As I've been watching some of the girls in the past week, I've heard many of them say they've received warnings for rule violations. It would seem as though, even though bans aren't being handed out, that the admins are attempting to make their presence known to the girls who break the rules.

Keep your wit about you girls! And you members: don't encourage pushing the rules! I'm so sick of hearing "who cares, all the other girls use toys in public chat, the rules don't matter" and all that crap. Ultimately, models on MFC can choose to handle their shows however they want, I just wanted to put a friendly reminder to all my lovely friends here that the admins can choose to enforce the rules at any time, so keep sharp!!

That's good. Maybe it'll put these models in line as well as the premiums and (lol)cheapskate basics who encourage them.
 
Good idea to have this posted since it seems the admins are actually making it known some shit isn't allowed/is against the rules.

Slightly off topic: I never understood prems who encouraged that kind of behavior from basics by listening to them.
 
Aww, fuck the rules. As a cheapskate myself, I have no problem with models doing all sorts of crazy shit in public. I miss the days when SexySandra would put hammers and baseball bats up her ass. How about that time we got GoldieLoxxx to assfuck herself in public with a Grey Goose bottle? Lots of fun.

But that is interesting they're stepping up enforcement. I'm not sure how much I believe they'll keep up with it, but we'll see how it goes. I've heard of models getting scolded in the past, but not top models. Hell, I've seen most Miss MFC winners use at least dildos in public chat.

Technically, encouraging a model to break the rules is a "zero tolerance" violation, according to MFC. Yeah right. If zero tolerance meant zero tolerance then man-cammers wouldn't only get slaps on the wrist. That Colombian chick I watched eat her own shit on cam, then gag herself with a dildo till she barfed it up on her chest? Yeah, she was back the next day under a different account name.

tl;dr The admins are fucktards who can't even keep the site from crashing, and their enforcement of the rules is a joke.

I agree, but all MFC would have to do is fine models a large amount of tokens for violating rules repeatedly. That would be money that MFC could keep and use for other things. Like upgrading their servers.

Hmmm.... I wonder if THAT has anything to do with the uptick in enforcement.

Or a low level "trusted person" who can just sit there and click a button on a special client which will take a screen shot and send it to the real admins, who then swing the ban/fine hammer.

Here's a suggestion - have premiums be able to report models breaking the rules - admins investigate and if the model is really breaking the rules - premiums are rewarded with 100 tokens. If the premium is found to be griefing the model they lose all their tokens and are banned for a week.

Sounds much more complicated, and would encourage the many assholes on there to do what they do best.

Yup, need someone employed by the site to do the dirty work. Someone unbiased.
 
It's really not all that complicated to put the kabosh on the rule breakers. Hire an impartial person to stealthily monitor links in the lounge. Warn the offenders for their first offence, the second violation gets a hefty fine with time away to think about it, and on the third strike -- you're out. None of this coming back with another name crap either. What's so complicated about that?

The rules are so lax because they'd lose a shitload of money if they were 100% enforced. Fines wouldn't even come close to balancing out the income that the rule breakers make, which also brings new paying customers daily and one of the major factors the site is so popular.

Don't the rules for model's avatars state no explicit nudity and have to be approved?

I suppose the following avatars were approved because they are not showing explicit nudity or breaking ANY of the site's rules. :whistle:

that will make mfc be like a zoo cause then alot of people will try to trick models to do illegal stuff to get ban so they can get tokens for free and you would be suprise how much models will break the rules




money talk bullshit goes a long way :shifty:
 
I have seen all the wrong camgirls get banned/fined/warned, to be frank we cannot trust MFC to police and enforce their own rules fairly when they give their own "favorites" a pass every single time, I have reported a few of them with screenshots and information like 5 times and fuck all has been done.

I know my suggestion wasn't perfect. The only thing that will really clean things up and make them fair is if the hired people who could really be objective and couldn't play favorites, but I think that is hard to do. Plus, each person they hire lowers their profit so there is not really an incentive for them to do it. I think the only things that will make them get real about enforcing the rule is if enough models take their ball and go home, and if they lose enough premiums - and they are convinced it is over rule-breaking. The possibility of any of those things happening much less all of them is extremely remote. This is why it is important for models not to measure their self-worth by their cam score. If you are camming and making a good living, great - if you are camming because it is fun and you aren't so worried about the money - also great. If you are camming and you aren't getting enough money or enough fun out of it maybe you need to re-evaluate whether or not you want to be doing it.

I'd like to see more cam girls work social networking - non necessarily Facebook, but definitely twitter.
 
Kinda off topic with this whole "recorded for free" stuff, but I'll say what I say every time: Lots of people record girls on cam sites and post them elsewhere for whatever reason. It's part of the game, it comes with the territory.

Another thing to keep in mind is that MFC may have many affiliated and sister sites that are allowed to use our content.

Back to topic: We all have these ideas of what will work best to solve MFC's problems but ultimately, even though models get frustrated and angry at each other for the rules, MFC is not suffering right now so they don't have a whole lot of incentive to really crack down and change their processes. The reason I posted this to begin with was to say that it seemed as though they were making an effort. Let's just see what happens.
 
It doesn't make much sense to me why mfc even has these rules. Do they need to have them for some kind of legal loophole, or are they honestly trying to keep their site a certain way. I agree with the previous poster that, mfc is dedinitely doing well fiscally, buy if that is really the main driving force behind the site, then why have any rules at all. The way I see it, if they allowed anything, they would make even mOre monies. Just my opinion

If you are going to do something that will result in a video of you being generated and displayed on a screen it can be captured and that you can't stop. You just have to hope that the user will have the decency not to post it (if you don't want it posted). If someone posts the video they should definitely at least post a link that will allow people to see the model live they saw in the video.
 
i have seen a few people come on mfc and say they are 17 m and some models didnt do nothing about it they kept going on with there shows and mfc should get some volunteer to help models out when they too busy doing stuff ( hell i would volunteer to help mfc for free just for a mfc t shirt :mrgreen: ) but mfc is not what it seems to be as before some models are working on like 4 or 5 different sites and forget they on mfc and its slow for them there so they do all sort of stuff to get money

I'm no porn site expert, but since I've been working on opening my own, all it would take for MFC to allow a little more rule bending in public (even if it would put them out cash wise) is add a warning or landing page on the site that people have to agree that they are 18 or over (depending on the state/region they are in) and boom. They wash their hands of all responsibility for the most part.

So far as I can see they don't want to put this warning up which is why the bitch about "adult" default (main page) pics or "adult" profile pics and I honestly think (no, I don't know for sure of course) the reason they try to enforce the rules is because in a sense they would be losing more money than they gain if every chick on the site did public shows because they'd be trying to under cut each other price wise (e.g. one model charge 1000 for a show another will charge 500, etc) Technically after all is said and done the well known girls who pay attention to the rules, entertain their watchers, and have followings are carrying the site (IMO) more than the ones just trying to make a quick buck.

I was hanging out in SuneAdura's room and lately, sure some have you have noticed, some of the messages either lag for a good bit, from the people in the chat room, or when they enter it it shows on their screen but never enters the chat. She had one basic who was so-so but we were all having fun in her room just talking and the guy asked if she saw what he had to tell her. She said no, as it never came up on her screen or anyone else's. After a time or two more it finally went through and he said he was 16. Sune told him he had to leave to room because she could get in trouble. He fought about it for a minute until she had to get stern and say "You can leave yourself or I will ban you" so he left.

30-45 minutes later she had her countdown done and was nude (was in bra and panties prior) and the guy comes back and comments on how hot she is and wow. She warned him again and he rambled on about he liked to chat with her and how cool she was. She was being real sweet and calm-way longer then I could have. I would have banned him right after he refused to leave the first time and I had explained the situation along with every other person chatting. So she ended up banning him.
