I played both (didn’t beat either, tho) and I think Split Fiction is a lot more fun. Granted, my opinion may be a bit biased since I played It Takes Two with my best friend who isn’t the biggest gamer, so I was a bit frustrated the majority of the time I was playing it, haha.

To not dp:

I started playing Post Trauma earlier today. Not much in the way of storyline or fighting, like they kinda dropped the ball and it had all the ingredients to be a great game, but it is a decent homage to the old school Silent Hill games. If you’ve already played the Silent Hill 2 remake and still have that old school survival horror itch, I’d recommend it. Especially since it’s not very long and it is better than a lot of other games that have tried recreating the PS2 era survival horrors.
I've been really wanting to get my hands on a copy of eternal darkness for the GameCube

I finally beat all the challenges in Balatro after being stuck on the hardest one for nearly 3 weeks. This is my current lineup, plus Hearthstone (battlegrounds) on my iPad.

WOW. That is so much Rust.
LOL yeah it's a bit. Been playing since like 2018 I think, we help run a server so there's a lot of idle time there too.

Just been playing the demo of Stella Blade on steam, really good game, normally after like 10mins i'm done with a game but I spent longer than that trying to kill the parking lot boss...still haven't managed it but got stuff I should be doing.
Demo is free on steam so worth giving it a go if you like action combat games imo.

The last game I sunk hours into and couldnt wait to boot back up was Space Marine 2 because it gave me Gears Of War vibes, had to uninstall it because I wasnt getting anything else done 😂

Summer sales got a lot of my money this time around, because I've really been searching for some games to fall in love with, and play for a long time. I ended up opting for a lot of roguelikes, and I'm glad I did. It's really a genre full of games with long legs. I got a bundle with Dwarf Fortress, Caves of Qud, and Tales of Maj'Eyal. Caves of Qud is especially intriguing -- super weird setting, with lots of narrative elements -- it really pricks at my brain. I spent a lot of time this weekend playing Tales of Maj'Eyal, but I don't feel like I know what I'm doing yet lol. It's got almost 1,800 achievements! Ten hours, and two characters in, and I've unlocked three achievements. I've played Dwarf Fortress in the past, and bounced off it, but the graphical upgrade and Adventure Mode in the Steam version has a lot of renewed appeal for me.

Also, a hidden gem: Unexplored 2: The Wayfarer's Legacy. A deadly point crawl, where dungeons feel safer than overland travel. I spent an hour in a panic, crossing the entire map with only one hit point, and no way to heal, trying to get back to the only safe place to rest. Best gaming experience I've had in a long, long time.

Been playing a lot of magic arena recently, it's got me wanting to start collecting magic again 😂

I've recently reinstalled Cyberpunk 2077 to replay since they keep updating it! They even teased a new DLC potentially in the future, so I am HYPE! I've been mostly poking at newer group-games / multiplayers like PEAK, Splitgate 2, Dune, and the new Destiny 2 DLC. Been doing a bit of Helldivers as well but kinda have fallen off of that

I wish I hadn't burned out so fast on Helldivers 2. It was fun for a minute.

I hear you, I usually only poke at it when there's an update or new stuff added, which has been slowing down considerably lately
Yeah I hear less and less about it in social media/reddit. Guess it had its days.

I enjoyed the concept, but hate when games force you into groups. If I wanna play solo or just queued up with my hubby, don't wanna be punished for the small group size. I don't always want to group up with strangers, or have to have a friend group to drop into a game.

That was a problem with a few other games I played too. If there isn't a solo or duo mode, I don't last long. Marvel Rivals was short lived for me on that note as well.

I think I played marvel rivels for like 5 or 6 games and the entire time I was playing it I was just thinking "I would rather be playing unreal tournament" then I found out epic took the servers offline (but you can still download the map editor... just cant play the game 😂 ), ended up installing quake champions instead, I found marvel rivals just felt really slow.

Been playing a lot of Magic arena recently, hadnt logged in in so had a ton of booster packs to claim, still havnt opened them because then I will want to make a new deck and it's just so many cards to go through 😂

Have you ever tried Blizzard's Hearthstone? If you like card/deck building games it's quite polished. I started on that, but then they added a battlegrounds game mode that I love even more, so I've sunk waaaaaay to many hours and dollars into it hah

Yeah, I played hearthstone for a while, havnt played it in a long time though, I was looking through the cb game list because they have leauge and tft, so thought harthstone (different company I know) would have been there, nope, that was probably one thing that could have got me to switch over since game play wise they are pretty similar.

I think the biggest thing Magic arena is missing that would separate them out from all the other card games would be making an app so that if you buy physical cards you can scan them and add them to your digital collection, seems like such an obvious thing which would get more people playing and more people buying physical. I know they do it for some of the starter kits, you get a code you can redeem online so it seems odd that they wouldn't allow you to add all physical cards.

I think the biggest issue with all the digital card games I have played is the same, there's no real good way to like go through your cards, sort them, short list them and then build out the deck, you just kind of have to know what is in your collection and know what you are looking for.
