I was messaged by a model that she knew which models I tipped the most. She told me she ranked number 2 on my list and correctly identified the model that I sent the most tips to. Do models have access to user metrics on tipping? How is this possible? I tip a lot of models and some may be upset if they had this information.

Everyone has access to this data. Public tips are stored on a public API. If you didn't send the tips in a private show, they are visible to whoever wants to parse them.

Statbate.com, for example, is a site that hosts the data for everyone to view.

That said, it's a bit...stalker-ish, to hunt down your tippers' other tippees. It should be a given that users tip multiple people.
Or at least if she's going to check the data, don't mention it to the tipper. Giving jealous vibes.

I mean...kind of. You don't see the actual user name tipping because it's truncated but I suppose it wouldn't be hard to figure out. Isn't there a pay/subscription option that reveals more info and I've been repeatedly assured that it's not even remotely accurate, right @cbhours ?

OP -- I would seriously consider withdrawing your support from this model if she continues to make it an issue. There's no room for this in token site communities.

Unfortunately, there is a chunk of models who do this kind of stuff. I've even had models admit to doing this on SM to me. They go room to room on their user accounts, stalking down spenders, and seeing who else they are tipping, and how much. That's (one of the reasons) why I make everyone in my room set their chat to invisible. As well as one of the reasons I am quick to kick non paying lurkers (which is maybe not the best thing to do on token sites, but works on SM). Honestly, I think that's such an icky, weird behavior. Kind of like the Twitter "dommes" who go off because subs spend on more than one Domme... I mean, get real here. That's why they are paying sex workers, they want NSA, and to just enjoy themselves with whoever they feel like, whenever they feel like!

I REALLY don't like that kind of stuff. It makes the rest of us have to hide every single interaction we have, and makes us super uncomfy. Not cool at all (on models who do this stuff).

I'm sure it's also a big part of why more than 50% of users on SM set their reviews to anonymous, because they don't want to deal with jealous bullshit.

In the middle of the page there's a banner that says "statbate plus". This is where you can find additional data on tippers. You search their name and you can see who they tipped (unlimited if you pay the sub, but you can see 1 week worth of the data in free mode). From there, any model he tipped can be searched to provide a list of her tippers for the past month, also free to search.

The data isn't entirely accurate, no. It won't be accurate for any tips not received in public, and their servers often get overloaded and fail to register tips during busy times. So yeah, it's not completely reliable to calculate someone's income. But my profile on there is generally accurate to within 90% of my tips (discluding private tips). It's not perfect, but it can give you a clear idea of someone's general income/expenditure.

is streamate featured on there too, or is this only stats for CB? Is SC on there?

It's not showing me anything other than purchase or sign in and I'm definitely not creating an account there.

@MarieElise yes on SC, no on SM.

"Creating an account" consists of an auto populated username and none of your actual info is requested. But yeah, there's no need for you to make an account if you're uncomfortable with it. I was only trying to explain how simple it is for anyone to access that information.

They have data for chaturbate, bongacams, Stripchat, camsoda, myfreecams, and streamate. Streamate data is much less accurate though, because it's mostly a private based site, and private data isn't able to be gathered. To get to the streamate data, you click the tab on top that says search, then type the models name and click SM in the drop-down tab. SM doesn't have its own stats page though, as far as I know.

So it probably can only gather tips given in public chat then, I'm thinking. And only if the user isn't set to invisible, I would imagine.
Thanks for the info, appreciated.

Anytime I've ever come across another model who does stuff like that, I find that their strategy doesn't usually work for them lol so I just don't give a fuck. Focusing on the moment and the clients that are in front of you at that moment is far more successful than hunting people down or poaching other rooms.

Okay so I'm just going to go on a tangent here.

It's amazing to me that states like Wisconsin and Michigan and wherever else want to make the entire internet illegal because they can't stop jacking off and feel guilty about paying women to have sexual intimacies with them on their want scale...INSTEAD OF PROTECTING US from pirating and exploitation and why DMCA is soooo up our ass with personal information to do take downs, why other fringe countries can't won't and won't stop not complying with copyright laws. Instead of bolstering what they crave so much they reach deep instead to make it the most treacherous avenue for anyone involved, on both sides.

If you do not wish to seek out such content you will not find it.

The ticker in the homepage is quite addictive but I find it scrolls too fast and there doesn't appear to be a way to resize it.

It can be expanded using the Browser Tools:

Right-click anywhere on the page and select Inspect

When the Dev Tools open use CTRL-F to find the string content_wslog

The Styles frame in Dev Tools should now show the attributes for .content_wslog

In there the Height is set to 150px as default. Adjust this value to set a new height, then exit the Dev Tools.

Seq.
