    Or worse, when they buy a USB cable and think that entitles them to the TV too. Luckily, I suppose, these people don't spend enough to be able to downvote a Best Buy. "Worst customer service ever. Wouldn't give me free stuff, after I bought their cheapest item!"

    And worse is when they try to make it sound like they are doing you the favor. "You're not busy, so 6tk/min instead of the usual 90 is better than 0." Try that at a Best Buy... "You're not selling any TVs at the moment, so I'll help you out by buying that $700 one for a dollar..."

    Good point. I think I usually say "don't worry about my family," but I think I did use the K word. That said, I usually give them two strikes, unless the first one is really egregious. A number of times the member will apologize and change the topic.

    No argument with those sentiments. In my cases, it's been the opposite situation - they're showing off their wives, or they have some swinging or spouse swapping fantasy. Either way, without approval, it's a violation of their (or my) spouse's privacy.
