand maybe you cant afford private prices but then too bad no show for you! buy a video, a pic set or just go fap to free internet porn. your poorness is not my problem i dont raise my prices and go hey you know i have a lot of bills how about we do 10 dollars a minute today? so you shouldn't expect me to lower my prices cause you are too po to afford the extra or.

10 minutes is $35, 20 minutes is $70, and it has to be paid to my Payoneer account.
It's about the same thing that I would make if I was doing a private on MFC, but the member is paying substantially less. Plus, when I log out of MFC, to log into Skype, I miss out on voyeur tokens that I would have gotten from doing a private on MFC, and possible tips from other members. And it doesn't help my camscore.
So to make it worth it to me it's gotta be cash to my Payoneer account. At least that way, I'll have the money in a day or two instead of having to wait for MFC's pay date.

I know a couple models who take gift cards for skype and use those gift cards to buy things that you wouldn't normally think were available on Amazon. Stuff like Red Bull, Clorox Clean Up wipes, shampoo, ect. Sure the gift cards aren't legal tender for paying rent, but if a model can get gift cards to pay for some of her basic necessities and household items, that means she doesn't have to spend her MFC paycheck on those items. I also know a couple models who will allow a guy who wants to take them private when they're in the middle of a countdown and don't want to break the momentum to go on skype with them at a later time. Another example: a guy is a regular in a model's room and he gets moved to working nights or the model changes her hours and suddenly they're never online at the same time. Skype gives them the option to set up a time to get together for a session at a time that works for both of them. As for setting up rates per minute / per session, that's between the model (and sometimes the individual member) and there are often extenuating circumstances that put the rest of the world in no position to pass judgement on their decisions.

Pulled these off a couple friend's wishlists (and added a few of my own) to show why Amazon gift cards are with a few exceptions, just as good as cash

While they can be used to get necessary items... I only need about $60 a month of necessities (toiletries, cleaning products, paper products). So anything over $60 a month is going to be going to things I want but don't need.

Plus, if I don't know I'm going to need it until I need it in a couple days, then I'm not going to be able to get it on amazon in advance, and will end up paying more for shipping. It just feels like a waste to me, to pay $15 for shampoo that costs me $7 a walmart.

While true you can get almost anything online via Amazon, most models don't have the cash flow to be able to piss away cash, gift card or in hand. I did a check on the prices on the Amazon stuff... you're paying almost double for those "necessities" from what you would if you went to the local grocery and bought the exact same items. THAT in itself Is financial suicide.
