I've been pretty heavily addicted to CB for the past 6 months or so. It started as a gradual shift from regular porn, which I've been a big fan of since forever and generally thought cam sites didn't make sense because I wouldn't pay for good porn so I definitely wouldn't pay for amateur dildo play. Then one day I turned my camera on and got a nice reaction and it was game over for me.
Anyways, since then I've had a lot of thoughts about the concept as a whole and gone back and forth between feeling like it was a cool community, expression, freedom kinda thing and other times getting stuck on every moral question you can imagine. At this point I think it's overall just a symptom of an unhealthy society, but also a good and necessary step in our evolution. But I don't think about it too much because at the end of the day I'm in love with dozens of beautiful foreign women (half of them probably hate me and the other half have probably never seen me) and it's basically the only thing I find joy in anymore. (although sometimes it's soul crushing misery)
I'd like to create a series of threads with these kinds of questions if Amber approves, which I understand she might not because some of them are uncomfortable. So I'll start with this one to give an example.
Do any models ever feel bad when you think about real sex workers and how a lot of them have very dark situations that put them on that particular path and all of the crap they have to go thru, a lot of them not making much doing it, having drugs pushed on them, giving their boss most of the money, etc., and then there are cam models making tons of money in a nice cushy room and looking down on all the simps cheering them on while having the nerve to glorify sex work and play the role of "brave self expressionist fighting the good fight for all sex workers"?.
And btw, I'm not just a monger who's being a hater. I love everybody, basically. And I think most models are super cool and brave. I just think that's a topic that maybe should be addressed more often in the community, because models, specifically "camgirls" can be a bit of an echo chamber surrounded by groveling yes-men.
