You know a girl is on her period? I've seen models write "no penetration vaginally" and that's like code for: I'm bleeding and this site doesn't allow it, but they're still being obvious that they are bleeding. I haven't been able to get a straight answer from camsites directly as to why they don't allow it, most deny it's the payment processor, but I'm sure it's the payment processor. Super weird.

I wanna know, dudes, does it "gross you out" or do even the words "I'm bleeding so no vag stuff today" make you weirded out? Or are you not caring whatsoever? If the fan base is into a certain fetish, and it's popular for the site, and no one is harmed in the process, I see it being a mistake to ban it. For example, a website I've been with since 2011 un-banned urination. They saw it was a potential earner and it definitely is.

The stigma of the period is a strange one. I'm trying to figure it out. Being a sexworker, if I lose an egg and some lining, it could possibly interfere with my earnings. This is one of the reasons I'm so intrigued about it being forbidden/intolerable.

Pretty much all payment processors prohibit blood, especially menstrual blood, because it's legally classified as "obscenity", I believe at a federal level. Some clipsites will turn a blind eye (extralunchmoney and amateurporn, that I know of), but if a processor were to say something, they'd have to remove the content.

I've seen models be frank that they're only doing clit play or non-explicit shows due to their period, usually using the euphemism "shark week", and most viewers I've observed have been adults about it.

This is why I am having such a hard time accepting it. Bonga literally told me that it wasn't their processor, but they said if i don't like it that I can leave so they must be lying cause they are famous for it. I'ts really fucking shitty that our normal organ shedding and a sign of being healthy as a female is considered obscene at a federal level. It makes me want to find whoever decided this and give them live updates and videos about my period. Manyvids told me that as long as i don't make it obvious, I can sell period stuff there too... I mean shipping panties is illegal but they don't give a shit about that one lol so they are good in my book. So you're saying people like visa are opposed to vaginas doing their normal thing? Orrrrrrr is it someone like CCbill?? I'd love to have a serious educational talk with them, whomever it is. I get asked alot for this type of fetish and I always have to figure out how to get them to go on skype because the one thing they like isn't allowed on the site they signed up on. -.-

This is an extreme comparison, but I feel it's kind of like those guys in office on their high horses saying "I do not want you to do what you want with your uterus with your doctor" and processors are saying we can't bleed on camera in our own homes and they don't want guys paying money for it(paying them a percentage), like wtf is this bizarre ass logic. I just hate when people think they have to abide by something that was put in place for the purpose of being a barrier, not to actually help. I'm wondering what they thought they might prevent by labeling blood as obscene, even fake blood... are these people even human?

There is no federal law agianst blood in porn. The reason why they don't allow blood is because they are afraid that it could be interpreted to be obscene under the Miller Test.

It doesn't gross me out: I like being informed when my favorite models can't do certain things we'd might otherwise tip for. I'm not necessarily wanting to see blood, but I'd understand if some happened to show up. I certainly wouldn't get upset with the model.

Only time I've freaked out over menstrual blood was the time I was having sex with my ex, and I guess I lost track of the dates and times. When the condom came out bloody I had some panicked brain-lock.

I know during the late 90's/early 2000's blood and blood-play was banned by US federal law on the internet; currently it lives under the ephemeral "obscenity" gray area.

I think I have a bit of an old school mentality when it comes to this stuff :bag:

It's one thing to say you're on your period, but some models are very crass with how they say it & include intimate details that I really don't need to know

I once saw a model finger herself and say "oh yeah I'm on my period" and wipe the blood on her ass cheek

My personal taste in women is for them to have a little decorum with it, well, at least what I feel is lady like behavior anyway

I just say it's Shark Week and that there's going to be no penetration. I've yet to have a member complain, tbh. Usually they appreciate you being frank with them.

The kind of member i wanted in my room was the kind of member who realised I was human.

I outright would say that a massacre was happening in my pants. or. If I was feeling less ... Obtuse... I would say I wasn't taking off my knickers that day or its shark week, sorry!

If dudes can feel comfortable asking me to double fist myself while doing back flips then licking my fists off I think I can talk about a natural body function. Like dudes will come in and give intimate details about their peen. Soooo o.o

I think another reason sites don't want girls doing graphic shows while on their period is site image. Tbh if dudes who are turned off by blood and enter a show where the topic was "hot dildo orgasming!" And they went into the show and it looked like a crime scene they may leave the site forever. I feel like most decent members are cool with you mentioning it's your lady time, but a lot probs have no desire to indulge in a orgasm massacre show bb.

My regs started to know my lady schedule fairly well. Like they knew it was coming so they could prepare themselves with shows they wanted before or know they had to wait.

ETA: some ladies have methods to "conceal" and work straight through the lady times. So having your period certainly doesn't mean you can't do shows.

i don't care if its shark week for a model or not, but i dont really come to camsites to see that stuff. but for the personality of the person and such.

a little unrelated, i remember reading that a surdent camsite even had it in their TOS that you could not even mention you where on your periode.....
so if a person askede why you could not do vagina stuff, then you where legaly not allowed to say "i'm on my periode" or you riskede getting removed from the site.

If you can send unsolicited dick pics to cam girls, and tell them about all the things you wanna do to their butt holes, you especially shouldn't be going "TMI!" when they say "No penetration because it's my time of the month." :) They are stating a fact. It's not like they're holding the dirty tampon (or pad) up to the screen.....

Payment processors don't allow it but this is basically because it's seen as obscene, stuffy shithead men in an office somewhere who know nothing about their wives, and are probably the biggest perverts out there have decided that it's bad mkay. I always imagine lots of grey men in grey suits making lists of stuff that turns them on then banning it all

In my mind, I could care less what guys think about my period or anyone else's period. I think a better question is what makes you feel the most comfortable? Would you rather tell your members honestly or would you rather keep it private and plan different shows that day? That is the way I would approach it.

You can do penetration with soft cups. Just use BBC dildo to camouflage any spillage.

But if I'm not doing penetration shows, I say it verbally instead of writing it in my room topic. It might chase guys away.

"I can't do that right now" Or "I don't want to do that, can we do this instead?"

TBH the only thing that bothers me, and it's a 'not really', is that a natural body function is somehow now 'fetish'. I learned in my college years from my GF that many women are quite horny during the week and tend to hold back because of the 'messy' factor. What really surprised me was that for her, having sex then almost completely alleviated her cramps. Yay for lessening cramps, yay for more sex.

It's insane how horny I am on my period. I don't understand the biological aspects of it but it's definitely true. It's hard to find guys these days that are willing to do anything sexually with you on your period though. Bummer.

I've had numerous guys take me private and ask if I play on my 'red days', then asked me to hold up tampons and panty liners to the cam. I didn't think much of it at the time but I guess I couldve been banned for 'promoting' that kind of fetish.

I can see why it's been banned. Although its just a bodily function and theres nothing disgusting about it, there's a lot of violent conotations with blood, and lines could easily be crossed

I didn't know about this rule and began camping a few days before shark week so when it came up I was unsure how to handle it. I've just played up the other nude content and not advertised as doing cumshows at all, and since I hadn't built regulars yet it didn't seem to be an issue

Oh absolutely not. Shark week happens, no biggie here. Women have periods, they cramp and bleed and such during those intimate times. Any member that either can't or won't accept this particular fact of life shouldn't be worth having around anyway.

I wear a menstrual cup and am able to use toys gently without any blood making its way out. I wear the cup whether I'm on cam or not anyway, but I'm not shy about my period on cam, I've spoken about my cup and how well it works for me lol. Prioritize whatever you are most comfortable with and however you want to portray yourself.

Thanks for all the insight everyone, lots of helpful information on this interesting subject. Does anyone here use a cup that isnt the diva? I've found diva to be too thick so i cant maneuver it to use it. Also, Every box of softcups I've gotten in the past (as gifts, funny right?) have smelled so strong of fragrance, although there is no fragrance added... Where do you get yours??

Ive only been turned off by one thing on MFC and that is the model who did an anal show and had poop come out. That was gross and I immediately unbookmarked her.

Shit happens.
Or as James Deen put it:
"If you’re gonna fuck someone in the butt, you shouldn’t expect to not find poop. Like, that’s where poop comes… Like that's poop’s house. If you came into my house and you’re like, 'James, what are you doing here?' I’d be like, 'You’re in my house. What are you doing here?'"
