I want a focused discussion about content in the cam industry going into 2026 — not just payouts or rankings, but what we’re all watching/performing, and what platform design pushes creators toward.

Please reply from Model, Member, or Both.

1) Content: what should die in 2026?

Examples (pick anything, add your own):

  • “Endless teasing” with no payoff / bait-and-switch vibes
  • Overloaded tip menus that feel like a vending machine
  • Spammy rooms (copy-paste scripts, constant auto-messages)
  • Fake “girlfriend/boyfriend” pressure, guilt-tripping, emotional manipulation
  • Performers pushed into extremes because that’s what ranks
  • Low-effort free-rider farming that kills room energy

Question: What content pattern makes the whole industry worse?

2) Content: what should grow in 2026?

Examples:

  • More interactive but clear structure (goals that actually mean something)
  • Story / roleplay with boundaries (themes, characters, worlds)
  • Better vibe rooms (chat + connection without constant begging)
  • Couple/group shows done right (everyone engaged, no “bored third person”)
  • “Mini-experiences” that feel premium even if they’re short
  • Better aftercare / cooldown culture after intense shows

Question: What content type would you pay more for / perform more often if platforms supported it?

3) The missing middle: “premium” without hardcore

A lot of rooms are either:

  • free nudity / low conversion, or
  • hardcore / burnout.

Question: What does premium look like in 2026 that’s not just “more explicit”

4) Consent, boundaries, and expectations (content clarity)

What would help most?

  • clear “room rules” templates that don’t kill the mood
  • better ways to say “no” without losing the room
  • clearer labels: tease-only / explicit / fetish-friendly / roleplay / chat-heavy
  • better tools for “this is included / this is not”

Question: What boundary/tool would reduce conflict the most?

5) AI + content theft: what changes should happen in 2026?

Content problems getting bigger:

  • reuploads, clip theft, face-swaps, fake accounts, scraping
  • “AI girlfriend” expectations bleeding into live rooms

Question: What protection would actually matter (watermarking, clip controls, takedowns, verification, etc.)?

6) Platform features that shape content (good or bad)

Which platform change would most improve content quality?

  • different discovery for chatty small rooms vs explicit top rooms
  • better moderation tools (spam/harassment control)
  • better “session design” tools (chapters, timers, milestones)
  • better multi-cam / quality options
  • better tagging/search that actually works

Question: What platform design currently forces bad content?

Reply format (so it’s easy to compare answers)

  • Kill in 2026: (1–3 things)
  • Grow in 2026: (1–3 things)
  • One platform feature that would improve content quality:
  • One “hot take”:

No naming/shaming specific performers. I’m looking for patterns + solutions.

definitely the structure of revenue split on tokens models should get more 50% (average model cut) is to low and sites are just greedy they bring in revenue from memberships/subscriptions, ad revenue, etc. they really need to take that big if a % when without the models there is no site Not to mention they definitely are the ones who run the recording sites You think if it wasnt them they would seriously just do nothing about it like they do? they would be shutting them down nonstop to protect their product

also get rid of free users like greys on chaturbate idk maybe let them view free for a set amount of time say x amount of mins or hours or xamount of days but after that if they wish to continue viewing they must sign up

also to prevent piracy watermark every viewers username onto the video when they are watching so if they record its obvius who did it
